    As always, really enjoyed watching this one. It will be 30 years, in a couple months, since I had to dismantle my CX500Turbo in an old rickety garden shed with no power, in order to replace the failed stator. I sure do envy your beautiful shop, boy what I would have given for one back in the day, or now! Cheers :)

    Just bought a running and riding CB1100F last week with 14k miles. Same owner for the last 30 years. Only thing not working is the tach. Aftermarket Yosh exhaust and Corbin seat but he gave me the stock exhaus, seat and eng guards.

      Hi Bengt, I will be posting more videos on the 1100F soon. I am collecting a lot of NOS parts for the build and I need to finish the current CBX recently featured which will be in the next couple of weeks. I will be posting a video on the initial engine tear down for the 1100F at that time. Thank you very much for your support of the channel :)

    Hi can I ask what you do about the brake line do you have a supplier of std rubber line or do you use braided cheers

      Hi Ian, I tend to want to use the original style Honda brake lines if the bike is going to be restored to original showroom assembly line correct condition. They usually are date coded and is one of those details that separate the men from the boys in restoration. But if it was going to be a resto-mod or a daily rider, then, of course, braided lines are the best as far as function is concerned. If I were to use braided lines, I would get black ones or paint them black at least so they sort of look like the originals.

      Hi Mark, I will be continuing the video series on the 1100F later this year. I am finishing a couple of CBXs right now, then I will continue on the 1100F which will be a beautiful bike with many NOS parts that I have collected over the years. Thanks for your support :)

    Just getting ahead here.... are you going to do any engine work? At least a valve clearance check?

    • @digitalpizza1
      @digitalpizza1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ray, yes, as I mentioned in the video, I am going to rebuild the head and install new rings and hone the cylinders, assuming that everything looks good when I remove the head and cylinders.
