5:23 LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL AND AWESOME CLIMB ON ITS TAKEOFF.... IT WAS FROM THOSE *MONSTER ENGINES* ON THE HANDS OF THE BOEING 757. IT'S STEEP AND *POWERFUL* AS A MIGHTY BEAST OUT THERE!!!!! THATS WHY I *LOVE* THE 757 SO MUCH!!!! THEY'RE *AWESOME* AND VERY *COOL* WITH THOSE *POWERFUL ENGINES!!* I guess the 757 is the plane I am ALWAYS want to see 24/7... The 757 would say: "WE ALWAYS HAVE THE RESISTANCE OF THE WAYS TO CREATE THE MIGHTY ENGINES OF *ROLL-ROYCE POOOWWWEERRRR!!!!!!!"*
I'm pretty sure they call it the "spool up". They aply about 50% or so power at first and wait to see if both engines stabilize. If they didn't do this and they didn't stabilize, one engine would have more power and the plane would veer off the runway. I think that's why they do it but I could be wrong. Sorry my reply is so late lol...
5:25 THE power......OH YESSS THE power... *LOOK AT THIS STEEP CLIMB!!!!* THOSE ROLL-ROYCE ENGINES.....this plane is.....SUPER FREAKING *COOOOOOOOOLLLLL!!!!!!!* 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
You did a wonderful job on this! I really enjoyed it. I like how you shot the start of the takeoff roll and tied it into the rotation. It was all great, but the SIA 773 and UA752 looked especially nice. Subscribed!
yeah. the american carriers tend to use 757s on the thinner european routes like manchester. delta airlines has a subset of their 757 fleet configured for international use.
Yeah, the new livery looks better than the old one because it looks smoother and sleeker The old livery looks like a prototype plane that's just straight from the factory
ALRIGHT ALL YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT THE 757s AND THE 777s BUT THE A380 IS A BEAST THE ENGINE SOUND IS GREAT AND IT IS JUST AWESOME BESIDES IT ALSO HAS FIRST CLASS APARTMENTS AND SHOWERS
Well, the APU is basically what starts the plane, it provides power for electric and hydraulic systems that allows them to start up the engines. It is also used in emergencies, if an engine or generator fails they'll sometimes use the APU to generate enough power. Think of it as a huge generator.
That's so ghetto American sending a 757-200 to Europe from the U.S.? Really? That has to be an uncomfortable flight. The 757 is suck a narrow body plane and the seats are tiny. How does it not run out of fuel?
Wait the Virgin Atlantic is going to London Heathrow from Manchester which is only 150 miles apart. WTF whts the point its cheaper to take a taxi or train or just drive. Why a £10 million plane
the_jetsetter BIIIITTTTTCCCCCHHHHH YOO A380 IS AWESOME U JUST HAVEN'T WENT ON IT.IT HAS NICEASS FIRST CLASS SEATS WITH A SHOWER AND A BAR AT THE BACK AND THE CONTROLS ARE REALLY RESPONSIVE.I WISH THE A380 WOULD FLATTEN YOUR UGLYASS ON THE RUNWAY

0:17 BEST SOUND IN THE WORLD!!! To me at least!
Engine spool up sounds are amazing in general.
+Avery Sieben Mah bro! (or sistah). That whale-like sound has been music to my ears ever since. Anyone knows what exactly causes it?
I'm pretty sure they call it the "spool up". They aply about 50% or so power at first and wait to see if both engines stabilize. The 757 of American can make a route with Manchester from the US?
yeah. the american carriers tend to use 757s on the thinner european routes like manchester. delta airlines has a subset of their 757 fleet configured for international use.
rigdon Thanks for the answer, dude.
Harry Rb United does the Manchester to Washington DC-Dulles on a 757. I take it at least four times a year. Its a very comfortable flight.
Right. 757's are so narrow body and have small seats. That has to be an uncomfortable flight.
No not likely it would probably be able to make a flight from Road Island to Manchester but not from New York or any city south of it
Phenomenal video!
Can we have more videos pls??!!
Did you film the Boeing 757s with PW4000 Engines?
I never knew american had the new livery on the 757! Looks AWESOME
Yeah, the new livery looks better than the old one because it looks smoother and sleeker
The old livery looks like a prototype plane that's just straight from the factory
Thx awesome video

First Choice 767 was beautiful

How does an American 757 have the range to go Manchester to Stateside
+Jonah Ullum
It was built for long-range flights.
o ant the engines of that Thompson 787 look like they don't spin at all
GE-90!!!!!!!!!
Had no idea Manchester so this busy
Do you know this kid named Adam?
Super schönes video
Does that tiny hole in the back have any purpose?
Sanpedranoazul That's the APU exhaust
EarthlyBread What´s the purpose of it?
Well, the APU is basically what starts the plane, it provides power for electric and hydraulic systems that allows them to start up the engines. It is also used in emergencies, if an engine or generator fails they'll sometimes use the APU to generate enough power. Think of it as a huge generator.
EarthlyBread Tks!

02Nawal I went from Sydney to Saigon (Ho-Chi-Minh) city in a 777-200 once and that felt small.
The 757 is commonly used on transatlantic routes. Personally I think 6 across planes are better than 10 across like om Boeing 747.
02Nawal Big fuel tanks! An extended range 757-200 can carry as much as 77,000lbs of fuel, but it only burns 7,000 an hour.
Pilot Porn
exactly
does anyone else think that the a380 shouldn't be able to fly. its way to big
I saw a us airways plane at the back of the plane
I wish I was on the A330 right now...
757 Wins xD
Wait the Virgin Atlantic is going to London Heathrow from Manchester which is only 150 miles apart. WTF whts the point its cheaper to take a taxi or train or just drive. Why a £10 million plane
Hassan Khan the a320 was not purchased for such short routes anyway
Hassan Khan Airplanes are faster than cars.
A380 is one ugly ass piece of equipment
