Canadian education for international students often feels like a scam. Many institutions lack basic facilities, and the quality is comparable to parallel colleges in India but with sky-high fees. Professors often seem disengaged, and classes don't justify the session costs, which can be over INR 50K each. Most courses offered in Canada are available in India with better quality and at a fraction of the cost. If education is your priority, consider India's top institutions first. If PR is the goal, think hard about life as a Canadian citizen-high costs, labor-intensive jobs, paying off mortgages, and living a life that might not meet your expectations. Choose wisely.

Studying in Canada is not a scam. I am born in Fiji, raised in Canada since the 1970's and am a Canadian citizen. I went to public school here from kindergarten to grade 13( OAC). Then went to York university...a public university not diploma mill. The problem is International indian students are not going to well know Universities like U of T, York, Toronto Metropolitan, Guelph, Brock, Queens, or Colleges such as Humber, Sheridan, Seneca, George Brown. Instead they are going to diploma mills, set up especially for them..then they wonder why there are no Canadians in their classes. Well thats because the schools you are going to are not real schools, they are diploma mills, you are not going to get a quality education there. Secondly International indian students are all mostly taking classes like Business..You international indian students need to take some accountability for your choices and stop blaming our Government. You aren't even citizens blame your Indian Government. Its Canadians who have the right to blame our Government, we are the real victims here. We are feeling the effects of mass immigration. Canadians can't even find jobs because you students have taken them all, not to mention housing. You can't even do this video in English.

Canadians are raised to not hate and to embrace diversity (including being taught this in all daycares/schools). People need to look at all sides.
India has a 29% unemployment rate amongst it's own graduates. One of the big reasons why young people are leaving India in droves, yes? Plus less than 50% of the 950 million working-age population in India is employed (compared to over 70% in other emerging markets). Amongst the Indian working group, many are self-employed and contain “unpaid helpers in family enterprises”. India has one of the highest emigration rates in the world. As many zero in on education as a way to gain access to a western country?
Did international students/families pay into Canadian taxes all their lives like domestic students have (earning cheaper tuition fees)? No. Plus Canada did NOT tell international students/parents to spend/risk their life savings on a "Canadian dream". Canada did NOT tell international students to borrow money. Canada did NOT promise international students work. Canada did NOT promise international students money. Canada did NOT promise international students PERMANENT RESIDENCY.
Meanwhile freelance agents have been operating in an unbridled market in India. Often by painting a distorted picture of what students can receive from Canada. Plus in recent years, a new type of recruitment has cropped up via foreign nationals as many "edu-tech" have created online platforms to connect millions of potential students with the recruiters. The sub-agents have absolutely no no direct connection with the Canadian college. Plus the college has no no ability to control their conduct. Indian sham operations abused/abusing Indian students in person &/or via massive advertising ... PRIMARILY in their native language that most Canadians do NOT understand. They paint a false picture in the minds of their own people (of what Canada could or would or should offer Indians)!
Canadians are seeing primarily Indians protesting & waving their flags on Canadian streets making demands. Because they may not have enough credentials to remain in Canada? And because rules designed to protect CANADA are not meeting their desires? Why isn't there crowds of African or Caribbean or Filipino etc., students making demands? They're in Canada too.
And even though Canada is being falsely/unfairly blamed for too much, Canada has yet to deport students like crazy (but likely will soon). Instead Canada has been trying trying to find balance of who can stay vs go. While also trying to fix anything Canada did wrong. Create a better future. Why? Because Canadians actually care about doing so for both Canadians and international students.
Canada's own youth are also victims of the above mentioned scam artists now too. Due to a severe lack of homes & entry jobs now in Canada partially due to Indian STUDENTS swarming all post-secondary SCHOOLS ... with the vast majority fighting for PR vs returning home when their SCHOOLING ends! Many asking for asylum too (which rarely leads to PR).
    Questions:
⦁ What is India doing about any of this? After Canada told India to halt Ghost Consulting? Many Indians keep saying their politicians are corrupt. Plus Canada didn't have numerous PRIVATE 'diploma mills' until 40% of international students were from India. Many in or near Brampton Ontario, and Surrey British Columbia, where most Indians have lived. Coincidence? Schools that Canada is now shutting down.
⦁ What about all the YT videos that primarily Indian nationals have posted (for half a decade now including today) all advertising Canadian PR like they're selling a shirt? Promoting Canadian visas & permits & schools & jobs etc. etc.. Videos not only posted hourly but rarely in English or French. With very very rare input from Canadian citizens.
⦁ What about the IELTS spouses? Anchor babies?
⦁ What about Canadian food banks & other charity services being recklessly advertised on YT in Indian languages?
⦁ What about Canadian housing being scooped up en-mass as investment vehicles by, and for, foreign nationals? Some home rental/boarding signs stating "vegetarians only can apply". Often these 'landlords' also cram 20 students in a small home and charge them each way too much for rent.
⦁ What about Indian nationals buying local businesses then repeatedly putting Indians only in the top tier positions (while also changing familiar work practices)? BC & Ontario are also outlawing the Caste System.
⦁ What about the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortions across Canada? Diasporas stirring up tribal hatreds (in Canada) even though it all stems from their ancestral home. Why????????
⦁ What about the Canadian government launching investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections, stemming from Asia continent? Canada also had to end flagpoling at the border.
Canadians are so so so not used to all this!! Do Indians care about Canadians suffering too?
Or do they primarily want to point fingers at the Canadian government etc., when many things weren't in Canada's control? Why should Canada pay for what Indians did to Indians?
Canadians want multi-culturism to succeed and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Now everyone I know is VERY happy with IRCC's recent changes (reductions & multifaceted investigations etc.). Including multi-generational long-term Asian Canadians MOST upset (by all of this).
PS Immigration being decreased in: Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, The Maritimes, Alberta, Saskatchewan, & Manitoba. Chances are better for homebuilders, healthcare-givers and job creators.

