A professor once told me " Focus on what's possible in order to reach what's better. If you focus on what's better you'll break". I feel overwhelmed sometimes because of the family expectations and responsibilities but I guess I don't have to think too far into the future :) .. Also I am soo so happy for you regarding the TH-cam income 🌻 I'm glad to see quality content being rewarded to people who deserve it ❤️
1. There IS NO DREAM JOB. focus on doing stuff you like and are good at. if you don't particularly like anything, do general stuff and then start digging deep if it pleases you 2. your career is a group of different things. (yt + job + teaching). you can make your own dream career by doing multiple things that satisfy you tips: 1. start small. prioritize 2. be consistent 3. giving up doesn't mean failure. if you don't feel like it's the best for you, move on 4. don't place too much importance on a single choice
The dream career is the one you build! Great advice Tina! I think a lot of people could benefit from being more introspective about where they are, what they would like, and how they can bring those two things together over time.
My thought process changed from the idea of having a dream job to living a fulfilling life about 6 years ago now. I hope this video helps you all get there too.
After having one of the roughest weeks and questioning everything about everything, whilst feeling as if I could cry forever; this video was incredibly soothing to watch, you are such an Angel, thank you so so much 🤍
*Wall of text incoming* I needed to watch this video as it's very fitting for where I am in life. I'm 25 and always had a passion for technology and wanting to build things since I was a kid, namely videogames. This dream slowly died as I got older due to a lot of doubt and feeling like I wasn't good enough. I ended up going to college for social work because I thought tech would be "too hard for someone like me" even though I finished top 20 in my class in high school and got accepted to all the universities I applied to xD. I didn't even get through my first semester of college before I realizing "I hate this major". I told my parents and they basically forced me to stay because they were pulling out so much money to keep me in school (poor family... still don't know why they didn't just let me do community college tbh). Rough situation that led me to falling into some serious depression. I somehow pushed through and got my degree and as soon as I graduated I tried becoming a counselor. I still didn't like what I was doing but was WAY too afraid to face the truth since I invested 4 years into pushing through to get my degree. I eventually got counseling through my church that helped me with my mental health and the feeling of anger that I had towards my parents for not letting me change majors or schools. From there I quit my job and grabbed a random job at Whole Foods just to make some money. I was so lost and needed something to give me direction. Shortly afterwards, I met someone from my men's group at my church who's been doing full-stack web development for over 10 years and basically had a long talk with him about my interest in what he did. He told me through code you could build things like apps, websites, and even videogames and I was like WHAT I thought coding was only for the hacker Matrix type stuff lol. He pretty much set me up with the classes that I'm now taking, how to learn without making a lot of rookie mistakes (tutorial hell), and offered to be my mentor. Since then, i've been on the self-taught web development route and am finally choosing to take control of my life and career. Here's the goals I have set for myself in regards to what I want to do: - Get hired as a web developer for a company so I can get paid and still learn lol - Make an indie game and release it on Steam as well as other platforms if it does well - Content creation (TH-cam) - Teach classes on how to code once I get good, a lot of people in my neighborhood have really crappy education as well as little money so it would be nice to offer something like this to them. I'd also wanna release an online class through a place like Udemy! - Start my own business - Still use my skills that I have gotten in my degree and incorporate that into making a project or app that can help people with mental health issues/helping them to get their life on track TL;DR - Take control of your life and your career, it'll be so worth it when you find joy in the things that you do!
I feel like this is a video I needed to see. I'm a self-taught software dev who's been struggling a bit to find work, and I've been deciding whether or not I should go to uni and just get the degree and take on the debt I wanted to avoid getting. I keep teetering back and forth between "if I just put in some more effort and be patient I can finally land that dream FAANG job without the debt" and "nobody will even look at my resume without a degree so stop wasting time and just get the piece of paper." I definitely have big entrepreneurial aspirations that I've just been waiting to find the right idea for. Maybe it's time to just do it and see what happens.
As someone who started working recently: starts somewhere to get experience, and then apply to a top company. You'll learn a lot without and then you'll be ready to apply to a bigger company. Small companies are great for beginners because they really value personal growth. Good luck!
