Hey there, Do you know how we I as an international medical student can get visa and find sponsorship to conduct our medical research at USA ? Especially NY or MN states For example between 2023 and 2027 years
Hello, there is a research opportunity that has presented itself with an application due by the end of this month. I am a Non-US IMG applying to step 1 exam soon (hopefully before the P/F change). I'm aiming to apply to the Match 2023, and seeing that all the other aspects of the application are still pending (Including step 2, OET and step 3), would it still be advisable to take up the research (which demands commitment from March 2022 to March 2023) simultaneously for the purpose of CV building? Thank you for any help :) I'm conflicted because I understand how difficult it is to match into any of the clerkship or research programs without contacts/networks for someone starting out newly. Would it be a bad idea to let this opportunity go?
Research certainly will not harm your application, definitely a plus. However, scores and USCE is much more important so as long as those are not compromised you can go for it
never give up
Absolutely
