Like a human baby will suck on anything nipple shaped. You can put pebbles and berries in the nest and a cookie which will do the same thing to them.

Well the cuckoo bird I know about. But in my 30 years of life and being an avid bird lover , I’ve never ever heard of the term “ poop sack” nor know wth it is . But I guess it’s like a way of cleaning the newborns , such as a mother dog or cat will do when cleaning their infant offspring .
