Will have problems with Kyla probably too. At least in normal games Kyla is too strong for Polaris.
0 loses so far, I had 1 Rufus, won in manual finish. I noticed him too late ;-). // lost 1st time now against a very similar team but with Arachne/Thea.
I won against Kyla but Polaris went down fast, better to give Heidi as a 1st oponent to Kyla.

How do you beat the team of Oliver + Chabba, Julius, Astaroth, Rufus, Thea?

That team does 0 damage so you can use pretty much anything. Ishmael + fafnir based teams. If you are using Magic or pure damage teams you need to include Morrigan to stop Rufus from respawning.

There's a chance that the two attack lineups suggested by HWG-sensei could fail. I ran them through the guild's Combat Training system, and sometimes they fail, sometimes they succeed, so there's a win rate involved?
I got around by experimenting with the 1st lineup and replacing Morrigan with Jhu at times.
To clear the Chabba event, I had to spend 200 emeralds to refresh two times.
Still, having a guide from HWG-sensei helps a lot!
It could be a pain to run through the Combat Training system every time there's a new lineup, but at least there's a lower chance of wasting emeralds...

You need to test all battles, if you are not playing vs Rufus change Morrigan to another hero. Or use control team I show later in the video assuming no Sebastian or Khorus.
