Wow, I love all the extra bits you added to this theme: the calm bit at the start before the weather gets worse, the extra fast bit in the middle, and the tranquil ending that shows the storm has passed and Rheneas has triumphed. Well done to you and Barry, that was epic!

woah woah...slow down on the drama, there... 😆 It felt like an instrumental from some German Romantic opera, the moment when the storm hits and all the supernatural beings (there are always supernaturals in German Romantic Operas) start twirling through the air while the hero, who has sought refuge in some cave, feels miserable and terrified in front of a tiny fire. An impressive arrangement and many thanks to Barry for lending his considerable skills to this demanding arrangement. P.S. I love that harp 🤩
Really beautiful music and told a beautiful story. The calm before the storm, the storm causing havoc throughout the island, the engines battling the storm, the engines have survived the storm and everyone celebrates. Well done to you and @grizzlyflute.^^/
This theme lends itself well to orchestration, and as usual you have risen to the challenge. Highlights for me are 1) The harp swells in the intro 2) the texture of the violas in the background, and 3) the crescendo at 2:09. Once again, brilliant!
Ahh thanks for the nice message Nicholas! I always feel conflicted about using harp glisses too much as a crutch but I totally agree in that intro part.. it really gives a perfect *mysterious* vibe!

Thomas puffed across the island, he could see the storm damage all around him, and when he arrived at the windmill Thomas could see that is was completely wrecked. The airport site was a complete mess but when he had saw that the sodor suspension bridge had collapsed he felt worse then ever. That morning the Fat Controller came to see the engines, he was very upset. "The storm has done a great deal of damage" he sad sadly. We must try to mend things or we won't have any holiday makers. Yes sir puffed the engines. "Everyone will have to work extra hard otherwise we won't be able to open the airport. "Will Tidmouth sheds be mended to" "only after you finished you've finished all the other jobs the fat controller said firmly.
I've especially loved this theme since I've basically heard it throughout several seasons of the Thomas and Friends TV series' 3rd & 4th seasons when Percy and Rheneas each had to work really hard to get their passengers home safely!
I've actually meant to say episodes of the show's 3rd & 4th seasons! In fact, the show's very own 4th season introduced the narrow-gauge engines since Rheneas surely does completely happen to be a narrow-gauge engine who's based on another engine with the same design named Dolgoch who runs on the Talyllyn Railway!
I like this a lot, the harp included in this makes it sound very mystical and the track just exudes danger. I'd think a cover of Spencer's theme from Season 7 would sound glorious, just good stuff

I've especially wanted to mention that there were several incidents during their passenger runs through the stormy weather when Percy went through a flood that sloshed the fire in his firebox while trying hard to get the children home, and especially since the other time was when Rheneas' valve gear jammed while pulling a full train that included even some passengers traveling uncomfortably in the brake van!
Wind and rain buffeted Edward, his sanding gear failed, so his fireman stood out front pouring sand on the rails by hand. Then, before the driver could check them, Edward’s wheels slipped fiercely on a hill and with a loud *BANG* something broke and ripped Edward’s splashes and frame up. Repairs took some time, eventually the driver went up to Edward and said “one of your crankpins broke boy, we’ve taken your side rods off, now you’re a single, like an old fashioned engine, do you think you can take these people home?” “I’ll try my best” Said Edward. His wheels spun but he didn’t move, the guard made adjustments between the coaches. “We’ve loosened the couplings, now they’re like trucks, will that be easier?” Edward’s tender coupling tightened and started the first coach, the first coach helped start the second, and the second the third, and so on down the train until they started moving. The driver listened to Edward’s steady beat “You’ve done it old boy!” The passengers stuck their heads out the windows and cheered. Meanwhile Gordon, Henry, and the Fat Controller stood at Knapord station platform. “Thirty two minutes late…” Said Sir Topham hat. “Honestly sir” said Gordon, “I think you should just have Edward-“ but he was cut off by a loud “Peep peep” then, weary, broken, but un beaten, Edward chuffed into the station and stopped at the platform. “Edward!” Said The Fat Controller, “Why are you so la- But he was cut off as exited passengers swarmed out of the coaches, thanked Edward and his crew.
This is definitely a good theme for a story I'm doing. Thanks Luke. Also, just thinking for future themes, maybe a combination of the danger theme from season 5 and season 1/2 would be cool

Great job once again Luke! I always felt a theme like this could always suit Rheneas, as it does capture his personality. For any future suggestions, I was hoping you could do Annie & Clarabel, Thomas’s Season 5/Orchestral theme (like with how you did Percy’s, except for Thomas this time), the Chase theme from S3/S4 in episodes like All at Sea and Bowled Out for example, Arthur, and Harold please.