Your LinkedIn seems quite impressive to be honest. You should perhaps think about what position you want and start asking recruiters on LinkedIn what are the requirements to have a chance or you can also contact people who are currently doing that and ask them what they recommend to focus on.
@@davebalmada That's not bad advice. Never really tried using LinkedIn much for anything besides applying to job openings. I'll give it a shot, thanks!
To anyone reading this, here's some advice from someone who's been through making all the wrong choices with my studies and career: Know what you want. REALLY know what you want, and don't compromise on it. Stand up for yourself and know when to quit when things aren't working out. If you're uncomfortable around your colleagues, or if you feel like your work isn't want you hoped it would be, figure out how you can get out of that spot. I'll tell you now, it'll only end in misery. I wasted three years in what I eventually realized was a really toxic workplace and it absolutely wasn't worth it.
Thank you for this. That’s exactly how I feel, taking the time to make sure you’re making the best choice for you and not settling for something else (if you’re able to) is so worth it.
I was in the exact situation for three years, too. But when you suffer from anxiety and imposter syndrome, you're never sure if it's the workplace that is toxic or your brain that is overreacting. Plus, if you've always been miserable at any job you've been to, than something must be wrong with you - I think to myself. Anyways, currently unemployed, yes that work drained the happiness out of me but the anxiety of being unemployed and never being sure of WHAT I WANT is getting worse with each day. The longer I stay unemployed, the lower my expectations fall and this is a cycle that leaves me searching for any job I could get my hands to, which in return leaves me miserable. Dammit!
@@melnjada2 Hello, sorry to hear about the situation you are in.:) One little piece of advice, try to visualize your ideal self, what kind of work is that person doing? You need to see the big picture clearly at first (what would truly bring you satisfaction?), then figure out the steps to get as close as possible towards that vision. When working towards that vision, there will be A LOT of failure for sure. And I mean a lot. What's important is really sticking to working towards that goal, regardless of how many failures or hardships you go through (because after 99 failures, there will be 1 win). Also, it's absolutely ok to take breaks (in order to prioritize your health) as long as you get back to it. Having an ideal in mind that you believe in will bring you comfort when times are hard. It's important, however, to make sure not to compromise too much (i.e.do not give up trying to do what you really want, just because you don't believe you can do it), so you don't end up feeling miserable again. You can do it. You absolutely can do it.
So I graduated in May and started working June. I struggle for almost 5 months to enjoy my job. Luckily I work at a tiny startup so I took every opportunity to try new technologies. It was exhausting but when I finally found things I liked it was so worth it and all the burnout vanished because I was working on something that I enjoyed. I realized that if I don’t grab my career by the horns and make it mine, its all on me and no one else.
I cannot find the words to express how much did I need to hear all of that. I’m currently doing two undergrads, Economics and French philology, whilst being an aspiring singer-songwriter and everyday there’s that tiny bit of guilt and shame that I’m ‘distracting’ myself by pursuing all of these fields instead of specialising myself within one. Especially when there are ppl out there saying ‘man, you’re low-key wasting your time...’. The concept of dream job implies that there’s an ultimate and static goal in your life and I’m not willing to adhere to it. My goal has always been to be multidimensional, have an impact and grow every day, so thank you for ensuring me that it’s a valid way of living🥰
Woooooow I needed this. Especially the bit about 'moving on isn't failing'. I'm interested in so many things and the amount of things I haven't 'finished' had been weighing on me. Thank you
I totally feel like throughout all of college and high school, i was just so UNSURE and scared to commit to one role/career path. So much so that I just never made a decision. Now I have a degree in psychology and work in special education. I feel deeply that I need to pivot and take on a different type of role in a different industry lol With that said, thank you so much Tina. Your tips and your story have really inspired me :)
I am sure many of them on the verge of starting their careers get to watch this video and understand that designing their own career goals and working towards them every day is the only DREAM that is going to be fulfilling, achievable and definitely worthy. It is at times overwhelming that I want to work around my passion for writing, my enthusiasm for Data Analysis, my love for languages. But after watching this video, it only confirms my validation that I can do things that I love doing at my pace and keep gaining the required skills. Thank you for this one.
