I use Pantheon every day, but I'm not sure I would stick with them long term. I probably would choose Kinsta or do my own thing on DO/Cloudways or AWS..
@@WPCasts Me neither. I uses Pantheon and DO everyday. WP engine vs Pantheon might be good comparison due to their features. I'm thinking to go with DO with DeployHQ for the upcoming projects.
@@WPCasts Why would you not stick with Pantheon long term? I work for a company where we're actually looking at moving from Kinsta over to Pantheon (potentially). Kinsta is great and it provided OK value early on, but as we grew their services bottlenecked us from scaling. Of course, unless we wanted to pay x3 the amount we were before.
These are pretty pricey for what is essentially shared hosting. Yes they've got some nice developer tools but in my experience clients really don't care about that.
What about AWS lightsail?
Does local Pro by flywheel staging push and pull do a proper database merging?
Google SMTP is free too with email forwarding.

Pantheon with lando. This provide really awesome experience. Even though they have high price and server configure limit.

@@WPCasts I agree, The same here I use pantheon every day for work, but looking to Kinsta or GCP with Kubernetes for my personal site.
