  • I got tired of have a messy charing situation at the end of my work bench and built a tiered metal stand for all of my drill and power tool batteries and chargers. This is a pretty easy project but is a big help in the shop.

    Longtime fan here a production welder. I routinely build things via jigs I’ve built, I’ve learned that if I grind a slight radius on things such as the corner of spacers and framing squares you don’t have those minor clearance issues that push you out of square. Still awesome work. Keep on keepin on brother.

    Is there any issue with having charger equipment on a stand grounded to the welding table?

    Do you wish you made them all slanted after the mistake worked out well?

    Had any problems with that new saw and no clamping to secure the material you're cutting? I've had material walk on 45° cuts on my fein slugger and grenade the blades. Curious if you are having trouble holding the material when you're performing the cuts???

      I retract that question😀 I just seen the clamping mechanism 😆😆😆

    You don't always have to work with rechargeable batteries, especially not in the workshop, where there is a socket on every corner. A chop saw or a compressor with a battery is anyway the biggest nonsense there is.

    Maybe it’s just me but I’ve been thinking of going to a fire retardant method of charging
    Self contained Metal cabinet as lithium batteries have a tendency of combusting

  • @tdimccullough
    @tdimccullough ปีที่แล้ว

    it probably would have been any cheaper to make the charging station with wood

    • @frigginpos
      @frigginpos ปีที่แล้ว

      Welders don't weld wood. Also, wood in a welding shop leads to fires. Pay the extra money and build with steel.
