I think what also makes The City of Olympia section so great is that it's just pure, 100%, uninterrupted gameplay. Sure, there are a few cutscenes here and there, but they're not super long and never too intrusive in all honesty. For the most part, it really does feel like it's just you and the game with nothing to hinder your experience, and you're constantly getting new stuff thrown at you to play around with. It's one of those sections that really shows how much the developers prioritized gameplay and having fun over anything else. Yeah, there are other sections in the game and the GOW series as a whole that are like this as well, but in my opinion, The City of Olympia is where it feels the most apparent. No overly long cutscenes, no dragged out walking segments... nothing. Just an area where you get to let loose and have fun. This is what gaming should be all about. Anyway, this was an incredible ranking video, Zesty! You should be proud. It's honestly amazing how the content you make is one million times better than pretty much anything that Hollywood puts out these days. Hope you do videos like this for the other GOW games sometime in the future. I'll be all here for them!

The 2nd visit to the caverns is really nice but the second the 25m long scorpion pops up my enjoyment of the game plummits to depths previously unimaginable. There is no redeeming quality for him. It doesn't even have good music. Also I found out the other day that you can just jump over his grab/instakill bullshit attack. Makes the fight slightly easier
Jumping? Over that shitty hitbox? That's a risk we're not planning on taking. Just wait for the Bad Boss episode. It's sad that a boss like this replaced Stheno the last gorgon sister. Just sad. I still say try your best to master the fight. Don't let it turn you off from the game, as the game's combat gets miles better from that point on (The Labyrinth, Underworld 2, and Zeus).