Self-employment. Start your own company. Everything you do accrues to your wealth. It's certainly mores stressful and the hours seem longer (but not if you enjoy what you do).
If you are blessed to life in the first world, you have the freedom to do whatever you want, there are plenty of opportunities and zero excuses. Like Gary Vee said: try as much as you can to figure out what you like. You have to create your dream job, just like you have to create yourself.
The first few words of your comment are exactly what I was thinking. For those who aren't that blessed, it's still possible, but the margin for error is much narrower.
I rarely comment on video’s but I just wanted to say, your video’s have helped me so much in terms of collecting my thoughts and figuring out what I want to do instead of what I feel like I “need” to do. I’ve watched countless data science YT channels as well as a number of self-helpish channels and I have to say, your channel is the only one I come back to on a regular basis because the content is so great. Authenticity and genuine curiosity really shines through a lot of the bs on YT and the internet in general, its really easy to figure out if someone is truly trying to express themselves or just trying to push out random clickbait content and your channel definitely feels genuine. Keep up the great work, Tina! Every video notification = instant dopamine rush ❤️
Tina, you are probably the most wholesome and lovely youtuber I watch and it's always a joy to rewatch. I always leave feeling inspired and go and do something. Thanks!
I just discovered your channel, I’m 19 and a uni student, and im also doing computer science, I really needed this, im gonna check out more of your content! glad there are people like you on the TH-cam community
Thank you so much for this advice! The last one "Not taking life too seriously" is so true.. Thinking that everything is so important and crucial really puts a lot of pressure that doesn't even have to be there
Honestly you are so inspiring. It's great to see women in tech. I sometimes feel really lost and overwhelmed by the decisions I have to make in life. And I have no clue where my life is going and I feel like I should have figured it out. I was really burned-out lately but advise like this keeps me going. I don't have to decide everything. Just the next step and it doesn't need to fulfill everything I want but just enough for me to be happy.
I'm at a point in my life where your videos have been resonating a lot with what's going on and you, speaking about your trajectory, bring me a sense of peace and calm so thank you for that!! +1 sub
The timing and degree to which this resonants with me, at this moment in time, is uncanny. The way you crystallized certain concepts was incredibly helpful, and I'll definitely be thinking about these things in the days and weeks to come -- thank you!
Hey Tina, another great presentation on some great topics. I took a five year hiatus from the business and upon returning was blown away by the changes, advancements, etc... I love your channel and your style. My biggest tip to YOU would be, learn when to disconnect/decompress. This, is the toughest thing for an entrepenur mindset yet the one thing you need to continually remind yourself of. Burnout, is real and the toll it takes can be significant. I absolutely LOVE all the irons you have in the fire and your passion for discovery and learning. Keep it up, keep sharing the journey. Thank you.
The fact that you have a job, continuously work on your side hustle and learn new things is inspirational. Might be too personal of a question, but how do you manage to find any down time?
My issue is the future of Analytics and Ai? Data Engineering? That is what I am focusing on now. I keep hearing 'ad nauseum' that ChaptGPT and other AI tools will destroy my job, etc
I literally just started reading Atomic Habits, very good book. And I must say this video is such a great input to that, this title is exactly what I am struggling with right now. Really grateful for this content, thank you.
I don't know why but I had developed this prejudice about you that you were one of those efficiency and productivity-maximizers despite all its deficits. But now I have realized that you aim is more to foster a space where balance, passion, and discipline can come together.
Tell me why this has been on my mind STRONGLY for the last week and you just uploaded this! Thanks for showing how I can find fulfillment in different things I touch to curate my dream career! Love this
having begun a new journey recently after an old one ended, I often think that my progress is coming along very slowly, and I don't see the end of the tunnel. but I also realize that perhaps there is no end. perhaps it is a continuous cycle of learning, applying, sometimes failing and sometimes succeeding. I appreciate your insights, and these videos do help me along the way. Thank you.
