Get the runners/trainers off the field. They should be on the side line like they used to be. It boggles my mind that they were ever allowed to be on the filed in general play. If a player needs a drink that bad, sub them out for a rest.

When I played the game in the ealry 70’s you got a drink at half time and that was it. NOBODY was allowed onto the field without the Ref’s permission and that would only be given if there was a serious enough injury that the Ref stopped play. Fair enough if it’s 40 degrees and players are getting dehydrated, but this constant stream of people running onto the field whenever they like is not on.
I'm an old boy that's been watching the game since the late 70s. Go back and watch some of the old games and see how the referees allow the game to flow. If a player was down in back play, play on. Hell some time's team's would just play around them. Stopping play is just not needed especially in back play but a trainer having the power to stop it is just absurd.
No shock that the Panthers trainers are grubs, I will be shocked if the NRL does anything about it seeing as how protected the Panthers are

A player sledging another player is one thing because they can cop it on the field in the game. Different story when a trainer hides behind that and can't be touched. Absolute coward if what is alleged is true but given the track record of this trainer, I wouldn't be surprised if it is

It's league you see that stuff at junior footy every week, abuse and sledging is ingrained in league culture from management, coaches to trainers and players.. It's one upping, getting under the skin of the opposition gamesmanship.. Sort it out at grass roots level then it won't filter through to senior footy.
Sledging is common in every sport, trainers and non-playing staff all know better.
They're out on the field to manage their own players - shouldn't be saying a word to the opposition! Should make all the trainers on the field wear a mic - I'm sure that would sort out a lot of the rubbish.

Foxtel has low audience numbers in the lopw socio-economic Penrith area, so they unashamedly favour other clubs. Last week it gave ten minutes every night to the "blocking scandal" (their own creation), and this week it's taken them two minutes to launch another anti-Penrith rant. After this rant on Monday night, the panel then spent ten minutes discussing how Parra could beat Penrith, then cut to an ad saying "after the break, Coper Cronk will talk about how Parra can beat Penrith."

And south Sydney have stopped pursuing action against him. Is the panel going to retract what they assumed was said or do we not admit fault from reporters on the panel, or, are the 360 panel just going to not talk about it as reporters usually do when they've made a mistake?

Every game has a ground manager and security. Any non playing person found to be interfering with the running of the game should be removed from the playing area as per the rules. We saw the Eastern Suburbs trainer be part of a mutual infringement after three minutes of the 2019 Grand Final, the trainer in question here interfere with the 2021 Parramatta v Penrith semi final at a crucial point in the game and now this. Memo to all trainers . . . YOU DO NOT HAVE A SEAT AT THE TABLE.

I'd say they have heard it all, they do work in a studio for Fox Sports. The audio and video of every camera and microphone at the game is in the building.

I don't know if that system is supplied by Fox, but if it is, I'll give Mr Kent the benefit of reasonable doubt that he was not aware of it's existence and he just fired off without thinking.

Success breeds jealousy. Always has, always will. The only club ever deserving of resentment was Manly in the 1980s, when year after year they bought the best players off their main rivals. But even Manly aren't that club any more. The other "hated" clubs as you say are just the successful ones. I've followed Penrith for 50+ years and there was never a bad word said about them when they were running last.

True. Need a rule. Trainers , physicians, must not interact with opposition, on penalty of being banned from their position. Refs are in a difficult position. Can a Ref override a medical call to stop the game?
The last thing sport needs is more rules to deal with non-problems ffs. It's pretty normal for trainers from both clubs to help if a player is badly hurt. Too bad your new rule would cut in and stop one club's trainers interacting. Stop and think before you post nonsense.

The yellow shirt trainer for Penrith was sledging the first week of finals from memory. Someone was getting sent and he's seen on camera waving them goodbye and appeared to be saying a few words. Don't know why the Penrith trainers are so lippy 😂 they have nothing to do with the team dominating ahaha.

What a surprise. Team of sledgers and cheaters mirroring Coach and trainers. And the fans. I was near the Penrith fans on Saturday. Uncouth, up themselves, and really poor winners. Having been to 20 matches this year, they were by far the most disgraceful crowd - and I was at all 3 Roosters vs Rabbitohs clashes! They should be a team we all admire. Instead I loathe them. I hate Melbourne but at least they don't carry on like this.
