I pray for the day when the Fireblade is priced like its Japanese rivals, as it used to be. Exotic pricing for a Japanese inline 4 just doesn't work. Sadly, it remains unattainable for the average sport bike rider as a result. That's why I bought a ZX10R. Would still like to see one on your channel tho.

It may not have character like R1, RSV4, or V4, but it’s still a great bike.

I think in our current era the most “special” of the super bikes are the RSV4. The Ducati and the BMW might have a more overall premium package, but Aprilia V4 bikes just have a more special and powerful feel to them that I think in the future people will look back at them as the bike to have. I’m definitely looking at this as my next purchase. Reliability of my prior fireblades keep me buying. Just hoping Manny you’ll carry more parts for this one.
Mani be one of the first to get one I would love to see what you can do with this build.🙏🙏 I own a r1m but I am a huge Honda fan. They were my first four bikes. My first, 1998 cbr600 2nd 2000 cbr 929 fireblade that I got shipped from Canada to Puerto Rico when are used to live there . It’s was cool because I was the only one with a whole different color scheme, and the only one that actually said fireblade on the side of the bike because the European and the bikes that were shipped to Canada had a different color scheme from the US models. Then I got a 2002 CBR 600. In 2007 I bought my CBR Repsol. Because I was a big fan of Nicky Hayden. He just finished winning the championship in 2006 and the 2007 Repsol had his name and number on it. Would love to see you get this bike and do a build.🙏🙏

Manny, I love your videos and especially the beautiful bikes you build. I like how you explain things simple and easy for those of us that are not so mechanically inclined. Keep up the great work@@Motomillion
I’m the one that won 650ib Fireblade. You are right about the heavy steering on the Fireblade. when I purchased the new V4R I rode it and then went back home, and I pulled the Fireblade out and rode it and I can tell the handling was totally different from the V4R. I felt more confident and faster on the V4R Can’t wait to take it to the track. Great video
I would be interested in knowing if the split throttle bodies can be turned off so it functions on all four cylinders all of the time, whether it be a function of the standard electronic settings or through an aftermarket ecu flash. I know that the function of the throttle bodies being an optional on or off setting are not brought up in any bike journalist review from Portimao so i guess it would have to be an ecu flash.
I owned a CBR929 when it came out, I didn't like the looks after the CBR954. The 2024 1000rr-r still does not make me crazy about the styling. A ducati V4 or my BMW S1000RR, those turn my head every day. But sorry Honda, your styling just isn't cutting it.
Will it be worth it? Really depends on the reviews and performance. I would guess it’s going to be close in price to a Panigale SP2 which is a proven winner. So do you risk going with an unknownish or spend the money on something that you know will perform? It’s going to be interesting to see the reviews for sure.
I think it's the most trustworthy bike in terms of reliability, because it's Honda. But looks wise it's behind Ducati. The Panigale V4 looks a lot sharper, especially with its single sided swingarm, I mean even the V2 has a single sided swingarm, so I don't know why Hoda can't do it. I have the 2003 954RR Fireblade and it's incredible, but if I had $30K I'm not sure I would get the new 2024 model or go with Ducati for the looks, or even save a bit of money by going with the V2. In terms of performance and handling I havent tested either so I dont know, I have to rely on reviews to formulate an opinion.
When you see rubber lines on a 28k Honda Fireblade SP and steel lines on a similar Aprilia RSV4 Factory priced at 23k, who needs Honda? Both have Ohlins, brembo...
Honda should have keep the name Blackbird and just made the bike better, putting money into it. Then , in the long run it would have paid off. Money is the biggest factor 20s will get the sales 30 s will slow sales down.
I feel like he forgot to mention the h2, which also goes for about the same price range. On paper, the h2 might seem like you're getting more bang for the buck
My uncle has had two ducs and a multiple of the other brands and he’s a nutcase on a street bike and he says he killed the ducs but could never kill the Suzuki and Honda
@@Motomillion I know you mentioned being a Honda guy, but yes, since as early as 96 from the ZX-7R days, it has been 7R, 6R, then 10R.. That is always Kawasaki, like yamaha being a R6, R1, etc
Honda BMW and Ducati are not the leaders just cause they win a few races. Kawasaki is a solid fast ride Suzuki and Aprilia as well as ktm are really strong brands. Seems like a sheltered opinion. I do like the BMW smart glasses and hope other brands will follow.
To me Japanese bikes have hardly changed over past 20 years or so. If I was gonna buy fireblade I’d buy the original, yeah new stuff has heaps more power , but for simplicity can’t be beat. Styling is also debatable 🤔? Gotta go European if you want some styling, innovation.