That's exactly me, I also struggling with overthinking stuff which makes me only more depressed and lead me to procrastination. I need to reduce the importance I put on my decisions because there is no one good anyway. I wish everyone focus on doing rather than overthinking.
I could say for sure, you are one of the most relevant youtuber I ever watched. I like your content with a lot of practical things that can improve our daily life. Keep going!
There absolutely is a dream job. I know because I've been doing mine for the past seven years. However, just because you landed your dream job doesn't mean you should do it forever. Even if you're having the time of your life, if you're not learning new things, then you're not growing. Your priority for your job/career shouldn't be about having fun; it should be about continuously building your skill set. If that's no longer happening at your job, it's time to get a new job!
It indeed requires guts to admit that you will never have a "dream job" coz even if you reach that stage, your dream will change in an instant and you're back in the chase. Choose a "dream standard of living" instead. You'll be much more grateful and most importantly, choose your "dream standard of life" coz that's what counts the most and we tend to forget it very quickly. 🐢🐢🐢 Rant over. Peace ✌🏻🕊️
Thanks so much for the high-quality video. It essentially gives me the guidance I need and makes me think about my ultimate career goal vs. current / next job. Sometime I feel the future is quite uncertain. I agree I can never find a dream job, but I might formulate the career success into different sub-goals, and track the regression towards final goal.
we are alike in so many ways, i like many things but i've never been excellent in ONE specific thing, i want a life worth living (bc why bother staying otherwise). i was - and still am - very lost and afraid right now and i don't know yet what i expect from life but watching your videos really motivated me to try to do my best everyday, not necessarily for my job aspirations but for my career (i liked the way you defined it by the way). i think your videos are what made me realise that there is much more to life than just the job we choose. i will be completely honest and admit that i am still very much afraid of life and the difficulty it seems to be and most of the time i struggle finding the will to put so much effort in a life that doesn't seem so rewarding but i will try to my best (to be noted that i suffer from depression and other mental illnesses so don't absorb my perception and make it yours, you who read that comment ^^). in any way, i wish you all a good life
Jobs Vs Career! Thank the gods someone gets it! Your jobs are servicing clients. They can dare think they own you. They don't. No more than you own that mechanic or doctor. You employ them to help you with something you don't want to do or can't do. Are you limited to one job role or can your skill base encompass so much more? Income per job type is how it is valued to that client or restricted to what is held within that wallet or purse. Remember: someone could easily underbid you for that note. You can try and cherry pick your clients and promise to add value with a good service agreement.
The takes from this video are quite useful, considering that the concept of career has drastically changed over the years. My father used to tell me that we have the opportunities and flexibilities he couldn't even dream of when he was my age.
I think the only dream job comes if I create it. Making my own company is something i wish to do. Reality is harsh and someone needs to pay the bills so work is work no matter what.
Love this video. I wasn't aware all this time a career is something I need to look into, not just a good job. It's true that jobs in the past serve as stepping stones for a good career.
I have a pretty good data scientist job but with covid and remote work I'm not enjoying it anymore so I'll quit and do something else for a bit, go back to school and try out new things. We will see how it will work out and I know it won't bomb my career. Better find some motivation now than go through a giant burn in a year or 2.
Someone once told me, passions don’t exist. If you start with find your passion, as if it’s something that’s out there waiting ready made for you, you’ll never find it. A passion is built from experiences gained. I grew up wanting to be a firefighter but I became a nurse. I didn’t grow up wanting to be a nurse and definitely didn’t have a passion for it when I was training. But I wanted job security, something I could always use to earn an income wherever I am in life. Over time I discovered aspects of the field that played to my strengths as well as other areas of life that do or that I find interesting. Music, finances, gardening. I’ve learned that whatever you decide to do, you’re not always going to enjoy it. So squeeze out those times where you do. For me in my field, this was always when there was a tricky clinical problem to solve. This tended to occur most when I worked in large hospitals and rehab hospitals and almost never in nursing homes. So I gotta chase those opportunities to play to my strengths and the aspects of the field that I truly love. For now tho because I’m so in need of a long brake, I work in horticulture. This I didn’t anticipate, but I’m gonna take what I can from the experience.
