what you said about attacking order isn't entirely right. when attacking an epic you attack back and forth until one of you runs out of troops. so Fenrir has 4 squads of monsters. that means you will attack back and forth 4 times, then you will attack with the remaining troops you have. then a new round of back and forth starts. that's why you want as many layers as possible. so its not random. the only random element is who goes first. and a quicktip on the stacking. the way you shows is excellent. i did it the same way when i was a lot smaller. it works great for consistency, and that's what you want when you're developing your city. however im lazy, so i usually just picks a number. say 500. then i just double it down until i cant fit more troops. like this: G6: 500, G5:1000, g4: 2000 etc etc. and use 1/5 on the griffins and half on the mounted units. the monsters is what you want to sacrifice. it works the same for specialists, you'd want specialists in there too. same principles. revive only mercs, monsters and heroes/captains. delete units and make new ones. gain the silver by farming lvl 25 villages during the day and you'll get from chests by being in a good clan. what is a good clan? look at the clans weath. if its over 300m in wealth, its good, otherwise look for a new one. if someone wants to know something, just let me know and i'll try to answer to the best of my ability. Ooooh ok, so the initial back and forth is dictated by whoever had the least different troops, So if an enemy or monster squad has 8 different types and I have 10, it will only be an 8 back and forth. What do you mean about 1/5 on the griffins bro? Because I got about the stacking of Guards and Specialists, but I didn't urdenstand what do to with monster and mercs, what is better, send everything or not. Because if you send a lot of monster/mercs and their Hit Points are higher than the guards, they can be hit first and die... correct?
@@arthurlemos2040 yes. monsters and mercs are harder to get unless you are in a very good clan. even then dragon coins are hard to get. thew higher level you get, the more expensive it becomes to create new monsters. so what i ment was send as many as you'd want. i go for 5 M6 and 10 M5. 1/5 griffins means you send 1/5th of the guardsmen. so if you send 1000 guardsmen send 250 griffins. i know this isnt optimal if you dont have mercs, but then again im lazy. you can go for even less if you want to keep the griffins in the battle for as long as possible. go for 1/8 or even 1/10 of the other guardsmen. in the end its all comes down to personal prefferences. i have a silver alt ( a sperate city that only generates silver for me) so i can afford to spend without too much of a hassle.
The formula works out like this. Working on using G5 troops as your highest unit. For every 100 G5 you'll need 179 G4 325 G3 578 G2 1040 G1 Which looks like this: 520*100/290=179 G4 520*100/160=325 G3 520*100/90=577.7 G2 520*100/50=1040 G1 If G4 is your highest unit then it will look like this: 100 G4 290*100/160= 181 G3 290*100/90= 322 G2 290*100/50= 580 G1 If G3 is your highest unit strength you'll swap 290*100 for 160*100. Then G2 is your highest unit strength you'll swap 160*100 for 90*100 If G1 is your highest unit strength then good luck.
@1:23 have you ever read a battle report? If I send 30 stacks against a monster with 3 stacks, the monster and I will trade kills for 3 rounds. After that, I am going to get 27 hits on the monster before he gets to hit me again. Then we will trade kills for 3 more rounds, then I get to hit him 24 more times before he hits me again, and it keeps going like this until all my squads are dead. For this reason, you want your WEAKEST squads to die first, so your stronger squads get to hit more times, and inflict more damage. If you are sending G7/G6/G5, you want the G5 squads to have more health (total) than your G6 and 7 squads so they die first. ALL of your Guards and Specialists should have more health than all of your merc squads, so the merc squads get the most hits in. IF you do it perfectly, your mercs will be the last to die, and get the most hits in. Stack by HEALTH, not strength...
Yes 100%, I made new video to show battle reports and explain better ➡ th-cam.com/video/LuIfUF2s4nU/w-d-xo.html Thanks for the comments though it really does help players 🙏🏽💯
You need to compare two battles with similar sized armies: You sent troops requiring 6,919 Leadership on the first attack. You got about 10M Valor. That's 1445 VP per. You sent troops requiring 8,956 Leadership on the second attack. You got about 12.5M Valor. That's 1396 VP per with stacking. Doesn't seem like stacking did much if anything to help.
I stack based on HEALTH of my troops, the monters are looking to do the best possible damage, so they will attack based on the health and their bonuses. At least thats what my calculations and testing showed so far.
