I watch lots of unboxing videos, and this is by far the nicest scrap bag I've seen. Of the 10 pieces, there are six that I love, two that are OK, and only two that I would never use so really, that's a fantastic ratio of "love" to "don't love" on something bought sight-unseen. The autumn leaves on black is by far my favorite piece, and the blue galaxy and purple with Swiss dots are fighting tooth and nail over second place LOL. The price is very good, too. Congrats on the great score!
The hidden danger of these scrap bags is - each piece is an inspiration ! Then you go looking for MORE fabric, at your local shop to complete the project ! ! ! ! I used a similar fabric to the "Galaxy" print to make linings for satin and velvet Gypsy/Wizardry/Fairy/Festival handbags with lots of embellishments. Embellishments - a whole other danger zone ! I mainly make colorful children's clothing, doll outfits, stuffys, handbags, assecories and quilts. These pieces work for all of that.
I haven't ordered from FQS but I have ordered from Sew Yeah. Theirs is higher in price but I actually got yardage. Not disappointed. Will definitely will order when back in stock. Ty

That is a great idea. My mom taught me how to embroider on a similar style print so I might do that. These pictures remind me so much of the drawings she used to do.
I had to pause your video halfway through to go hunt down the Lori Holt Granny Chic pattern. I do embroidery, and omg....what FUN it will be to embroider on that!! I found it on Etsy, and the seller had a ton of other fun fabrics. Now I'm $50 poorer, and I don't know whether to thank you or curse you. Eh, I'll thank you lol. Lots of fun winter stitching in store for me, thanks again. :)

I love seeing what you received, all those bigger pieces is great. I like the fall leaves and the blue pieces. I think it was a good price considering fabric is up to twelve dollars in some places for a yard. Good find.
I ordered one of these bags. Let’s just say you scored. Half of my bag was different shades of green, none of these had selvages. I had a beige piece that had been sewn and unpicked from something. I had a solid purple piece. I had 3 small print pieces that were not good quality. I was disappointed but I’ve watched other videos like yours and haven’t seen one as bad as mine.
I have ordered a few in the past and found them to be a waste of money. And I don’t think there is any excuse for the way the fabric is shoved into the bag as if it was rubbish. So badly crumpled. I am glad you are happy with yours, but I won’t be buying any more.

You are so right! I was at my local quilt yesterday looking at some fabric thinking “this will go great with the leaf fabric in my scrap bag”.
