What an amazing video Chad and Gene. We really appreciate you all. We have learned if you wanna find flaws to your product.....give one to Chad Hoover lol. Everytime he calls I always ask what did you break lol. But I wouldn't change it. We strive to be the best and bullet proof, well you won't know unless you put it through hell. Thanks again guys!
I bought a Tourney Lite earlier this year. Best money I ever spent. Denny makes an amazing kayak trailer. My trailer will outlast me. Best advice I can give is buy the wench when you order your trailer. It makes a huge difference when loading and unloading on steep ramps.
Thank you for all the great ideas. I'm currently getting ready to build out a trailer for my perception outlaw with trolling motor. I've. Found a few ideas here that I intend to use.
Awesome video. This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. Thank you for your full demonstration of the trailers and comparisons. I appreciate what you two are doing to share improvements to one of my few escapes to reality.
Seeing the autopilot in the trailer reminded me. Are you planning a long term review of that boat? I’d be interested to see it. It’s on the shortlist of my new one’s next year.
Those trailers are really really nice, all bass ass set ups!!! Im on my second pro angler 12 in past 8yrs now. I've never had a trailer. It does look convenient though. I slide my yak in bed my truck then right before I unload, I insert my heavy duty cart. Then roll it down into the water from shoreline or ramp. I built a stand on big caster wheels at home with bunks that set level with my truck bed when my kayaks loaded. So I can slide in & out from my bed to my stand. I only lift my kayak 1 time per trip. Just to put it back in bed when I'm leaving. That way I keep my kayak 95% rigged at all times. Only time I remove stuff is when I'm doing maintenance or cleaning it. I go out 2times a well usually so cleaning it seems pointless most of the time...
Great info Chad awesome trailer video man you guys have some coin in your trailer i get it doing Tournament fishing. Hope all is well with you and Merry Christmas my friend.
Great walk through, I was fortunate enough to get the tourney lite just like your sons less the power pole brackets. I’ve been extremely pleased with it. I do I have a slayer Max that hull design doesn’t fit the bunks perfectly and the kayak will sometimes want to roll, mainly when loading. It is just a slight inconvenience most of the time, but I am thinking of adding a couple of carpeted bunk boards on the outside just to provide additional surface area to prevent the rolling.
Hey man great content as always! Have you considered doing a motor comparison video? Some of us out there are having the motor guide/torqeedo dilemma and would love to have an expert opinion. Thanks!
Have you ever made a video with a blue sky on his trailer, I’m on the list for August and trying to figure out what I need on it? Thanks and keep up the great channel you have 👍
Love those trailers, but I live in Maine and I don't think they would work for me, since I only go out a few times in the summer. But if I ever start doing tourneys, I might just have to get one.... Great video.
Hey Chad, I subscribed to your channel. Love the ratchet straps and that is one bad ass kayak, love the Army decal. What brand ratchet straps do you have and are they holding up knowing they go under water when launching, assuming they see salt water once in a while. Keep up the great videos.
Definitely nice trailers / back of pickup gets old quick . Trailer is on my list , when I upgrade kayak. Lots of nice features for sure ….Dink Drop Rules
Nice trailer. Questions. How long of a rod will the rod boxes hold? Do they selI just the rod box? Was looking at doing tubes but I would rather have the box.
The only thing I'd change, with you using the lockers instead of the tubes, you mentioned the lockers reflecting the light... If you need a little more light you could increase the brightness by painting the bottoms of the lockers white or silver.
He otta just keep on keeping on. Looks real good too me. Congratulations on working with your son .when u grow old u will look back and b able to reflect on family fun and I wish u could work your wife and daughter into it more. I still can’t get over him backing into that dumpster
Even if someone were to only go fishing 2 times a month, a trailer is a lifesaver. Best thing I've ever done was get a trailer for the kayak, granted not from OTWI, but still way easier on the body than dragging it off the top of the vehicle.
Love your videos but this might as well have been a podcast topic while showing the hosts in 90% of the video lol. Would have liked to see more of the trailers. Close ups. Trailers without the kayaks on them.
I would love a kayak trailer but there price range is just not obtainable for me nor do I have the tools or knowledge to alter a cheap trailer into one maybe eventually...
@@ChadHooverFishing when you were talking about your trailer, all we saw was your face not the trailer or the parts of the trailer that you were talking about. which for me was the whole pointless to see the trailer.

