I am a big fan of the Audi S8. However, I like their earlier styling say around 2018-19. This is bland compared to some of the earlier models. Other than that, they are total luxury and a beast to drive.
The 2012 - 18-19 Audi's are all too homogeneous across the lineup. The new grille is finally adding some distinction. Saw an S4 with the 3.0 and manual the other day, but assumed it was an A3 with some appearance options and exhaust mod like most Ive ever seen. Its one thing to have a refined and stealth/sleeper design, but they shouldn't be hiding amongst their own ranks.
Idk what’s more appalling that half of the comments is educating us that any car except Honda and Toyota are a sin or saying anything positive about the car and getting buried down by people who acts like inspector gurus on unreliability score for any cars they don’t love or own

This car is extremely German. Which means it's extremely appealing, for a while. Until it starts to degrade. These things depreciate faster than almost anything else out there. Except for electric vehicles of course. Separately, really dislike this trend of American reviewers offhandedly referring to a hood as a bonnet. Knock it off

So glad those black brake calipers are included. Otherwise I wouldn't of bought one. But really?, radar cruise optional and part of a $4,000 package on a $120,000 base price car? MotoMan would say "Let's fix that."
Last of the true German F segment car, true quality. Mercedes S class and Bmw 7 series cann't compete anymore in the quality and build departement. This Audi is the last of its kind.... . Only Lexus LS is better ....the best.
If I had that much money to spend on a flagship I’m probably going Genesis G90. Powertrain and traction management aside, the S8 just isn’t interesting enough at $150k. It looks to similar to the rest of Audi’s sedan lineup. Secondly the backseat setup is seriously disappointing. It feels 10 years behind the competition if not more. Why are the cupholders so small? Where is the rear wireless phone charger? An infotainment system? Why are the seat controls on the door and also on the console? No wine/beverage chiller? And why…please tell me why there is SOO MUCH piano black plastic on their $150k flagship?! Aluminum, smoked chrome, micro suede, alcantara, carbon fiber, etc…surely there was a better option! It feels more like a gussied up Passat with a bunch of gimmicks when it should be knocking on the Panamera’s door.
Audi is my favorite brand. It's just out of my budget range.
at this point it is out of 99.9% of the human races budget range.
no physical buttons will seriously hurt a lot of brands and audi is on top of the list

The fast EV depreciation is nearly behind us. Prices have stabilized a lot in 2024.
