Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

I like what they did here. But I think it could've been better somehow. Perhaps I'm wrong..
I like the start of the original one IMO
It just doesn't have the same chaotic vibe to it that the original did
That said, I do really like what it was going for
it's missing the feeling of power the original had
The bass isn't as strong, and the bass was the best part
You're not wrong. It feels watered down.
It doesn’t have the same “*chuckles* I’m in danger” level of intensity as the original, but it makes up for it by sounding more playful, which is especially fitting for Mesprit. The accordion buildup at the start sounds a bit odd, but the rest sounds great.
If you don’t like it or the remixes you can just get the DS sounds from a “sound designer” and the WHOLE OST would sound Exactly like the DS ost

@@CaptainObliviousV umm I’m saying there is an Key item you can get in BDSP which turns the whole soundtrack into the DS version in just one click.
Junichi Masuda thought it would be nice if they brought back the DS version of the soundtrack to bdsp as an option.

Lowering the sound of the bassline is like removing the claps in ORAS Elite Four.
well there is a lot more bass in this version but im guessing you meant the drop at about 0:16 and yeah the drop is extremely disappointing. the bassline in this version is a lot lower of a frequency so you’d need a good set of headphones or speakers to hear it. on a set of earbuds i have with extra bass the bass is genuinely over powering the whole track

@@Anginitkapetayo probably an issue with sound mixing and mastering. Where instruments are super quiet for whatever reason either it be oversight or intentional with the producers not realizing the impact those instruments had in the OG

Azelf isn't traumatized anymore. I guess that's okay.
This is the only track that I feel wasn't improved. But then again, I've never heard anyone improve this track in particular in my opinion, so I wasn't expecting a masterpiece. The composer did what they could.
The entire track was arranged by one person, and he was tasked with topping some of the best tracks in the series. Yeah I'm not gonna be too harsh him lol

Missed opportunity:
Make all of them have slightly different themes:
Azelf: Stronger bass and just overall more powerful.
Mesprit: Lighter with more dynamic changes.
Uxie: a bit more pale.
This is based on what they represent as the being of willpower, emotions and knowledge respectively.
They did that with the dog trio
I like the accordion thing they used, kinda fits the somewhat playful attitude they have even when they went to the Distortion World in Platinum.
I do kinda wish that they just straight up used the exact same bass as from the original tho lol, both as a callback and also because it just hits that hard XD
Get the DS sounds THE WHOLE OST would be the same as the DS if u don’t like the remixes.
The bass guitar is in there, but it's very quiet.
You know, a Primal Groudon/Kyogre situation where the theme has a whole new feel with exerpts of the original in it would have made the OST in this game absolutely amazing. I'm disappointed as is though.

*Ahem* DS Sounds key item, for when a certain song was better in the original. Game freak knew some songs couldn't be improved so they just threw in the originals as well.
Tip for getting Mesprit:
Once Mesprit shows up in your area on the Marking Map, do a repel, and save. Have a level 50 Pokémon in the front of your party. Throw a quick ball 1st turn, you have a 10% chance of catching it. If you dont catch it, right as at flees, soft reset and do i over again. At around 19 attempts you should be guaranteed to catch it. This is way easier than wasting a Master Ball.

I used a Honchcrow with mean look to trap it, and Mespirit only has psychic moves, which doesn’t effect the Honchcrow.
Or maybe use a Pokémon with mean look

This theme makes me think "not dangerous until provoked" about them which fits
Back when I played the original ds version, I kind of thought that the lake guardians were testing you to see if you were worthy to add them to your team, they were probably rather proud of you for how you handled Team Galactic, and if you took good care of Dialga/Palkia after catching them(which it could be assumed that it's canon that the player character did) I imagine that they thought you'd earned the right to try and catch them, but they still wouldn't make it easy!
On another note, I've always thought that the lake guardians personalities are some weird mix between playful children and ultra wise sages, one moment they're laughing and cracking jokes and the next they're offering words of wisdom that make you really question literally everything. I also imagine that they probably spend most of their days chatting it up via the psychic equivalent of long distance calls.

