A squatter? Hehehehehehe 🤣🤣🤣 King of Kentucky is definitely bucket list tier for me. Along with some of its brethren OF Birthday Bourbon and President's Choice. Ever since I started dabbling into Brown-Forman juice in the form of black top Early Times Bonded, I've been hooked! I like the dark sweet notes I get from black top Early Times, OF 100 and 1910 so much that some Buffalo Trace products are getting booted out of my top favorites!
The GOAT! 2 years in a row I’ve had a pour at a bar in Chicago. It is my all time #1!
I own one from a short barrel. Bottle 1/40. 134.7 proof. One of the best, if not the best, KOk I’ve had. OBC kitchen in Lexington has a pour of it for 100.
Unfortunately I have never seen a King, not even in a museum. You gentlemen are vary fortunate to live in the area you live in and have good friends that send it your way. Cheers 😎🥃
I would love to find one of these near msrp😂 maybe $300. I've never spent over 100 bucks so far in my short bourbon journey. Congrats🎉🎉🎉
I have this exact same barrel. Sublime
I'd pay $400-500 for a KoK. I love the BF profile and I like the sound of the fruit forward front palate and the long finish. I'll need to hunt a pour.
I’d kill for a bottle of KoK, unfortunately it’s doubtful I’ll ever see a bottle here in DE/MD Shore. I’d pay up to $500-$600 for this
It's my favorite modern bourbon by far
Please release enough for other states to enjoy. Never seen in NC
North Carolina is actually one of the few states that gets an allotment. That being said, they probably only receive a handful of bottles, so your chance of seeing it here is slim to none.
I would pay $600 retail for KoK. I have had 6 different barrels. 2 are in my top 5 pours and 5 are in my top 10 pours of all time.
Every King has a dark molasses and tar note… like a truck spreading asphalt mixed with molasses. I love JD12 and this year’s M10B just for having that note in the background, but in King, it is the primary note except for the one barrel that did not make my top 10. It was great, just not exceptional. That note was there, it was just less pronounced.
King is the bourbon I didn’t realize I wanted until I had it.
I feel like that is how most people are!
I’ve never seen a KOK. They literally don’t exist to me. 😂
If it was MSRP $1,200 I’d still but it
Ugh. So spoiled.
I'm just jealous. Bit angry.
Cheers. 😆👍🏼
Nice review! I would pay 500 msrp for a normal release KOK. When are you guys going to review Mister Sam Batch 3?! 😃
We havent gotten it, so we wont unless we get it! Lets cross our fingers
@@bourbonkingdom I plan on opening my Mister Sam B3 this year. Would you guys be willing to accept and review a sample of it for your channel?!
@@MasterKenG1 sure I think we would do that. Email us at bourbonkingdom@gmail.com
this is going for $2000 - $2500 in NY.
TRE CRAY CRAY.
I have to be honest, for me, it needs a bit of water, like most in this proof range.
😊
Retail id pay $699
How much of it stays in Kentucky?
alot of it!
Copy….snagged a bottle in Illinois 👍🏻$299
Anything over that 250 mark is hard to justify for me trust me I want one but I want to pay my mortgage more....
Hello from Australia. $4500.00 here
$300 I'm comfortable with, so stretch I'd say $400 for anything. If it's worth it, that'll hurt a little bit, but I'll end up feeling fine with that purchase. Above that, I dunno, you're in liquor science fiction at that point. Economic concepts and the laws of physics don't apply.
I SAY 20th! 😎😊
I've bought motorcycles for less $ 😃
Id say 300
$600 ~ $800