11:50 Haha that was me, I procrastinated a lot prior to starting my own TH-cam journey. Inspiring video Tina! Glad to hear that you’ve built a dream career for yourself and that your on track to perhaps a full-time TH-camr job :)
Thank you so much Tina for creating this video. I finally found someone with the same profession and someone I could relate to. Your videos help me so much to move forward in life.
What you're saying from 9:13 is amazing to hear Tina! You deserve it. I came across your channel a while ago when you had a few thousand subs and now you're almost at 200k. That means your content adds value and your audience will grown organically. Just a matter of time before the YT revenue will support you completely :)
WAIT YOU DID BIOINFORMATICS!!!! I’m studying Molecular Biology as a Bachelor now and Bioinformatics intrigued me so much that I started learning to code and it’s so interesting and so much fun. But now I’m also keeping an eye on computer science as a whole haha. Anyways I was just positively surprised that you didn’t just start in data science, but that it was a process for you. Gives me hope for my process too haha
I like what you said about being able to adapt Tina, because that's what we are! 🙌 Our brains isn't fully developed when we came out into this world. That's one great skill to develop because this may sound cliché, but the only constant in life is change. So as Bruce Lee said, "Be like water, my friend". 😁
2:40 OH MY GOD I RELATE TO THAT TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HARD and I've always been worried being interested in the 'wrong' thing Thank you for making this video!
One of the trickiest pieces of advice someone can give to us is to persuade this myth called "dream job", there's no such thing as that. As you said, we need to find a job who fulfills our needs (like paying our bills) and who is not awful enough, and at some point, we start became really good at it and it this starts brings us some kind of joy. At this point, we can feel that's the right job they mentioned about.
Thanks Tina for making the share concrete and touching! I’m preparing to transfer job from a research position to data scientist and I do have many doubts and questions for myself. What you said, gain the skills to become confident with yourself, truly knocked the door of my doubts. One thing I noticed is that you mentioned quite some books. I would be really interested in listening to your story about “reading habit”
When someone explanation matches your thinking that is really effective to gather advice from that person. I really appreciate your knowledge sharing. thank you. Hope you explain the reality that you face in your learning process.
So relatable and feels very achievable based on how you break it down. I love how you say to just start simple. I think sometimes attempting multiple streams of income in the way you do to balance creativity (to satisfy self growth) and also maintain stability (with full time job) is what we all want but get scared of die to overthinking. I’m so glad i subscribed to your channel. Love the content
I think i'm falling in love with Tina, but jokes aside, right now in my life i'm going through a phase i'm not a good software developer and not a good data scientist from the choices i have made, I have worked for the past 3 years in the industry but no one gave me such a solid advice. Thanks you so much
This the first time I'm watching someone on TH-cam that has soooo similar struggles like mine! Thankyousomuch this video has helped so much in figuring out some of those problems.
Listening to your thoughts is delightful in so many degrees! Thanks for sharing!! I will be digging up through your reflections, dreaming in fact is a relevant key point, either for the bad or the good, or even both at the same time.
Thank you, your content is awesome. I know I'm in the right place when viewing because you always mention stuff I think and feel, as well as speak. People think I'm a mad man lol: financial, freedom, adapt, move on, etc. I'm not alone on being "crazy" 🤪. 2-5 years, idk 🤷🏻♂️ I wanna be free and happy
I resonate so much with you Tina! I feel so connected to every point you elaborated. Thank you for this video! This is one of my favourite TH-cam channels.
Woow.. I won’t comment so much on the content itself, like the great reference to the atomic habits book which I personally use like a bible or the fact that I’m sync with you about what great time it is to be alive with so much freedom and free information to help us choose our careers. I’ll just say that for me this is the most mature video you’ve done so far and your improvement in the content since you started the channel is showing up. As with everything, you can always tell if a person enjoys what they’re doing and that’s crystal clear about you and youtube! You’re shining! So well done and you totally deserve becoming successful on youtube through this channel!