100%, I have learned monsters attack highest health of troops first. Use the formula for health and adjust for bonuses. I've managed to tweak my set up now for optimal performance, showing in my latest videos 🙏🏽🙏🏽💯💯
Appreciate the comment, I've recently uploaded a new video about a calculator that does the best numbers for you, it's great! Check that out and try get it for yourself 🙏🏽❤️💯
I think the purpose of stacking is to get more and consistent valor from the attack. If you send just one stack of troops then it’s 50/50 if they even hit. So if you send two stacks then the first is 50/50 and the second will hit. Once all of the enemy stacks attack then the rest of your stacks attack again before the next round. So if you send 6 stacks to fafnir your weakest stack hits twice (need one extra for the 50/50 first attack). If you send 10 stacks your weakest goes 3 times. This is important because epic monster hunters do 6x damage against epics so even if they are the weakest stack then their 2 or 3 attacks will be big! If you do another vid like this compare how much valor you get from stacking or not.
Just as a "math" aside. You don't need to multiply both numbers by 100.. If you do, the 100 just cancels out in the division anyway. You divide the number of your highest level troops by the next lowest level. In your case, that's 1.8. So you multiply the number of your lower level troops by 1.8 to get the equal amount of power. I don't know the power progression of characters...but I wouldn't be totally surprised if you find that that 1.8 ratio is consistent throughout the game. In other words, You have your level 4 archers and divided by level 3 archers. It might be that you divide level 5 archers by level 4 archers, and still get 1.8...
I just checked it too, and you're right, still works 😉 I will show it in my next video on troop stacking because I've made some mistakes in this one. Appreciate the comment 🙏🏽💯
@@TotalBattleTutorials Honestly, now that I think about it, I don't even want to bother multiplying everything by 1.8..its easier to just multiply by 2 and leave it at that.
OK..I had to mull this one over for a while, but I wanted to add my additional thought here because I haven't really seen anyone boil it down this way. When trying to figure how you want to stack, keep in mind that your captain has a certain Leadership stat that determines your max amount of soldiers to attack with. Lets say 17,000 Leadership..which means she can bring 17,000 fighters to the battle. Each Guardsmen counts a single soldier. If you have 4 levels of Guardsman...then you want 3(x+2x+3x+4x) guardsmen. Lets simplify that to 3x+6x+9x+12x=30x. If you have level three levels of Swordsman and Spies, Specialists count as 5 soldiers each. so, you apply the same forumla as above, but also multiply everything in the parentheses by 5. So your formula for them is 2(5x+10x+15x). That simplifies to 10x+20x+30x=60x. If you have Level 3 engineering in the mix. Each engineering item counts as 10 soldiers. So your formula for them is (10x+20X+30x) or 60x...there are other things we can throw in, but I'm gonna stop here for now. Now we can add all three together and get 30x+60x+60x=150x. 150x=17,000 or x=113.3333 Which I am just going to round up to 114. What that basically means is, your lowest level guardsmen are the 4X.. So you need 456 Level 4, 342 of Level 3, 228 of Level 2 and 114 of Level 1 of each type of Guardsman. You need Level 1710 Level 3s, 1140 Level 2s, and 570 Level 1s of each of the Specialists, finally, for Engineering you need 3,420 Level 3s, 2280 Level 2, and 1140 Level 1s. I am sorry if that is an information overload. But its the simplest setup I can do..once you get into monsters and other things, you just keep adding to the formula. And each time your captain goes up a level, she can add 150 more soldiers to the equation.
interesting but wouldn't you use hights troop level for each so say battle griffin then mounted so your mounted or spares would be the same level as your battle griffin
Yes you always want to use your highest troop health score, then ensure that the least costing troops are used to take the initial hits from the enemy so that your highest damage troops strike for max points 🙏🏽💯
Its not the first three attacks that are important. Its all of them. If you send against Fenrir, the fenrir is based on 4 stacks of monster so you need to send at least 4 stacks....8 is minimal but 16 stacks is ideal. Your G4s only need 50 riders and 100 archers/melee. Then, you send 100 G3 riders with 200 G3 melee and archers. Also, then send 200 G2 riders with 400 melee and archers. Finally, send 400 riders 1, with 800 archers and melee 1. Compare that to how you did it and notice the costs for the yield.
Hello Friend. Thank you for the video and the formula. I've a question if you don't mind: What about catapults ? Do you recommend to use them or not? Can we use the same formula with them?