Ha! Thanks brother. That’s my job. 😜
We are excited to get ours coming soon. Can’t wait to do the walk through and might surprise all of you when I am done with it!!

As always an Awesome walkthrough. Maybe next give away might be one of those trailers all decked out. Thanks for all you do Chad!
Very nice! I'll have one of those someday to pull around extra yaks for FreedomSquad events with KBF
Great video, those trailer setups look awesome. That SS 127 setup is pretty sick!
Denny Romero is 100% quality focused. Hands down the best trailer made.

Great walk thru of the trailers. Actually converting a trailer to hold my kayaks. Lots of great ideas.
Nice overview!!! I am picking mine up in February!!! Looking forward to it. I ordered the double with the cross bars.
Really nice trailer. If I did tournament fishing, I would consider getting one.
Great video.
This video gave me more ideas for my trailer lol
I cant wait to order me one. I brother in law got his last December and he loves it.
Sure would like to see an aluminum version of the trailer for the saltwater masses.
Outstanding video...Thanks for the walk thu!!
Those are some real nice Trailers! I'm still roof topping my SS127 but maybe one day!
Those are very nice. In the process of turning my old Seaark trailer into a 4 yak hauler. There’s some great innovations to your trailers
Single trailer is super cool and the kayak too👍🏿
I picked up my double a few months ago and it’s has been the best trailer I have ever owned I love it

Love the trailers! Working on my own for a first time low money person. Will send some pictures when done if you would like?
Post them up in the Kayak Bass Fishing Group on Facebook
Great info Chad awesome trailer video man you guys have some coin in your trailer i get it doing Tournament fishing. Hope all is well with you and Merry Christmas my friend.
Excellent video Chad and Gene. I'm Interested in the size of your trailer. I have 3 kayaks I just have limited space. Thanks Steve

I just saw the truck pulling into the Hobbs Island area, I was so tempted to pull over and flag you down!
I'd like to see how you manually move the trailer around, especially when fully loaded.
Do you have a video of actually launching the kayak? Just curious if you back the trailer into the lake?
I have several that show how to launch it when not using the trailer to back in.

Chad, did you sell the single with the roll cage/rooftop tent setup?
Do you have any rigging boxes for fly rods, or do you just transport those broke down?

Can you let me know what rotating mounts the rod holders are on the black pack pro please!!
Do you store your kayak 24/7 all year on the trailer? Does storing your kayak on the trailer cause hull deformation and or void hull warranty?

How about taking advantage of the charging pin on a 7 pin connector to top off your batteries while driving down the road.
How much is a basic single trailer? I just bought a 10" Garmin ultra & Im going to add lvs34 what mounts & poles are you using on your live scope

I will have one of those one day, for now I just tried to copy what Denny has protected.
at 4:58 it looks like the rod tubes are sagging and in need of a middle mounting bracket.
Is this repeat, I remember a previous video
They should sell tons of the fluke master's trailer
I would love a kayak trailer but there price range is just not obtainable for me nor do I have the tools or knowledge to alter a cheap trailer into one maybe eventually...
Love love love mine
Guarantee that WAAAAAYYY out of my budget.
Was anyone else yelling at the camera man while watching to SHOW THE TRAILER lol......
less talking and camera on chad, more shots of the trailer
Cool thanks
And for saltwater? 🙄
You just need to rinse it and keep the bearings greased
Too bad we didn't get to see much of the trailer. The whole video was your face.
What part of the trailer did I not cover?
I was looking through the comments for someone to say this. I started to think maybe it was just me and I didn’t understand how they did their videos.
