The only good thing coming out of the Thomas and Friends series going to shit is that the fandom has really stepped up; and, in my mind, supercedes anything that Mattel could create. If (big if) Mattel allowed the fandom to produce just one season or special of Thomas and Friends, I truly believe that anything they create would instantly be 10x better than Mattel. If the fandom was ever given this honor, this music should deserve to represent the fandom's Thomas and Friends soundtrack. It is insanely good. I would give yourself a pat on the back. I Totally agree! Aside from the fact this Re-orchestrated was made years (or maybe a decade plus?), after the film's release, why this wasn't in the film I may never understand...
I actually played both the chase from that movie alongside this music, and if you start them both around the same time, the music actually coincides very well with the scene.
This actually works in every Quidditch scene in Harry Potter. Now just imagine Edward trying to catch the Snitch from Gordon as a James or Gordon as beater! (Gordon would be a more of a seeker tho, oh and yeah, I used Edward instead of Thomas cuz why not? He's been through with both engines most several times than Thomas)

The director is confirmed to be the one who made Christopher Robin, he claimed that he took this project on because he has been a life long fan of T&F. Hopefully, by next year there’ll be more news about it. But hearing it is the director from Christopher Robin, I think it will be a film about the Rev. I picture this in a movie where James is out of control with a heavy train of trucks again only with Fuel Tankers, as Thomas and Edward head off to the rescue. The Fuel Tankers caught fire until, he was almost about to collide into Gordon and the express around the corner, when Edward manages to couple up to the brakevan as Thomas' triumphant theme plays into him tieing the rope on James' buffer (as a homage to Old Iron) which lead him to set his brakes in the nick of time. Imagine if this as a cinematic chase!

James was trying to slow down as he went down the hill, but the trucks refused to let him stop. "On, on, on!" they yelled. James pressed hard on his brakes, only for there to be trouble. His brakes were on fire! "Oh, dear!" James yelled as he rocketed down the track towards a fleeing doe. "I can't stop!" he puffed as he screeched past Tidmouth Sheds, where Thomas was watching. "Poor James... I'd like to teach those trucks a lesson," Thomas muttered. Unbeknownst to Thomas, James was still unable to stop. "I have to stop! I WANT to stop! Please, I'm begging you! Let me stop!" he shouted at the trucks. But it was too late. James flew off the rails, his black paint grinding against the rocks. Some of the trucks were smashed into smithereens. Luckily, James's driver and fireman got out in time. But poor James would need someone to save him.
Honestly, This is quite a great number, having grown up with Thomas, The only gripe I would have to say is that while this one sounds like Thomas swooped in and saved the day, the original Made it sound as if a crash had indeed happened rather then avoiding disaster. Other then that, I give this a good 9/10

Speaking of that, I have Custom playlists of all Thomas and Friends videos (except ones with trailers involving other shows) that are distributed by Artisan Home Entertainment/BMG Video, and Walt Disney Home Entertainment from 2001 - 2008.
I do plan to re-release Artisan playlists by creating the Pre-Artisan versions and the Disney DVD re-releases.
These playlists have Ringo Starr US Narrations from Seasons 1 & 2 except Everything else.

James was trying to slow down as he went down the hill, but the trucks refused to let him stop. "On, on, on!" they yelled. James pressed hard on his brakes, only for there to be trouble. His brakes were on fire! "Oh, dear!" James yelled as he rocketed down the track towards a fleeing doe. "I can't stop!" he puffed as he screeched past Tidmouth Sheds, where Thomas was watching. "Poor James... I'd like to teach those trucks a lesson," Thomas muttered.
Unbeknownst to Thomas, James was still unable to stop. "I have to stop! I WANT to stop! Please, I'm begging you! Let me stop!" he shouted at the trucks. But it was too late. James flew off the rails, his black paint grinding against the rocks. Some of the trucks were smashed into smithereens. Luckily, James's driver and fireman got out in time. But poor James would need someone to save him.

Honestly, This is quite a great number, having grown up with Thomas, The only gripe I would have to say is that while this one sounds like Thomas swooped in and saved the day, the original Made it sound as if a crash had indeed happened rather then avoiding disaster. Other then that, I give this a good 9/10