All good, I rarely use catapults these days because I rarely attack other players however if I was to use them say to attack a citadel then I'd do the math to consider how many I'd need because once the walls are down you don't really wanna use them to attack troops or be attacked by troops. I never use catapults unless its for knocking down walls. That way they don't need to be in the formula 🙏🏽💯
Hey, the stacking formula is not about Strenght of your troops, is about Health of them. They will hit the squad with more health always. You need to round it based on your health % including clan researches, your researches, artifacts, captain/hero gear and hero point skills. That is why in your video g4 riders hitted first when it was supposed to be G3 taking the first hit to score more points. Good luck in your next videos.
@@OrgoGames yes I reviewed my method again, and realised I needed to account for equipment bonues too. Well spotted friend, appreciate the comment. Together we rise 🙏🏽💯
Hello mate, I liked your strategy but I think we can improve it using the healthy points system, because the troops with more healthy points are attacked first, right? (If the monster attacks first). So maybe it’s a way to send a “sacrifice” for the first three rounds of attack and then the rest, including monster and mercs, can give more attacks! And also consider the types of monster’s troops so you can send the same quantity of types as well, idk, I just want to find the best cost benefit strategy! Thank you
Yes, I will be doing another video reviewing thebbest strategy because I've had some more useful tips explained to me from other players too that I didn't know before and see that I must share it for others so will do friend. Thanks for the comment 🙏🏽💯
so how do you calculate the lvl of your highest health strengh, since your using that as a base to find the second lvl down troops...hope that makes since
It does make sense, I have found that the base level still works for all however if you're using equipment or artifacts that boost specific troops, you will need to calculate the percentage increase into the equation. In my latest video attack arachne swarm you can see in the battle reports my specialists survived above the guardsmen because I used the Philosophers Stone Artifact on one of the captains 🙏🏽💯 Hope that helps 🙏🏽💯
btw i dont think its 50/50 chance of attacking first against epic monsters. we are in a big clan, and we've hit epic monsters so many times, even killed them. it's almost like 90% of the time epic monsters attack first (i dont know the realy percentage) but thats what it feels like to me, thats why you never want to have your Mercs to go first. unless you have a big army and can afford losing some of them.
@@2tart appreciate the comment, its says equal initiative determines the 50/50 but you're right, most of the time the epic does attack first lol #conspiracy 🙏🏽💯
Raiders definitely need to be lower than spearmen and ranged, that's the reason they died first. You want your weaker troops to die first, so the others have more chances to hit.
Different monster types can be attacked by your hero or your captains for example, common or rare. Same for epic monsters, some for Heros others for Captains. 🙏🏽💯
A little misleading there at the 11:55 mark. You said you got 3 attacks w/ 4 monster squads. Not true. And this by the way is not as remotely effective as troop balancing based on modified health. What happened to the lowest tier troop attacking first?
You lost my attention when you said the attack order is random. It is definitely not random. Total Battle even did a video explaining it a couple months ago.
This is interesting. But how does it pick which of your troop types to use first? Then second? Is it based on something like total strength of that troop type? I was finding that sending the biggest army of a single troop type seems to have the least casualties. Maybe that tactic works with common and rare monsters.
The enemy will always attack the troop type with the highest health score. So if you have 150 g4 riders and 42 epic monster hunter mercs lvl4, the riders will be attacked first, but if you have 43+ epic monster hunter mercs lvl4 they will be attacked first. 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤❤💯💯
Lot incorrect. Not random at all. And you want your strongest troops to be killed last, not first. You will get more points. And with so few mercenaries, you would have probably gotten more points putting them at the end instead of at the front where they would get more strikes in, and more strikes means more points. Multiple strikes can mean more kills than just 1 strike.
Sorry but this video is full of error, the biggest one is: in the first attack you used about 1400 riders in the second attack you used 800+ 1400 riders How you can comprare that? 1400 vs 2200 riders. Of course the stacked attack with 2200 riders is better casue it has 800 more riders! You should delete it and redo with same number of troops between attacks.
No need to be sorry, what you're saying is true, with more troops does bring more attacking power so it's valid. I will be doing another video on this because I also learned from another player that the initial attacks are not 3 and then random after. The number of initial attacks is determined by the number of different enemy troops and then the different variations of troops and levels of yours thereafter. In this video I'm showing the way to equal the power of attack between troops. Appreciate the comment, 🙏🏽💯
@@TotalBattleTutorials also Remember to use the right proportion between riders and melee/archers Also It would be usefull for newbie, the calcs of silver/speedups needed to rebuild the 2 attacks It also interesting matching the 2 attacks in case you Attack First and in case Monster do It first. The formula works out like this. Working on using G5 troops as your highest unit.
