It's good that all the main characters are white. Every time he sees a character that isn't, he needs to make a joke. The one time you encounter a black person he immediately had to make the infamous "joke". Can you imagine Phil getting this attached to the characters if they were asian? There'd be Weng and Chang jokes throughout the entire game. Phil has always been like that, the difference is that his humor was not as forced as it is now and he didn't get salty as easily. He literally quit Lego TFA because of one random bug.
