Hand Painted Ceramic Ornaments! Christmas Balls DIY Project

Happy Holidays! Here is a quick video (sped up) of how I painted these ornaments. I was inspired by simple grasses and leaves and used colors such as ochre, blue green, vintage white and indigo. I added a fringed ribbon using linen fabric I had on hand and sewed a striped pattern with matching green thread for a little more detail. As an added gifting touch, I sewed a burlap pouch with fabric tie. I think the colors overall go together.
Materials:
Ceramic bisque balls (comes with metal cap/hook)
Acrylic paints (I used Folkart matte)
Craft brushes-various sizes for coating and detail work
Fabric for ribbons
Burlap fabric (available in fabric store or local garden center)
Water container/rag or paper towels for cleaning
drying rack that can hold the balls
Palette (paper palette or old dish for paints)
Sewing machine/thread
