Bike Of The Day: Moto Guzzi MGS-01

Moto Guzzi Sport, Number 1 - that’s what MGS-01 stood for. Doesn’t matter what you called it, it was an unexpected taste of what Guzzi would be capable of if they wanted to rub shoulders with Ducati or Aprilia in the exotic, red-blooded Italian sportbike game. We have one up for auction at Iconic right now, so Abhi wanted to share a little info on this rare Guzzi!

Most iconic Moto Guzzi!! As I Moto Guzzi Audace 1400 owner I love it and as an ex BMW R1100S owner I love it even more!! Dream garage would have this and a BMW HP2 Sport!

You've got great taste in bikes! I love the R1100S I used to have (got totaled after someone hit it when it was parked on the street) and I've got a HP2 Megamoto (not a Sport yet, though).

Beautiful guzzi. I had the Imola v35 in the 90s and learned to love these motors. I would like to finish riding with the tt850 😊

Can't blame you! It'll be interesting to see what the new owner decides to do with it. The buyer of the last MGS-01 we sold (iconicmotorbikeauctions.com/auction/2004-moto-guzzi-mgs-01-corsa/) used it as a track bike, which was great to hear.
