@SteveMtrl They are chassis for trucks. It's pretty much the under frame of the truck, and everything is built off of it (or so I understand). If you look at any automotive plant, they most likely get their chassis in by train like this. They are made by Formet, which is one of the biggest employers in St. Thomas. They make this amount of chassis in one day. Each flat bed car holds 72 chassis - therefore 72 new trucks. Pretty crazy stuff. Thanks for watching! :)

    Hey Chris.
I know this video is like 6 years old as I'm writing this and I don''t think you live in London from other videos you have been making lately, but I was wondering how often this trains come up from London from St. Thomas. Is this a daily run?
The first crossing looks like the Hamilton / Horton road crossing area and behind the old Bowl-A-Rama building I'm presuming. I'm coming to London to picking up my son from his grandmothers at the end of the week for Lunch and I hoping maybe to catch some action in this area. Any info would be great!! I thumbs up like the video btw!! :)

Hey! Yeah, I haven't lived in the London area for almost 5 years now! But I believe this local is still running. It is a daily run and (at least used to) leave London around 10am and return around 3 or 4pm? I would suggest maybe sitting at Rectory St or William St, because then, even if you don't catch this local, you can catch mainline trains on the Dundas Sub. Good luck and thanks for watching!

I'm an Ex-Londoner too. I only come to London a few times a year to visit family, but I'm torn at the moment in trying to figure out if I should stop at Beachville / Woodstock area for that OSR 1400.
I've never been there, but I might stay with the safe bet and go with shooting at Rectory or William st like you mention before. :)
