I used to wear Drakkar a lot back in the day. When I recently asked about it at a fragrance store, the lady behind the counter said “I don’t think that’s around anymore” I do wear Fahrenheit and get lots of compliments on it.

Drakkar Noir still smells good to this day but it has been reformulated. I remember it smelling much better in the 90’s.
I remember it being sooooo much more long lasting before. I purchased a bottle again a few months back and can’t smell it anymore after an hour…I remember the bottle I had in the 90’s I could smell all day and night on me.

@@Jhart44 yes I have that one also…better performance for sure than the original that’s out nowadays and smells more spicy and darker with a bit more suede and not as soapy…some people say root beer but not as sweet…I do like the scent though and recommend it if you’re a collector or if you can get it for $20-$25 for a 100ml

My friends grandma bought me some drakkar noir and it is a classic for a reason. It’s pretty straightforward and effective, distinguished but not gawdy or overbearing. Well-rounded and good for any day but still elegant and unique. Plus the price point.

My cologne collection has had drakkar noir in it since I was 10. 25 years that is the only one to get a permanent place in it. There was a lacoste one I liked too but it was discontinued.

I usually just go for the Bay Rum, it mixes well with chainsaw smoke and wood chips. Though any 2cycle light machinery works, including outboard motors. But that's my experience, your results may vary.