The beginning of this song is so hypnotic! The times I tried catching Mesprit (which felt like 100) I got chills!

Considering Mesprit controls emotions, Uxie controls knowledge and Azelf controls Willpower, the hypnosis is defiantly on purpose.

I caught Azelf in a Timer Ball, Uxie in a Poké Ball, and Mesprit IN A MASTER BALL CAUSE I HAD IT WITH HER JUST *RUNNING OFF*

I hated that Dialga made me use the my master ball on it cuz it nearly wiped me. I wanted to save it for Mespirit for the exact reason of if you know you know.

This whole thing sounds amazing the drums and the rest of the instruments compliment each other
I honestly prefer the louder and thicker bass on the original.
I think the original did a better start of the theme then the remix. HOWEVER, from 0:27 this theme is a complete joyride for me. I really prefer this higher pitch sound than the original theme.

This one is growing on me. A lot of the other remade tracks sound rather plain and don't seem to offer much more than the originals. At least this one feels different. I also appreciated it a lot more when wearing decent headphones.

Glad it's not just me, I think they smashed this one out of the park - unlike the Dialga/Palkia theme which felt so botched.

Sounds a lot more like it probably should've sounded. The old theme was way too intense and a little dark sounding for what the lake trio and Mesprit especially represent in game. Nit as good of a theme but more fitting.

I heard this theme for about 10 straight minutes yesterday as Azelf broke out of about 40 of the pokeballs I threw. I finally caught it with a premier ball (somehow)
No joke, Azelf KOed my entire team except for my Luxray which had 1 hp left. I threw and ultra ball and caught it. It was the most anime thing I'd ever seen.

I hope the kids liked this game. I feel like the recent Pokémon games since X/Y haven’t really felt like an adventure the way the games - especially DPPT - did.

Although this isn’t much of an improvement from the original (which was already awesome) I’m just glad they remixed it. As I was chasing Mesprit, I kept saying “please let it be remixed” and as soon as it started, I yelled “YES!”
Needless to say, I was happy that they did, even if it isn’t that much better
I don't know, personally I think this is actually an improvement. In terms of INTENSE BATTLE, the original did that better. But for a theme that fits the pokemon you're fighting, this does it better. It's playful and gives off a sense of "Unique!" versus the other one that gave off a sense of "Weird!"
you are fighting with deities that gave intelligence, emotion and will to humans, the original theme literally addressed the fear and weirdness of these 3, the current one is just an empty theme of the original
Sneasel, Weavile, or Absol with False Swipe should help you when facing Uxie and Azelf since they only have psychic moves, which do nothing to dark-type Pokémon. Mesprit, as far as I know, does not try to attack unless maybe you use Mean Look. The Quick Balls kind of reset its catch rate if you damage Mesprit and encounter Mesprit again.
I just realized uxie and cynthia share alot of similarities
Uxie is the pokemon embodiment of knowledge
Cynthia is studying mythos(pursuit of knowledge)
Uxie is always the first you meet in the distortion world.
You meet cynthia early in the game
They both have yellow as one of their prominent colors too.

Mesprit = Palkia (pink)
Azelf = Dialga (blue)
okay wait no but actually cynthia has more in common with mesprit actually oh my god. Oh my God. her name resembles the latin verb "sentio" which means "i feel". the placement of her hairclips also strongly resembles that of mesprit.

listening to the ORAS version (or even the original) then listening to this makes me realize why they had a classic music option for this game.
For Uxie or Azelf you wanna have one or the other before you catch one. So you can use Imprison to stop them from attacking you since they have a VERY similar moveset
They all have an identical moveset, except Mesprit has Charm, Uxie has Amnesia, and Azelf has Nasty Plot. The rest of their moves are identical.
This somehow feels even more threatening at some parts despite being toned down from the original.

I honestly gotta say, though I’ve not been too picky about the remake’s songs, I just keep missing that base in the beginning of this theme
It gives the song this feeling of intensity that this one doesn’t have
But otherwise this song is also very good

The synth shouldn't be louder than the bass here, I think that's the big feel change.
Combine the bassline from the original, and the "chorus" from this one, and you'll have the perfect version.