I recently discovered your channel and I really like it. I'm currently doing my bachelor's degree in CS. I never really thought about what to do in the future or what kind of job I want to do. I just choosed computer science because I thought it's pretty cool and now I'm stuck what I really want to or love to do. It's so hard for me to figure it out. I actually searched my future job based on highest salary and future demand. But your video really changed my mind. So I will continue explore to see what I really want or love to do...😀Thank you so much for your advice and love you a lottt....❤️
Hi, thank you so much for your insights. I was about to breakdown because i felt lost for a moment with all the people around me vying for that competitive positions in my industry. I realized that that was not me, I dont think i am meant to focus on just one industry. Like many folks here in the comment section, I, too want to dabble on different things that interest me.
Loved the video. I've been watching your videos because I'm exploring if I should try for a career in tech, and then this video came up and it's perfect for my situation right now. I really liked your approach, very realistic. Subscribed!
I work as a nurse and felt like my job was eating me whole as a person. I don't let my job be my identity, but it made me so tired that I stopped doing other things in life. It started to feel like my job was forcing itself in and pushing everything that makes me feel like myself out (consuming me). Like, "hahaha you will be so tired that all you can do is eat, sleep, and be a nurse!" So today I woke up and had that realization. I was deciding to learn Python in my free time as a way out potentially, but it was very directionless. So now I'm learning to make a game in Unreal Engine.
I tried trading bots, day trading, found I do better making trades on the hour time scale. I got my first job where there is some coding in the job, but there are other non coding task in job. I started back in 2011 trying to cultivate multiple streams of income. Nothing has panned out. I didn't have clear goals. Didn't know TH-cam could help by posting videos regularly. But with coding I'm going to take the entropunarial route and try building web pages with html, cos and python.
Dream job exists. It involves detachment from society and the rat race, finding a clean water source and building a wooden cabin close by, and living off the land in harmony with nature and pursuing higher truths of existence.
Omg I randomly clicked on this and Im in master school right now with goal to be a data scientist. I used to want to be a doctor and I realizes that a career is a career
A lot of the things you talk about resonated with me. I have a good target for my next career move. I’m planning on going from pharmaceuticals to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Not overwhelming myself is key, I think.
Yes, this is what I needed. I’ve taken so many test and I realize there is no dream job. My dream job is laying on the beach lol I’m switching from health administration to tech.
A professor once told me " Focus on what's possible in order to reach what's better. If you focus on what's better you'll break". I feel overwhelmed sometimes because of the family expectations and responsibilities but I guess I don't have to think too far into the future :) .. Also I am soo so happy for you regarding the TH-cam income 🌻 I'm glad to see quality content being rewarded to people who deserve it ❤️
Why did you stopped posting math videos ?
@@hikaryagravity Oh it was one video for school ( a very bad one Haha )

TL;DR - Take control of your life and your career, it'll be so worth it when you find joy in the things that you do!
Have you applied to any companies?
As someone who started working recently: starts somewhere to get experience, and then apply to a top company. You'll learn a lot without and then you'll be ready to apply to a bigger company. Small companies are great for beginners because they really value personal growth. Good luck!
@@allanina Small companies are how I started out. I've got about 4 years of experience now, but it still doesn't seem to be enough for most companies.
To anyone reading this, here's some advice from someone who's been through making all the wrong choices with my studies and career:
Know what you want.
Thank you for this.
This is a great message, every person's path is unique and too often is influenced by just following other's decisions
“Maybe you don’t know what to do with your life when you grow up, but, you’re already grown up..” Jesus Christ my heart
I feel deeply that I need to pivot and take on a different type of role in a different industry lol
With that said, thank you so much Tina.
+1 sub
This was needed years ago. 30s former Comp Sci dropout and lost in an 11 years career in the wine industry. This is certainly applicable.
Thank you.
Thank you Tina
2:39 I actually thought the background noise was a part of the background music. X'D
3:42 It's not greed; you're giving yourself what you need!
Rant over. Peace ✌🏻🕊️
"dream standard of living and life" is definitely more important than a job
Thanks so much for the high-quality video. It essentially gives me the guidance I need and makes me think about my ultimate career goal vs. current / next job. Sometime I feel the future is quite uncertain. I agree I can never find a dream job, but I might formulate the career success into different sub-goals, and track the regression towards final goal.
