- I used my Canon Powershot A810 video camera and tripod to film all of the clips in this video at Manchester Airport between May and November 2014. I used Windows Movie Maker to edit all of the raw video clips I filmed to create this video here, which only uses content I myself filmed and fully own.
Here's 30 takeoffs in just over 7 minutes at Manchester Airport on runway 23L.

i am surprised that 2nd American Airlines that took off still has that polished aluminum livery! the best livery AA ever had, IMO i have yet to see one :( i thought they completely got rid of it

I think the 747's are beautiful aircrafts. There's just something about the way she was designed that screams power. I've flown in both the A380 and the 747 and my favorite is the Boeing. The Airbus is so massive that she doesn't have any beauty to her lines.
Too bad the 747's are being retired from most airlines :(

+Ray Brax Yeah I was thinking about that the other day. It seems like most, not all, major accidents i.e (midair collisions, Pan Am 103, Tenerife, all the mid-80s and 90s hijackings, JAL 123, TWA 800) I'm sure there's more. Most of those were from human error but they all involved the 747s. I guess the pilots flying them just had bad luck. I just hate to see them be phased out.

Some of them are A330's e.g. 0:24. And some of them are 777 e.g. 4:16.
They look very similar; some of the differences are: The A330 has winglets, 777 not, A330 has 2 main gear each side, 777 3 main gear each side...