      Ans:
There is no official statement or any bilateral talk between the Governments that support your statement. If you have any source please provide, since I could have missed it.
Yes, Politicians are corrupt in India, but that has nothing to do with Mass Immigration. Canadian Owned and operated Colleges and Universities have International Student Advisor and a drdicated department that travel to India every year to advertise their college.
They host education fair. Just search 'Study Abroad Education fair in Hyderabad' you will see how many educational institutions send their representatives to prospective countries around the world.
Public colleges Outsourcing their brand to private colleges is in hands College board, Ministry of Education and the Trustee. No Govt of India or Int'l students.
The truth is colleges failed to maintain their quality of education because all they wanted was the money coming in from students.
Ministry failed to maintain thr proper licensing and Quality standards that a college hosting International students have.
Not a coincidence but a planned strategy to attract students from India.
I was shocked when I saw no Canadian student in my class.

Promoting Canadian visas & permits & schools & jobs etc. etc... Videos not only posted hourly but rarely in English or French. With very very rare input from Canadian citizens.
Advertising Canadian PR opportunities is not inherently wrong, especially considering that the Canadian government itself has been promoting immigration for a long time. Canada is one of the few countries in the world with a dedicated Ministry of Immigration, which highlights the importance the nation places on attracting immigrants. The issue lies not with the immigrants but with the systemic lapses and loopholes present within the visa and immigration processes. Blaming the individuals taking advantage of these opportunities overlooks the fact that they are navigating within a system that allows such practices.A fitting analogy would be: if you sell honey in an open farm, you will inevitably attract ants at some point. For instance, the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) specifies that international students can apply for permanent residency through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program after obtaining one year of full-time work experience in a TEER 3 occupation. However, the guidelines lacked crucial details, such as wage requirements or more specific criteria for eligible job roles. This allowed individuals working part-time in positions like restaurant cashiers to transition into management roles, thus qualifying for the TEER 3 category. Employers, in turn, benefited by securing labor at below-market rates, while employees gained a pathway to permanent residency.Despite being aware of this, the IRCC did not take sufficient action to close these loopholes. This highlights how systemic gaps, rather than immigrant actions, contribute to the challenges within the immigration system.

