My brother wants one can for his ar15 and ar10. He wants to make sure he gets the best one possible that is good at everything. It will see mag dumps but no actual full auto.
A note about 6.5 Jesusmoor: I advocated for 6.5mm rounds for year. 6.5x55mm, 6.5x47mm, and 6.5x50mm (just in an Arisaka; I wouldnt recommend chambering a new rifle in it) are great rounds but I got scoffed at. Now 6.5 Creedmoor is all the rage and everyones gotta have one. I feel vindicated but it's bittersweet. I was, however, scoffed at by people who thought 6.5 was too small of a bullet while using a .25-06 to shoot deer, so I'm still working on that on.

Excellent video! I run mine (Inconel verison) with a Keymo no extension as the shorter micro brakes/flash hiders (Lantac Dragon Wolfman Keymo) work great.

Remember folks PewScience delivers the highest quality information and characterization of fast transients, however dont get it twisted just because the rating is high on one test host platform doesnt mean it will perform the same on others. If your specific use case is on a .308 bolt gun with that barrel length and ammunition youll get the same results, deviate from the test platform and your results will be different. In short we only have data for what we have data on. Maybe in the future we will have all the calibers tested with all suppresors, until then its jelly bean time.
That's pretty crazy to see an all titanium suppressor being full-auto rated... I couldn't really see any in the video but does it start sparking when it heats up like just about every all titanium suppressors do?? But this is a really cool suppressor and great video as always keepem coming brother!!!

They’re starting to go faster on silencer shop that’s for sure. A lot of people get scared off by the price of their QD system but IMO they offer a lot for the price.
Yall had a typo. It's the 6.5 needmoor.....the Kyle's caliber. The Kyle starter kit also includes a pair of Sperry boat shoes "no boat necessary", a flat bill flexfit hat, a saltlife sticker, and an optional tribal tattoo.
Great video as usual. I’d definitely appreciate a video on the mounting options for the cans that have the 1.375x24 threads, especially the Helios. I just recently got the Inconel version out of jail and am very happy with it but I don’t care for using it with Keymo.
Look at thr YHM Kurz mount with the single port brake. Similar to keymo but doesnt require the adapter ring so your silencer is 7.2 inches long instesd of 9 inches long with adapter ring + keymo

Lets be honest… Unless you’re shooting 8“ 5.56 or belt fed, you’re never going to shoot out a titanium can. You might be able to get one leaded up, but my guess is that a few trips through an ultrasonic cleaner will cure that problem.
I’m pretty sure you can’t throw Ti in an ultrasonic. I’m also pretty sure you could shoot out a Ti can pretty easily on a 10.3 if you were shooting fast paced drills
On a select fire doing mag dumps, I’d buy that. Especially a direct thread. But I think you could shoot 1 mag every 2 minute for a very long time without doing damage. I’ve got a Ti can on an 11.5 with over 1260 rounds through it (including a carbine course) that still looks great on bore scope. But it’s QD so I’m sure the muzzle device is eating some of that blast. I have not put it in an ultrasonic cleaner but I wouldn’t hesitate to try it.

This was great, I loved the video just like every other video from AA. That 5.56 sounded louder suppressed than any of the other guns, so maybe not a good 5.56 host but everything else sounds great.
@@TennisPro4686289 it may have been but per pewscience it’s louder than a SF RC2 and OSS at least on a Mk18. It obviously has more versatility than those two but it lacks in performance on 5.56

Just another glance at the review and it’s 22.2 vs 22.3. So the SF is basically within the margin of error at the ear and over 10 points quieter at the muzzle. Not really a comparison
What I would say that is more than anything is 556 is an extremely hard round to suppress. You can look at pew science's numbers in his 556 testing and even the best cans by his scale only offer "minimal suppression" on 556. Thanks for watching!
Wow! What a great video. SUBBED! I had been considering something like the Omega 36m because I liked the modularity of it and the fact that it would be used on multiple calibers. It sounds like this Helios QD Ti can also be used with multiple calibers. And I'll add my vote to the "Please do a mounts and adapters video" list. :) I'm confused by much of this. I want something a simple and reliable as possible. I had wanted the ability to has a flash hider that I could mount a suppressor on, but frankly, for my dedicated 556 rifle, I might just go with a dedicated 556 suppressor. Dang... so many questions. Can I buy some of your time for consulting. :)

Awesome video. I've ordered the New 2022 GQ Paladin PDW Pistol. What do you recommend for muzzle device & attachment device for the Helios QD Ti (this is my exact suppressor)? I would prefer less fuss for switching between suppressed & unsuppressed. I do not want the extra extension in length and I don't plan on switching the suppressor to other weapons.
Well I’d recommend either switching out the Cherry Bomb that comes on the gun to one of the muzzle devices by either Rearden or Liberty defense and then running the Rearden Atlas in the back of the Helios. Or, you could keep the Cherry bomb on the gun and use the Atlas XL in the back of the Helios. This adds a little length but not as much as the extension. That’s what I’d do. Thanks for watching.

It did not look like the adapter was in the gq paladin? Did u take the cherry bomb off it ? The gq paladin is my next purchase or the mini fix. Both have the cheery bomb right? I’m also going to look for a good can for it. I have the hybrid 46 now but it so big. I’m looking for something I can also make small to put on my 9 mm pistols. But also will work on the gq paladin and possibly a 10.5 POF 556 Any recommendations? Ps I want to shoot with y’all and learn. Best ch on you tube in my opinion. My fist gun was the 10 mm banshee and it’s so fun. From your videos I made that choice.
That’s too bad about the extension plus the DA Keymo being so long. I’m pretty invested in Keymo. But I really like the 3D printed idea. I’ll have to hang on and see what comes next in this line. Exciting stuff tho.

You don’t need the adapter ring to use keymo.

If you can afford to do full auto mag dumps, you can probably afford to replace a titanium suppressor! Just saying my 0.02 cents

I'd like to know if the internal dimensions or baffle style is diffrent in the Helios Direct thread compared to the Helios QD TI.
Just the mount interface is different, the baffles are the same. However, that difference in mount interface changes the performance.

That’s too bad about the extension plus the DA Keymo being so long. I’m pretty invested in Keymo. But I really like the 3D printed idea. I’ll have to hang on and see what comes next in this line. Exciting stuff tho.
