I watched this video 3 years ago when I just started shooting sporting clay and did not understand a word.... I came across the video again this evening and I had a big smile on my face because it was music to my ears as I have sculptured and honed my sporting skills over the past 3 years and I do the same techniques by trial and error that were presented.. Moral of the story sometimes explanations are targeted to a more involved audience rather than beginners, and the burden of learning is on the student to keep searching and connecting the dots.

His delivery, while clear and concise, leaves much to be desired (I'm sure he's given this talk thousands of times in the past so it's rote for him by now. It shows in his flat delivery) and is a bit harsh and monotone. With that minor criticism noted, the content and graphics are second to none on this topic. Absolutely the best most understandable and clearly visible explanation for accomplishing this shot I've ever heard. The ShotCam footage is critical for helping new shooters actually envisage the shot picture. Looking forward to watching more. Oh, and the videography is very well done. Nice primes/slider/24p/lighting folks! Top-notch A+ IMO

Skeet is great practice for crossers. I used to hate them, but don't really have trouble with them anymore.

Glad to see he has eliminated that irritating "OK" from his first video. Excellent advice. I love his tips. Most helpful. Now all I need to do is follow his advice.

    This is fantastic!
I love how he knows exactly what he’s doing, but also isn’t bothered about presentation etc.
You can tell this is well produced, but he’s hired someone to do production.
He’s the expert in doing, and explaining.
His ShotKam is crooked and mounted too far back. His clothes clash khaki on khaki, not ironed, ball cap sitting back on his head, etc.
The information is spot on and well explained. This is great stuff.
Not a Hollywood production but the real deal.

This video is miles above the others on the subject. Clear and and concise information coming from a lot of wisdom. Infinitely better in helping me compared to all the Fudd videos. Much thanks

I have a problem with a crosser which drops off quickly ,its about 25yds out and going fast between two trees,i try and shoot it right at the last sight of it but its dipping and needds to be shot ahead and underneath which i find hard ,i normally shoot pull through .Should i try shooting it a lot quicker before it gets to its drop point ,you only see it for about twenty yards of flight .it looks like its crossing ,it is but its dropping near the end ?????

I am not a "beginner" but do have much to learn That said, I have full-time access to some of the best shooters around. I get all of my questions answered and a lot of very useful, critical feedback and tips about my shooting skills. I have to say, I got very little from this video. I must admit, he did say a lot of words.
