I had a 10 to 15+ hour standoff against this legend in Pokemon Platinum Version Trainer Peach and her team with the leader Of the San Francisco, CA 7th renegade fleet with lead Pokemon Leo the Empoleon and his kill squad 14 in the Western Pokemon Conference and in the National League West of Pokemon. Her number was 40 last name was Bumgarner .

Oh jeez I remember finding the Spring Path in Diamond after beating the game and realizing that path was never there. Once the creppy music started playing I had no idea what was going on. Naturally I was just as confused when I found Giratina inside the cave, not knowing what it was.
it was insane playing the game with no knowledge of Giratina at all, and finding him on a wimb. I was honestly so excited feeling like I was the first to find out about him and he was sooo difficult to catch😂

I got a shiny giratina and named it aquafina.
I was caught off guard the first time I met Giratina. I knew nothing about him, whether it was his lore or his typings. He always carried this "epic" atmosphere every time I faced him, mostly thanks to his legendary theme which is the most epic of them all (CHANGE MY MIND). Really glad I faced him ever since and I hope seeing Giratina again in Sword/Shield.
Sorry to disappoint you, but all legendaries previous to Sword and Shield will NOT reappear in the games.

Giratina... the ruler of antimatter. The Pokémon that has been banished to the Distortion World because of its violence. When holding a Griseous orb, it changes into its origin form. The only Pokémon that can learn Shadow Force.(Besides Ditto, Smeargle or other Pokémon using Metronome or any copying moves)

Whenever I face Giratina I always get scared.
I felt intimated on the Pokemon's equivalent of the devil when I face it in Platinum (three times)

Interesting fact for anyone who doesn't know in DP when you enter Spring Path numerous audio glitches can occur and will not end until you change the soundtrack, most well known is the soundtrack just not playing however if that glitch doesn't happen the ghostly choir part of the theme song (used in the old chateau and Newmoon Island) cuts out leaving a hollow sound it's really creepy you can hear it slightly at the beginning of the video, I guess this glitch is the reason why in Platinum Spring Path and Sendoff Spring's music was changed
So you figure the music was too scary for the kids playing lol

I like to think that the Giratina that Brendan/May caught was the original Giratina and that the one in Platinum was made by Arceus so that the universe could stay in balance while not depriving Brendan/May of their new friend. Same goes for the one in UsUm, but after Lucas/Dawn caught their Giratina.
Noah Tarvin but oras comes after platinum so that doesn’t make sense but usum does.
Actually, according to the official timeline, the events of the Kanto and Hoenn games, including OrAs, come three years before the events of the Johto and Sinnoh games.
@@breakfast_pasta7923 but be aware that Zinnia already confirmed that they are an alternate Hoenn, a Hoenn that's aware of Mega Evolution just like Kalos and Alola, so there are alternate universes as well.

let's be honest when we all played Platinum as a kid and suddenly see Cyrus get clapped by giratina everyone was taken by shock
and same with diamond and pearl you just suddenly see a passage on that route which name I'm to lazy to remember but you get the point and just going into that one cave
and being confused on how to solve it and after a while you just randomly go through doors and then see this beast just chilling there

Giratina is a pokemon that is like a trademark of my childhood. Battling her in platinum as a kid, feeling overwhelming pressure and knowing that this isn't typical, ordinary legendary Pokemon only made that memory stronger. Also, when she couldn't get even more badass, they gave her Origin Form. Can u make even better looking renegade Pokemon? And that entrance in Platinum, Giratina even got its own dimension, where she flies above your head roaring! So yeah, i love Giratina and i really hope that in DP remakes Giratina will get similar episode like Rayquaza got in ORAS cuz i swear, she deserves it!

I'm surprised giratina didn't have his own theme in DP. I played Platinum so I didn't know.
DP was released in 2006 (JAPAN) 2007 (US and EU) and Platinum was released in 2008 (Japan) 2009 (USA). So there was a gap between the releases. DP was basically the beta version and Platinum was the final version, much like S/M being beta and USUM being the final version with changes.

QOTD:
I first played Platinum when I was 8,I replayed it when I was 11.
When I was 8,I OHKO'ed it using My Lvl.70 Infernape.
(I did this because I didn't actually know how to equally Train my pokémon,We always did this as a little kid,didn't we?)
And when I was 11,My Infernape was Lv.45.
(Because I learnt that we can switch places of party Pokémon and also because I was a bit mature than before,So I kept balanced Levels for all my Party Pokémon except Bibarel.)
I had a really tough battle against Giratina in my second playthrough when I was 11.
I had stocked up on Hyper Potions,Revives and Ultra Balls but ended up losing most of the Hyper Potions during that Final Cyrus Battle.
So anyway,I started to save before fighting Giratina,Just in case if I accidentally kill it.
And Now the battle begins!
I made my Staraptor use Fly first,then kept on spamming Aerial Ace.
And after making Giratina's HP bar go almost empty,I started blasting off Ultra Balls.
It took me so many Revives to keep the battle going on.
And After 11 Ultra Balls,It got caught!
It was so hard to catch even If it was having only 2 HP left.
When i caught giratina in swsh in pokemon camp was SO. FUCKING. CUTE.
