It’s more clear and best explained in the books , but the reason why Bella always goes after Jackson when he’s upset and why she asked him to kiss her is because he’s always making threats about cutting her off of his life because she’s choosing Edward, or saying stuff like « oh , I might just as well go and die then… » So she kissed him because she didn’t want him to go and get killed on purpose. But she so naive . Edward tells her « Jackson was just saying that ( to manipulate her) but he would never actually disappear or get killed on purpose, and make too easy on Edward ( basically letting him win the girl) that’s not his style!

Yea they don’t say it in the movies but vampires have rituals wear they have to find a mate. Like a soulmate basically and there’s only one. Once they do they can never apart from each other. It’s 10 times greater than human love. If they did go apart from each other both of them would be emotionally damaged forever. That’s why Bella was broken in new moon. And why Victoria was so angry that James died. They are literally tied to each other. But its unusual for a human to be a vampires soulmate. Except Bella’s supernatural because their gifts don’t work on her. Which means her mind is way different than humans and she’s capable of falling for a vampire. Which also makes sense hows Bella’s meant to be vampire because her and Edward are soul mates so they have to live forever.

the original actor for victoria rachelle lefevre was a much more compelling villain she wouldve made eclipse the best in the series in new moon she didnt even have any lines but she says so much w her facial expressions alone bryce dallas howard had no idea what she was doing w the role totally fumbled the third and final part of the james/laurent/victoria coven i remember sitting in the theater and being so disappointed after realizing the recast
The movies are so much better than the books... And that's sad.
In all the books nearly everything happens from Bella's POV, so if she wasn't there, or conscious, tough luck.
Ok the imprinting thing of the werewolves doesn’t get explain as much as it should and people always get it wrong. The wolves all have a soulmate. But see the term soulmate isn’t always a romantic relationship. It can be romantic. It can be mother and daughter. Teacher and student. Brother and sister. Best friend and best friend. Fate guides you to the person your life is tide to. Once you see them you can never be apart from them. And nether can the other person. It’s supposed to be a magical life fulfillment for them. But the roles for the two people in the relationship can change depending on the situation. And no matter what role fate gives them both parties feelings are completely genuine. Jacob never imprinted on Bella he just fell with her the regular human because technically he’s human.
I just wish the book and the movies really explained that more because when I first read it, I felt like it was a grooming thing. 😳😨😱. But I eventually got it, but it still wasn't translated very well.

Just to clarify a couple things, Imprinting is a wolf thing, it is basically the way a wolf finds their soulmate. There is only one person in the whole world a wolf can imprint on and they know they have found that person the moment they lay their eyes on them. It is a supernatural force that guides a wolf to their true mate. Some wolves find their soulmate when one of them is still a child and when that happens the bond is not romantic, but merely that of a brother/best friend, however it is heavily implied that when the child grows up the bond will change to become romantic. Also, Jacob has NOT imprinted on Bella.

Bella is selfish. She want Edward as a lover, but wants to keep jake as a bestfriend too. Even if it’s not fair to him. She told him in the second movie: i can’t be with you but I’m also selfish I just don’t want you to go anywhere , cause I need you ( but just as friend)

Also although Bella is supernatural she is human so it is possible to have feelings the regular way. So she can fall in love the normal way. So she unknowingly falls for jacob the human way. But she didn’t know. In new moon she thought it was a crush and didn’t think that it wasn’t possible because she already found her eternal soulmate. And in that moment that she got mad a Edward about jacob Edward realized she did love him. Bella had to kiss jacob because the wolves have an issue with their emotions that can get them killed. Jacob was mad because he thought he still had chance with Bella and Bella kissed him because she had to show that she actually did have feelings for him at one point. Bella and Edward were ok with the whole jacob love thing because it made sense of how it happened in new moon. Because edward left in new moon, which lead to Bella unknowingly falling for Jacob. But both Bella and Edward know that it doesn’t compare to the soulmate love that they have.

Jacob kissing her wasn't that weird they almost kissed on multiple occasions in the previous movie...she's just overreacting and trying to make it look awful on him now that Edward is back
It is hard to like the series completely today. But to be honest, so many things that are confusing you four in the movies are explained in the books. BUT I can confidently say that with each rereading I start hating Bella more and more. You should hear her internal thoughts! Imensly annoying. The story would be soo much better without her character, quite pleasent actually.
