    THATS A NICE LOAD OF LOGS. I LIKE THE HEIGHT YOU HAVE YOUR SAWMILL SETTING, I SEE MOST GUYS WITH IT WAY DOWN LOW AND THERE ALL BENT OVER TRYING TO USE IT, TRYING TO LOOK UNDER THER BLADE TO SEE WHATS GOING ON. THAT PAVILION TURNED OUT REALLY NICE. WHAT SPECIES OF LUMBER DID YOU USE ON IT ? THANKS FOR SHARING

    Looks like red cypress w/ some decent heart, couldn't of made a better choice. Mix you up a 20% solution of boric acid and ethylene glycol and saturate the timbers, will add to the lifespan of the timbers. Nice build. Regards.

    What’s with using the planer to rib the surface? Was that to imitate a hewn log or for another reason?

    • @deepwoodslife2220
      @deepwoodslife2220  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes. Just to give it a texture similar to a hewn beam. Thanks

    Quick question, what kind of tree was used for the wood? Just curious.

      Cut them out of two 5x10 sheets of 1/4 steel.