Finally I found this video that I have been looking for
Thank You Tina, It was so helpfull for me and other thousand people
we are alike in so many ways, i like many things but i've never been excellent in ONE specific thing, i want a life worth living (bc why bother staying otherwise). i was - and still am - very lost and afraid right now and i don't know yet what i expect from life but watching your videos really motivated me to try to do my best everyday, not necessarily for my job aspirations but for my career (i liked the way you defined it by the way). i think your videos are what made me realise that there is much more to life than just the job we choose. i will be completely honest and admit that i am still very much afraid of life and the difficulty it seems to be and most of the time i struggle finding the will to put so much effort in a life that doesn't seem so rewarding but i will try to my best (to be noted that i suffer from depression and other mental illnesses so don't absorb my perception and make it yours, you who read that comment ^^). in any way, i wish you all a good life
Jobs Vs Career!
I really like the animated pumpkin in the background
2:40
OH MY GOD I RELATE TO THAT TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HARD
and I've always been worried being interested in the 'wrong' thing
Thank you for making this video!
I’m actually doing this currents , the things you mentioned at the end and it’s been working for me for the past 7 months now
Thank you for all kind words and advices! We are geateful to have you!💕
One of the trickiest pieces of advice someone can give to us is to persuade this myth called "dream job", there's no such thing as that. As you said, we need to find a job who fulfills our needs (like paying our bills) and who is not awful enough, and at some point, we start became really good at it and it this starts brings us some kind of joy. At this point, we can feel that's the right job they mentioned about.
Gosh! I have never seen a TH-camr that I relate to as much as you! Thank you for this!
It’s crazy to think that just a year ago you had 170k subscribers
I feel happy for you that finally your TH-cam channel generates income 😊
thank you tina
Wow I really needed to hear everything you said in this video! Thank you!
Thank you Tina. I now have a fresh perspective towards life:)
So relatable, I have been struggling with the same 🥺🥺 for many years. Thank you ☺️
Thanks Tina for making the share concrete and touching!
Tina. I love you, u always hit the nail on the head. What u said at 12:10 was speaking right to me 🥺
200k in a bit!!! 🎉
"your job is not your career" - that was something new!! me likey🤗🤗
love this. Been coding for almost 2 months now and the exploration definitely keeps me focused in life right now. Your videos help so much!
One of the most eye-opening video I have watched lately, thank you Tina!
This is really a great way to look at career..you saved me from a big misconception of mine related to this ..
You are one gorgeous person! Gorgeous in your thinking ,perspective and ofcourse, looks as well!
Thankyou!!
Tina, if (or when) you go full-time on TH-cam, can I be first on your list to be interviewed to be your 'Hype Man'?!? #MyDreamJob
Hhahahhh ❤️❤️🌼
Thank you for that video Tina you helped me a lot.
If you want to go all out on TH-cam, we are always there to support you, Tina.
Oh wow thank you ❤️❤️
I love you Tina. You always told me what I want to hear. You are my ideal mom.
I want to have a mom like you!
Thank you. As if this video contains the answers I was looking for. Job job job career unemployment . I almost went crazy.
Thank you for sharing! I’m on a conservative path as well, but I really do admire people who risk it for things like art and other passions :D
Thank you so much. I really needed to hear all of that today! Sometimes obvious things are the hardest to figure out
Omg I randomly clicked on this and Im in master school right now with goal to be a data scientist.
I used to want to be a doctor and I realizes that a career is a career
A lot of the things you talk about resonated with me. I have a good target for my next career move. I’m planning on going from pharmaceuticals to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Not overwhelming myself is key, I think.
I know where is my passion is. I can't find my time for it.
Thanks Tina💖
Yes, this is what I needed. I’ve taken so many test and I realize there is no dream job. My dream job is laying on the beach lol I’m switching from health administration to tech.
youre so inspiring. Thank you Tina!
I love that you are at the point where you could almost live off your TH-cam income! that is one of my goals as well!
