Thank you Kristen. I was a cosmo for 22 years, granfathered into an advanced esthetic license, now going to school to get an esthetic license as i never worked on skin but i love it!!! Formulating and treatment plans interest me alot. Paying so much for school but truthfully not learning much. Im grateful to go part- time in the evening but paying so much for so little is a bummer.
Thank you for sharing. I know you’re not the only one who’s felt that way! Unfortunately there’s a lot of schools that only do the bare minimum. But I reassure you a lot of your knowledge will come afterwards from experience and continuing education classes

Wow, Kristen! Thank you so much for creating this video. I'm an esthetician of almost 10 years (solo for 4 years), and I've been in a funk about my career, on and off, for most of 2024. You've really gotten me back in touch with my love for our industry and how versatile it really is, especially for us moms of special needs kids 💛 As healers I believe we all have a divine calling to this industry, aside from how lucrative it can be when it comes to supporting our families. So, that's one of my biggest reasons to stay the course.
Thank you for this! It really did re-spark my inspiration to continue in this journey. I just graduated in May and I have yet to find a job in this industry. I recently made the decision to continue to work at as a phlebotomist, while I side hustle as an esthetician. My prayer is to go solo in the future but gaining a clientele, finding work at a spa etc really had me discouraged for a while. I even stopped watching Esthie videos for a while until now so I truly appreciate this video 🙏🏾❤
Every time I watch your videos, I feel so inspired! So thank you for that! But theres times when I feel like I need a push! Idk why I get so shy to ask my clients for before and after photos. It's on my policies, and they have to sign if they agree, but soemtimes I feel like they dont even read the polices. I graduated a year ago and made the mistake of going solo. I feel so stuck and lost. I'm certified in dermaplaning, but nobody wants to book. I'm struggling. Sorry for ranting on here, but I feel like nobody understands what I'm going through.

How do you land a job in a spa when your newly out of school? That has been the hardest part for me. I have been out of school for a year and still can't get hired anywhere. So I have tried going solo and it's been hard

I’ve been using acuity scheduling and Squarespace for a while now! Great ones to start with. But I am exploring others currently that I will share about soon :) stay tuned