For every 100 G5 you'll need
179 G4
325 G3
578 G2
1040 G1
Which looks like this:
520*100/290=179 G4
520*100/160=325 G3
520*100/90=577.7 G2
520*100/50=1040 G1
If G4 is your highest unit then it will look like this:
100 G4
290*100/160= 181 G3
290*100/90= 322 G2
290*100/50= 580 G1
If G3 is your highest unit strength you'll swap 290*100 for 160*100.
Then G2 is your highest unit strength you'll swap 160*100 for 90*100
If G1 is your highest unit strength then good luck.

Attacks are not random after 3 rounds its just that you got more variety which makes esch troop attack once at least before theor troops reattack
Yes, this is true, I have made a new video to highlight this 🙏🏽💯➡ th-cam.com/video/qWVtPayolAM/w-d-xo.html

I've a question if you don't mind:
What about catapults ?
Do you recommend to use them or not?
Can we use the same formula with them?
All good,
I rarely use catapults these days because I rarely attack other players however if I was to use them say to attack a citadel then I'd do the math to consider how many I'd need because once the walls are down you don't really wanna use them to attack troops or be attacked by troops.
I never use catapults unless its for knocking down walls.
That way they don't need to be in the formula 🙏🏽💯
newbie here, I am usiing Carter over all until I advance more
Sounds like a solid plan, what's your reason behind that? 🙏🏽💯
Together we rise 🙏🏽💯
them then you them then you them then you 🎼🎶
Lol,
Its actually then you then them you them, then you then them lol
I have never seen that amount of portals for an epic and I've been around 4 kingdoms now lol
Haha it is a lot 😂
Thanks for the comment 🙏🏽💯
so how do you calculate the lvl of your highest health strengh, since your using that as a base to find the second lvl down troops...hope that makes since
It does make sense,
I have found that the base level still works for all however if you're using equipment or artifacts that boost specific troops, you will need to calculate the percentage increase into the equation.
In my latest video attack arachne swarm you can see in the battle reports my specialists survived above the guardsmen because I used the Philosophers Stone Artifact on one of the captains 🙏🏽💯
Hope that helps 🙏🏽💯
btw i dont think its 50/50 chance of attacking first against epic monsters. we are in a big clan, and we've hit epic monsters so many times, even killed them. it's almost like 90% of the time epic monsters attack first (i dont know the realy percentage) but thats what it feels like to me, thats why you never want to have your Mercs to go first. unless you have a big army and can afford losing some of them.
Yes, I have learned, new video explaining coming soon
thanks for the comment
🙂🙏🏽💯
why can't I use my captain to fight epic monsters?
Different monster types can be attacked by your hero or your captains for example, common or rare.
Same for epic monsters, some for Heros others for Captains. 🙏🏽💯
معرکه هستش این بازی ❤

A little misleading there at the 11:55 mark. You said you got 3 attacks w/ 4 monster squads. Not true. And this by the way is not as remotely effective as troop balancing based on modified health. What happened to the lowest tier troop attacking first?
I hear you bro, I've gotten a lot better this since, I'll pin the link to my next video to show. Appreciate the comments and feedback too 🙏🏽🙏🏽💯💯
Melhor jogo que eu conheço
It's enjoyable I agree 😌🙏🏽💯
You lost my attention when you said the attack order is random. It is definitely not random. Total Battle even did a video explaining it a couple months ago.
I've lived and learned, made new videos explaining better, ➡️ th-cam.com/video/z6dcAB89XK0/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for your patience 🙏🏽💯
You mean like this? 👉🏽 th-cam.com/video/pRT1a5fTm38/w-d-xo.html
Battle reports around 13 minutes, check chapters 🙏🏽💯

Vielen Dank fürs Zuschauen! 🙏🏽💯
Sorry but this video is full of error, the biggest one is: in the first attack you used about 1400 riders in the second attack you used 800+
1400 riders
How you can comprare that?
@@TotalBattleTutorials also Remember to use the right proportion between riders and melee/archers
Also It would be usefull for newbie, the calcs of silver/speedups needed to rebuild the 2 attacks
It also interesting matching the 2 attacks in case you Attack First and in case Monster do It first.
To prove stalking Is Better i want also see the matches when I Attack First (stacked and not.stacked) and when I Attack for 2nd (stacked and not stacked)
guess he is doing this only for possible money to get from Yt, because he doesn`t know what is talking about. absolutely no idea.

I have not spent anything on my account and I'm enjoying the game.
I do appreciate players who want to speed up the gameplay spend money however you're not forced 🙏🏽💯