Great video
Kudas! You still have the Fireblade?
@@Motomillion Yes
I would be interested in knowing if the split throttle bodies can be turned off so it functions on all four cylinders all of the time, whether it be a function of the standard electronic settings or through an aftermarket ecu flash. I know that the function of the throttle bodies being an optional on or off setting are not brought up in any bike journalist review from Portimao so i guess it would have to be an ecu flash.
Ordered mine saturday should be here in june if it's on schedule 🎉
Lucky! Enjoy!
Let's do a cbr 1000 RRR build bro im'tired of Ducati on your Channel then do an Mv AGUSTA please
As soon as the bike is available, we will get our hands on it! And we have heavily considered an MV Agusta...
@@Motomillion do it bro
Or why do a build on a old gen bike...thanks with love from Paris...
Honda needs to put more 'R's if they are gonna convince me to buy the fireblade
😂
I'm waiting for you to start a new project on a cbr from long time ago!
We've been waiting too 😀
Yes, worth it, Awesome
Thank you!
Please do a bike build series on the new cbr.
That is the plan!
Honda should have keep the name Blackbird and just made the bike better,
putting money into it. Then , in the long run it would have paid off.
Money is the biggest factor 20s will get the sales 30 s will slow sales down.
I feel like he forgot to mention the h2, which also goes for about the same price range. On paper, the h2 might seem like you're getting more bang for the buck
Short Answerr: yes
Long Answer: no if you have the Money to buy a V4R/M1000RR
All about the price point. But it's such a beautiful bike!
My uncle has had two ducs and a multiple of the other brands and he’s a nutcase on a street bike and he says he killed the ducs but could never kill the Suzuki and Honda
Great in stock racing, not so much in supersports. Time will tell i guess Mani👍🏻
Time always reveals the truth !
@@MotomillionTrue enough sir
i think one day we able to buy Honda MotoGp with that price and specs.
This is actually their homologation bike. So it is the base they use to run in WSBK
yes
🙌
how come you guys only sell for liter bikes on your site?
It is the bikes currently we specialize.
I wonder when the next gen R1 comin?
Looks like 2025 model year.
Look very nice with all the improvements let hope she stays under 30k 🤔
I dont think this "upgrade" is as good as they claim.
Time will tell but I don't see higher horsepower and better downforce.
Time will tell! We are very eager to see exactly how it performs
Do it. Love Honda
Will DO!
Honda 🔥💯👍is worth
Based on the price, and for most users... NOPE not worth it. Hard to argue with what you get for your money for the 10R.
10R as in the ZX10R?
@@Motomillion I know you mentioned being a Honda guy, but yes, since as early as 96 from the ZX-7R days, it has been 7R, 6R, then 10R.. That is always Kawasaki, like yamaha being a R6, R1, etc
Honda BMW and Ducati are not the leaders just cause they win a few races. Kawasaki is a solid fast ride Suzuki and Aprilia as well as ktm are really strong brands. Seems like a sheltered opinion. I do like the BMW smart glasses and hope other brands will follow.
Shame you didn’t get one.
Another one
Yes!
They have not changed much in philosophy but the new bikes do feel much better to ride.
Why Manny you hate the best rider to ever grace the earth
Is that why he crashed 90% of the races this year?
The fireblade sp is cheaper than S1000rr in my country 🤣
What country is this?
@@Motomillion The Philippines. M package S1000rr is around $40,000. Sport Model is $30,000. The Fireblade is $29,050 taxes and all included. Its a dealer problem 😂 idk what the BMW dealer is smoking.
@@Motomillion Ducati is even worse the Panigale V4s is $45K. I would much rather get a Fireblade for $29k out the door
no it’s not worth it i love the old one
Which year Fireblade?
At back drop the Devil is listening everything 😈
telling us number aint boaring lol
👍👍👍❤❤❤
Thank you!
