On my Dyna I am able to carry as much as my Dad does on his Road Glide with just a sissy bar bag, the Exfil 80 by Biltwell. The hard bags just don't hold as much because of the rigid shape.
I took the LRST on a test ride back to back with the new Road Glide last week and it’s such a tough call to choose one over the other. Both are great and now the price is pretty close as well. I think I like the new RG a little better due to all of the tech and performance in one package, but I really dig the LRST as well. Great bike. 👍🏾
Traded my Slim for a Street Glide. Both are cool but i miss the raw naked feel of the Slim for around town. I should have kept the Slim for hot rodding and bought a cheapy goldwing for longer rides
I went from a bagger to a Heritage Softail and I love it. I also have Lowrider S that I'm considering adding an Advanblack ST style fairing to. No more Baggers for me, but I can see a Road Glide 3 in my future.
So as a 6’3” person the Harley Road/Street Glide are small and cramped in comparison to some other machines, I just bought the RG Fast Johnnie and like the bike (need to make some ergonomic changes to make it more comfortable) but it is substantially smaller than my Indian Challenger Darkhorse (needed to get the +2 OEM seat for comfort), and feels smaller than the BMW K1600B. The Low Riders are really tiny
I traded in my 23 Lowrider ST for a 23 Road Glide ST. Best decision for me. Now sold the 23 and want a 24 RG! Everybody do whatever works for you. These videos are silly as are my comments. And I’m insane in the membrane obviously for taking time out of my life to type comments. 😂😂
2 are the cons for Road Glide, weight & suspensions.. But for Low Ride ST i can find more cons..small ugly bags, worst wind - rain coverage, better place for passenger , more choices for bags. Better sound system, navi. More storage places in front..etc So, RG 2024 is my choice..
Funny, I sat on a Low Rider ST recently... didn't care for it. Nothing wrong with the bike, but those mid controls are not for me, even with my limited height. I much prefer a bagger - more storage for Lego and cameras and stuff :D
Love the sound of your bike man what kind of exaust you got there. I ride a 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 GT yes its heavy but with is low gravity its easy to ride for its size i love it for the torque and for its 153 cubic inches motor or 2500cc of power, ride safe mate.

I got Leatherpros over winter and they’re awesome
@@IronBornRider I have been looking at those, really nice stuff

If I could only have one bike I might go with the RG because like you said it has all the latest and greatest, and the price point isn’t too bad
I absolutely agree with everything you said too. The LRST is a great choice if you don’t want the extra weight.

Buying cheap goldwings seems like it’s gaining popularity. Maybe that’s a bit of shadetree influence but I’ve thought about that route too.
@IronBornRider he's the man lol.
@@thelost_woods no arguments from me.Hes a real one
Your 5 reasons is why I bought the FXLRST initially instead of a full bagger.
Right on!

I’m also considering the st fairing from advanblack. Would be a good way to get a mini bagger lol
@@IronBornRider add the chopped hard bags from nasty bagger and we'd be set

Thanks! Appreciate you

Yeah even for me the low rider gets uncomfortable for me after a while
@@IronBornRider You need some highway pegs :D Or, forward controls! Or, a better/cushier suspension?

Thanks man! It’s a 2-1 tbr comp exhaust. I’ve never ridden the rocket but it looks like a blast to ride.
I just traded my 09 RG 96ci for a 17 FXDLS 117ci...
Nice! The og low rider s
If they would sell the same bike for around 13-14k theyd fly off lots.
Which mini floor boards do you have and are you happy with them? I looked for a video of yours talking about them but didn't find one. Thank you
I can't even remember what kind I got but you should definitely get some mini floorboards. It was a way bigger improvement than I thought it would be.
They’re from original garage - honeycomb mini floor boards. They’re excellent, light weight and great build quality.
I love the look of low rider and low rider st but being 6 foot 2 the mids killed me. I felt if I put forwards on it I would be big guy on little bike.
Yeah the mids help with that sportier feel but it sacrifices the comfort for sure
Love the videos man 👌
Thanks so much man!
