Just make sure you keep the bearings greased. I was a little surprised to see the solid metal caps on your Malone as I thought most trailer manufacturers had gone to the ones that have a removable rubber piece so you don't have to take off the entire cap to grease. I suggest checking out Bearing Buddies.
Hey buddy how's it going. I have been looking at Malone Trailer for a couple of years now. I need a Trailer to haul at least 8 kayak or a lil more. I have a Dealer like 150 miles from my house & I also like how the tires can run highway speeds. I am saving up the money to have the Trailer custom made the way I need it to be. Nice Trailer buddy you got. You definitely need this Trailer for all the Kayak you have too. Me trying to haul 11 Kayak in a pickup truck is Difficult to do.
Awesome trailer Aliex. That trailer looks extremely light. And the only thing I'll put in my cab is my fishing poles, my Bixpy, and my fin drive.I love my truck, and I'm always careful putting accessories in my cab, because I don't want to ruin it. That trailer is definitely on my list. You can set it up the night before, and pull it by hand, and hook up. 😎 🎣 🌊
Great Video! I have had a Malone MegaSport trrailer since 2019 when I purchased my PA14. We now have five kayaks in the family and the trailer is an absolute must and has held up quite well with no issues thus far. We did get the roller storage bin that fits under the load bars and it has worked out great for storing our extra gear.
Yeah I've been thinking of getting a trailer, thanks for doing a review and giving a good reason to get these. Thanks to Malone Trailers for supplying you with one to review for us
My Native Titan 12 being loaded by myself on top of a FJ Cruiser determined that a trailer was an absolute must. By it was more feasible to modify a boat trailer and build my own as my need wasn't just a kayak trailer. I wanted a War Wagon, hunting, fishing, camping or small invasion I'm heading to the woods and their gonna have to find me. LOL
Spare tire, lug wrench, small jack, 4x4 with an extra strap to wedge between the axle and frame incase you break a leaf spring. Trailer towing necessities.
I prefer top loading to using a trailer, just because a lot of nice spot around where I live dont allow for parking trailers (the main pro for kayak fishing Imo is the ability to access water without a boat ramp). But honestly, the best is having both options, because when it make sense, a trailer is way better.
A trailer is nice, but reason I kayak fish is the accessibility, I don’t have a truck and I can transport my yak on my roof, my kayak is easy to store and I don’t have a place to store a trailer
I bought a micro light for my Hobie PA14 1080 yes I sold the p127 it took forever I put a micro power pole on it next is to put a xi3 on the front trailer is the way to go the Hobie PA14 are heavy I like everything ready to go loaded 5 year warranty on the trailer
If i were to get a trailer,i would rather buy a big boat that is more comfortable than a kayak.the idea of getting a kayak is supposed to be quick and easy on the roof rack of a car.i had a few different brand of kayaks in the past thats including the heavy hobie kayak, and boats,i still prefere the boat anytime over kayaks. the jonh boat can go anywhere a kayak goes and easy to put on top of a car.The aluminium boat that i have weight less than fourty kg.
Great video... just subbed and pls check out my new channel! I just bought a Malone low bed w/ 2 bunks for my pair of Old Town Sportsman kayaks and just waiting for delivery! Looking forward to NOT having to stack them in the back of my truck! Thanks for sharing this awesome content!
Thanks Malone for providing the trailer package for videos, Check out the Malone MegaSport Trailer rig!!! geni.us/fgRW
I’m a firm believer that the PRO’s outweigh the CON’s when it comes to having a kayak trailer. Solid set up buddy!

I agree, having a trailer without bearing buddies is pointless. Sealed bearing still fail and it's so much easier just to pop a cap and add grease.

I have a converted boat trailer. Love it. I found 4” sewer pipe works better than bunks. Easier and takes less effort.

i just saw in the backyard, it looks amazing! cant wait to go the next adventure
Yes, it is essential. I just broke my transducer mount top loading my Old Town. A trailer is a must as soon as I can.

I bought the Malone kayak cart.
Excellent quality. Now to take it off roading. :-)
get the beach tires for it
Great review. I don't have a Malone trailer but a modified jetski and let me tell you that it is the best investment you'll make and avoid back pain.
Great video bro! Super informative and loaded with great visuals.
Awesome! Thank you!

Aliex. I'd like to see the bunks swapped out from carpet to the new ones. I'm wondering if they're better. I love my jet ski trailer
Nice review. Very practical.
Love your videos! Is the cargo container big enough to store the autopilot’s motor and battery?
yes but i would carry the battery in the autopilot, maybe hide it there for safekeeping after you reach your destination
Very nice trailer !!
Pabloooo where have you been? Lol hey a trailer would be nice for those 2 mks
Awesome review man maybe one day we can put a trailer in your hands to test out 😁
I hear great things about your trailers bro, what's your top reasons for kayak anglers to have a trailer ?
A trailer will make it easier to get on the water and already preloaded. You’re always ready to go fishing/kayaking.
You need a Polymate trailer for your Polymate Tuffy! Yep, plastic trailers!
What do you want to see next on this Trailer project?
Put some trash on it🤣
@@janezkovac6692 lol
Why a trailer? So you can park at launch ramps that ticket for single vehicle parking without trailer
Ain't that the truth! All those empty parking spaces some days!
Trailer>Roof top/truck bed... All day everyday!

Question on malone trailer: Do you have to take the wheel out to refresh the grease on the bearing?
If I'm dropping money on a trailer, I'd get an used aluminum trailer. I have no need for galvanized.

I'm so tired of the "kayak fishing is supposed to be " with bro, kayak fishing is what ever works for you
That's "your" idea, not everyone's.
