Been waiting for a year, the mini is ok 👌, but the air 2s successor has been keeping me from purchasing the mini 3 pro for a while. So stoked!😮
ye, that 70mm cam is gonna be nice. But ngl, ima just gonna save up for the Mavic 3 pro. The Air 3 has a smaller sensor than the Air 2s and only has sides, front/back, and bottom sensors.

The more aggressive the angle of the prop does not give you more speed or stability, it gives more air resistance so the rpm can be reduced for the same effect, so it is only for autonomy but make a few more decibels 👍

Not gonna lie, that snow is looking very refreshing right about now.
For the price of my DJI Mini 3 pro, this is a ripoff. To get the RC with the screen, You have to pay £1,300.
Kinda annoyed that 2 months after I bought the DJI Mini 3 Pro, they put it on sale for £769 though.

The bigger problem is without an adjustable aputure you will have to use ND filters. Ok so what? The two lens are different max aputure. Ok so what? Your exposure will be different when you switch between lens. Ok so what? You will have to either adjust ISO or land and adjust your ND filter. Super annoying.

Except the picture quality is much better than the Air 2S. That’s the result of having a stacked sensor.

well dude, dont forget to install gimbal lock (hardware) to maintain the gimbal, when i see your full of camera stuff bag and i spot the air 2s not using the gimbal lock its kinda broken hearttt. that's it WUATB

it's 200g heavier, it's also bigger, so not really a good comparison. I also cannot use it with my existing controllers. it's also louder.

This is not an Air2s replacement. It's an upgraded Mini 3 Pro. The 1/1.3" sensors the Air 3 uses are what the Mini 3 Pro uses and is noticeably lower quality than the 1" sensor in the Air 2s. I'll wait for the next Air series drone that has a truly pro camera sensor.

What about 360° obstacle avoidance? Also, with the Mini, wind resistance is a problem but the resulting footage itself is never shaky (on my Mini 3 Pro)
These are probably my biggest 2-3 gripes. We need 360 avoidance in a drone of this size. The one drone I crashed here was because I crashed sideways

Not super excited about the air3. I have an air2S and a mini 3 pro. The dual sensor idea is great, however, 1/1.3" is the same as the mini, the full 1" sensor on the air2S is still much better than the mini 3 pro, so I suspect the air3s videos / photos will be similar to the mini 3 pro.

Air 2S have massive crop anything beyond 4K 30fps :( my biggest purchase regret. Hope upcoming Air 3 doesn't get one!

I think the Mavic Air 2 and Air2S take the place of what the Mavic line used to be while the Mavic 3 has taken the place of the Phantom

I was a user of the Parrot drones for a while, the Bebop and the Anafi. Then they announced that they were going commercial, so I spoke to them for a while before they agreed to send me the new Anafi Ai drone, I find it a lot better than DJI's stuff.

Everything you see that comes on this Air 3 model, will be available on the next Mini Model, but it will still be below the 250g threshold. I don't understand this product line.

@@XploreAzof course better tech will keep coming. But before you spend another 1-2k, you want to feel like you're upgrading. The cameras upgrades are too small this year.
If you were buying your first drone, then sure mini pro 4 and air 3 are good choices. Just not good upgrades.
@@whotshisface I have the Air 2S and bought the Air 3. The Air 3 has a better camera plus much longer flight times and waypoints. I consider that an upgrade.
@@XploreAz no doubt. Just not enough difference for me to spend that kind of money yet. The thing is these guys release drones every few months. I personally can't justify buying them all.. I've got to be selective.
