These songs are basically THE songs for T-ara in Korea
(whereas Number Nine and Sugar Free are their biggest hits internationally)

These songs were really iconic for T-ara (and were all composed by Shinsadong Tiger, who's producing a new group right now lol)
"Bo Peep Bo Peep" was iconic for its dance and concept, and even though "Like the First Time" won a poll to be T-ara's title track, "Bo Peep Bo Peep" ended up being promoted but it helped launch T-ara as monster rookies and got them their 1st win. It might not hold up nowadays, and I did know someone who didn't like the song even back in the day, but it's always been iconic of T-ara's unorthodox "chameleon concept". And as a testament to this, its Japanese version was the 1st Japanese song they released, and it was also still very popular in 2014 when they hit it big in the Chinese market. Oh yeah, and it was choreographed by none other than Bae Yoonjung ;0
"Roly-Poly" was iconic as it was their first real drama MV (that they would continue pursuing for "Cry Cry", "Lovey-Dovey", "Day by Day", and "Sexy Love"). And when it released, it got so big that it launched T-ara as a household name, became one of the best-selling albums of the year, and all the other idols were trying to dance along to it. A fun fact about the song is that when Shinsadong Tiger was called into a meeting with the CEO to check up on progress of the song, but he had procrastinated and had nothing, so during the meeting he spotted a roly-poly toy on the CEO's desk and made up the song on the spot LOL
"Lovey-Dovey" was their 3rd hit in a row (after "Roly-Poly" and "Cry Cry") and it had like 2 or 3 different MV versions or something? The shuffle dance became iconic and it was such a huge hit at the time. And LOL when you were bopping along and not noticing the zombies grabbing people in the club, you'd fit right in to that club XD

also, T-ara was really huge when I was in elementary school (early 2010s) in Korea

Wow, this was a whole bunch of nostalgia :O I remember these songs coming out and listening to them in the morning on the way to school when I was a young teen. By the way, Roly Poly by T-ara also has another version (''T-ara Roly Poly in Copacabana'') which I still listen to every now and then. I recommend checking that one out too because in my opinion that version is way more enjoyable to me ^^ (it also has around 30 mil. more views so I guess I'm not the only one xD)

WHOO!!!!! TBH I don't think anyone really LOVES Bo Peep Bo Peep as a song, but the choreo and outfits are iconic. You haven't yet watched any of the songs in the playlists apart from Day by Day and Sexy Love. Prewarning nearly all of the songs in the playlist will be prone to just getting stuck in your head and staying there; even if you don't necessarily love the song, you'll find it appearing in your brain as an earworm (speaking from experience lol) :) . - Karen

Roly poly is such a happy song that makes you want to dance and have fun. lovey dovey choreography is really cool I really like it, it was my first kpop dance that I learned back then.

The absolute waves of nostalgia coming from this video! Roly Poly was my phone ringtone for yeeeaaaars before I replaced it with Dumb Dumb by Red Velvet. It made such a good ringtone, I could never confuse it for someone elses phone ringing, and the song was a bit too boppy to go on my playlists so I would never hear it by accident.

Roly Poly by T-Ara and Shy Boy by Secret as well as Love is MOVE by Secret... (next to all 2ne1 albums tho...) were permanently playing in my bathroom routine every morning preparing for school :'D

Btw. i must agree on some comments saying the "small" Drama Versions of the Songs by T-Ara were really what's gotten me to like them a whooooole lot more. So if you've got some free time like 20~40 mins on your day, you could watch them privately hehe.

Funny you asked who choreographed these dances, because the iconic Bae Yoonjung (famous from PD101/48) took part in making most of T-ara's choreo, iirc. She was a genius when it came to creating signature moves hehe. Thanks for reacting!
actually she is not alone who create the choreo..she help out but mostly of grp dances choreo as a whole grp was made of hama & hotchick team include their was baeyoonjung and in rolypoly the main choreographer of that song was an old man dance instructor of the old days hehe

This really makes me want to go back to the hits of those days. It also makes me want to watch Invincible Youth again. Hyomin really grew through it. There's never been such a show that emphasised the genuine friendship and growth of every single iconic girl group of that generation I mean yuri, sunny of snsd, hyomin of t-ara, goo hara (rip) of kara, hyuna (4minute), narsha BEG, Sunhwa Secret, edited for caveat - sorry 2ne1 and wg (but weren't they over in the US attempting to crack into america at that time?)

I'm a t-ara fan since 2009.. bo peep is not in my fave list of their songs but I liked it just fine because it's cute and catchy😊😊 among these 3 songs lovey dovey is my fave...and is one in my fave list and me and my friend literally tried to Learn the choreo of lovey dovey and roly poly.. so sad because I'm really not a good dancer so I just enjoyed listening and watching haha😂☺️

My thing about Bo Peep is...i don't love it, personally. But it's so iconic that clearly a ton of people DO, so I think every kpop fan should check it out ;) and it do bop.

lol, seeing your reactions to the story versions of some of these music videos would have been fun. the BO PEEP BO PEEP music video is just one of the members hooking up with a man she meets in the club (which you wouldn't expect from the choreo and sound of the song) and the roly poly music video is a long, but cute retro friendship plot. definitely worth checking out in your spare time haha

All of these songs were almost more famous for the choreography than the songs or even the MV's. Bo Peep was their breakout hit. They are all just repetitive ear worms. The Lovey Dovey shuffle dance was my favorite.
