    NYC seems to be full of warm, eccentric characters! I actually liked the photo of the man on the motorbike. It looked like a painting with all the colours bleeding away from each other. Very nice.

    The concept of "you get what you give" is so true with photography. Even though I kinda look scary with my bald head and long beard, giving a big goofy smile always breaks the ice, especially when doing street photography! I kinda like being able to switch to a mean-mug if need be, sometimes it comes in handy 😅 99% of the time though, positivity is all you need! Loving the POVs!!

      A goofy smile is honestly the best icebreaker! I am so glad that you are beginning to see and feel this for yourself! Honestly! You just made my day! And you are so right, the expressions you give really determine what reaction you get and if you think a character would be better mean mugging, then you my friend are all over it! 99% of the time positive is most definitely all you need. Such a great comment, thanks again for stopping by and supporting me on this journey!

      @@ForeverSeen love seeing your work! Glad to see you posting so much lately, you've got me inspired to post more on IG and get back to editing POVs again! Honestly, I just wish I could make POVs every day... the freelance thing is always a wild ride and it makes me want to be able to just make content full-time, but we gotta pay those bills eh? Positivity for the win! Keep kicking ass!!

      Thanks so much. I hear you on the ride. It's really difficult. But if we love what we do and we are consistent enough at it, universe dictates it will pay off. Lets just wait and see :)

      That is so kind of you. Yes I hear you, but as I said before, if you love it which you obviously do then life isn’t the same without it!

    Omg, great video. I like the way you approach people. I finally asked strangers for pictures yesterday. It was messy, awkward but i guess if i do it again and again, it might come more naturaly like you. The pictures i took aew not good at all because i was so nervous lol but ill keep them as a trophy for breaking another fear. Thanks again. You guys are absolutely awsome.

    • @ForeverSeen

      Definitely keep them as a trophy!!!!!!!!! You must! I remember my first time approaching it was so horrible and I hated the photos and felt so disheartened. Don’t give up!!... Keep getting out there and keep confronting those fears. It is the only way you will truly progress! Good on you for getting out there! Thank you for sharing your journey with me. Means a lot hearing your support!

    I was struck by how different Brooklyn is from Manhattan, different yet the same. There seemed be be a more raw, edgy vibe, a lot looser than on the island. I think you really brought that out by the subjects you picked out and those you let go by and of course your approach to them is disarming and pleasant, all of which results in the excellent shots you got. I don’t have the same dense crop to harvest from in my area but the same techniques and approach you use get the same results anywhere since it’s meeting people on their own terms, one on one. Clearly NYC lights you up and it’s great to see and experience if only vicariously at the moment!

    • @ForeverSeen
      @ForeverSeen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NYC definitely lights me up ha. So great that you understand the techniques can be applied to any neighbourhood. Some areas are more dense with characters than others but there are always characters about. And with that, it’s great that you are out there with your camera making the most of it!!! NYC has pockets of characters everywhere. I’m so excited to get up to queens and Harlem and do some POVs. I’m sure those are going to be amazing POVs!