We were taught not to hate and to be polite, but it seems that many groups took that politeness for weakness and now Canadians have become quite a bit more hostile. We are sick of people who think that scamming and cheating their way through life here somehow makes them smarter than Canadians. When these people are caught in their scams and lies, they cry racism and scream about what an injustice it is that they were caught. I have heard many groups, but especially Punjabi "students," say that Canadians are lazy and that we "don't want to work." We want wages that keep up with cost of living that the flood of groups like Punjabis have contributed to. Punjabis have become the scabs crossing the picket line in Canada, and as they cross the picket line they call Canadians lazy. When Canadians call them scabs, they cry racism. Do not expect us to be polite now.

  • @MuhammadAhsan-zi7oq

I’m sorry, but I don’t agree with you. Please don’t blame the government for this situation. The government didn’t send the invitations to students to come to Canada; it is up to the students to "apply" for their own visas.Student "applied" for visa. It is the student’s responsibility to research and understand the visa application process before making plans to come to Canada.
If students choose to use consultants, that is their personal decision, but it is not a requirement set by the government. Some students may find consultants helpful for filling out forms and navigating the application process, but many others manage to handle the process on their own. My friends, for instance, never used a consultant and successfully completed their applications without issue.
Students should ideally have enough knowledge and education to complete the visa application process independently. The government does not mandate the use of consultants, nor does it imply that applications will be approved only if submitted with the help of a consultant. It is important for students to be proactive and informed about the requirements and procedures involved in applying for a visa to Canada.
Additionally, the government does not choose the courses for the students; that decision is up to the individuals themselves.
I do have sympathy for the students facing challenges, but it’s important to understand that taking personal responsibility and being well-informed about the application process can help avoid many of these issues.

An entire generation (15-35) thinks their ability to get a job, afford rent, buy a house, not feel like a minority in their own country is because of mass immigration. People are downplaying the deep racial tension this experiment has caused as a blip. Immigration will continue but they will remove (make it harder) the incentive structure that broke their system. Greetings. I am presented with the opportunity to pursue a Master's degree in either Northeastern University's Program of Informatics in Information Security Management or Fairleigh Dickinson University's Master of Science in Applied Computer Science with a specialization in Advanced Computer Programming. Both programs are scheduled to commence in January 2025. I am eager to solicit your guidance on which institution would be the most advantageous choice for my academic and professional aspirations.

    Students fault 100%

Yes i agree it's 100% students fault but also the government of Canada know everything about the situation but why they put a cap now they should have restricted a lot before also why to letting those colleges run when they know their education is meaningless they are boosting their economy because of students, it's a fully made trap by canada but i completely agree as an individual student is 100% responsible for his own

@@piyushtiwari8121 you think students don't know what programs they are taking?
Even in India we know these programs will not give us jobs, on top of that institutes in an apartment building with no infrastructure, this happens in India a lot too, students are 100% to blame. You can't even get your own country India to stop setting up these Universities and you are expecting foreign country to take care of you?
Biggest example is Chaudhary Charan Singh University, 5th grades were caught checking copies of college graduates lmao.

@@polaris1985student know about the value of PGDM very well but they come because they think they will get the job According to their educational skills and qualifications but the reality here it's all blue collar jobs that's is what they don't know when they come from India, the trap is canada is a country of blue collar jobs this thing should be

Secondly they know very well student whoever is coming to this country is not for study they are coming for work otherwise they should completely ban giving work permit to students after meaningful study courses automatically no student will come to this country if they will ban the work permit but canada government is not doing it because they want revenue from students

    • @piyushtiwari8121
