Hi, I'm Victoria! I live with chronic illness and share my journey to healing. I work hard to raise awareness around illness and disability. I'm also a holistic health and wellness blogger, so I share my tips on living a non-toxic or low-toxic lifestyle, delicious and healthy food for those with intolerances or allergies, and how I balance healing with life. I hope you'll join my little corner of the internet :)

Thank you! Yes, I try hard to listen to my gut and what my body is telling me it wants and needs. Not always easy, but it's always right and when I do listen it pays off.

Good luck with treatments. I've been on IVIG for 10+ years. Its helped me more than I could say. I am in the process of a reduction once again to see if I can get off it. Its been rough at times but it has worked for my CIDP. I am on my second port. Make sure that the port is cared for and used correctly. IVIG and port manufacture have contacts that can advise on proper care and use of each. Stay positive and good luck.

@@AbuSaud0077 I improved with the first treatment some. But with each treatment I showed improvement. After several the improvement leveled off then it became more of a maintenance dose. My dose is .5 grams per kilogram body weight x 4 days. Every 3rd week. I have been on this dose for over 10 years. I tried a reduced dose but had problems within a few days. My foot drop improved but reflex did not. Still have numbness in feet and hand. But I can walk on my own. If I can help with any question just ask. I will try to explain the best I can.

I have SPS, and the Dr. says the protocol is either 4-6 or 6-12 weeks. It sounds like you're having one a week? How long did this last?

If your pathogen load is still in nooks and crannys then it makes sense that ivig will cause more symptoms going after them...

Yup, today at the doc they said I might be flaring up the Lyme which isn't necessarily bad, just need to stay on top of things

Awesome video I follow you on Instagram as well I was just wondering how do you cope with the fear of trying different treatment methods I don't know if I have Lyme yet but I do have all the symptoms of both Lyme and chronic fatigue syndrome so I love watching your videos but I'm terrified to try new treatments because I'm so sensitive to medications and even natural supplements so I was just wondering how you cope with trying different things and how they may affect you?

Such a great question! I often feel more excited then scared when starting new treatments (although I do get nervous) because i want to heal and find something that works. I'm more nervous when starting new meds and supplements. For me, it's best not to research too much and look at the side effects etc. before hand. I start something on a calm week and on a day when I know I can be at home to rest if needed. I usually do some anxiety reducing techniques or deep breathing before taking the new med/supplement or going in for the new treatment. I always give something 4-10 days (unless side effects are too extreme) because many times it's an adjustment period and I just have to kind of get through the uncomfortable first few days of a new treatment.
