About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

Beavers are very impressive engineers, fact that they can build a structure out of mud and sticks that can hold back that much pressure is amazing.
why dont we just hire them to make our dams
@@Viechibecause humans are the best engineers, what it took beavers to construct in weeks or months humans destruct in minutes
@@jamesadams893 i think my joke was really fast bc it went past by and u didnt get it
@@Viechilol of course it did. Dude gets little to no human interaction on the daily so he won’t pick up on sarcasm or jokes. He’s brain is wired to take everything serious cause his mom and dad didn’t teach him social skills
@@Viechi yea I guess your joke was so fast that it just blew by my sarcastic comment
Its nice to see someone who actually takes care of beavers, and is not doing this on a whim. From the description, "I do not choose which dam to remove", "Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage" and "I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too."
I never became a hunter, I don't hurt any animals, and even beavers don't bother me. If necessary, I simply remove the beaver dam and check after some time whether they have migrated to another place that does not interfere with nearby inhabitants.
That's why I'm surprised by the negative words about other TH-camrs about beavers and their beliefs that they are evil animals. They just are what they are, that's how they were created.
It is true that sometimes they can cause some damage - but that is why we as humans have the intelligence to coexist with nature.
Take care 🙂🦫
@@msTECH86 You are a truly amazing person.
@@Charlie-mh6fc Thank you for these words, but I'm just an ordinary guy 👋
Everyone loves a good beaver.
But the beavers build them exactly where they do for a reason.. It's always to foster the surrounding ecosystem.. The damage we would perceive that they cause pales in comparison to the damage we and everything else on the planet suffers due to such actions.. We need to rethink how we balance with nature.. 100% the immediate surrounding ecosystem has just suffered a major blow and we will all feel the consequences of such actions whether we realize it or not.. I'm not some climate change lunatic, that thinks lithium batteries are the answer.. Climate change is natural and we are in alignment with previous climate cycles with no evidence to suggest the contrary.. The polar caps are melting because they are supposed to be.. That's the dark truth that is actual science that no one actually wants to talk about or believe is real.. But these climate cycles have actually been well studied and understood for many decades now.. The ice will melt till it's gone.. Then the planet will freeze back over and life will be restricted to a small corridor on either side of the slowly moving equator.. That means most life will perish no matter what. There is nothing we will ever be able to do to stop this and trying will probably just result in equally catastrophic consequences.. The best thing we can do is preserve and foster the strength of our current ecosystems so that in the future their member species are better prepared to adapt migrate and possibly survive the restart of the ice age.. In short less beaver dams, less biodiversity. As well as fewer sources from which to draw strong genetic information..
Bóbr przychodzi następnego dnia, drapie się po głowie i myśli: „Co do… mógłbym przysiąc, że zbudowałem tu tamę!”
I can only imagine how amazing it would be if Post 10 had an excavator like this 🤣
Wow! That beaver dam was huge! Once the water started moving downstream it was amazing to see how much bank was revealed in the top area. Great job! 🙌🏼
Interesting to watch. Thanks for the video. Very nice there was no stupid music and we actually got to hear the sounds of the machinery, processes, etc
its always so nice of these guys removing the dams to leave all the sticks 6-12ft to the side for the beaver.
😂
the beavers rarely reuse material, especially if its out of the water. don't know why
No one truly knows. What we do know is that everyone loves a wet beaver.
Who says they leave it there
Remember to put it into the contract that the sticks get taken away
Nobody was home?
BTW, I can listen to this video while I fall asleep. Very ASMR machine movement, water rushing, and wood crunches 😊
Beaver fell out first scoop
Parabéns!
Motorista nota 10
For those asking what happens to the beavers, they will most likely build it back when they hear the water running again. They do not live inside the dam but in a hill like lodge usually on the bank of the body of water they have made by building the dam.
58 yrs old love this kind of video
I like what I see. Very good job. Keep up the good work dam Beavers
Лайки! Лайки! Лайки! Лайки!

Fantastic job with the heavy equipment
Great video! BTW i thought it'd be easy to "break up" a beaver dam 5 ft wide. Haha. Was allot of work. Was amazed at the supports the beavers added perpendicular (on low side) to the dam itself.
wow it's amazing with heavy machines that help humans do the hard work
Niezłe miejsce sobie wybrały , solidne boczne ścianki 😁🤣
to see the trust of heavy machinery and human between these two is amazing.
very nice!! thanks for this!!!!!
Excellent work you two ,That Weir cleaned up really good
❤
@msTECH86,

Bet those beavers were really upset :P
Excellent job 👍
Clever man, never force the limits of that machines.
Thanks!
Thank you 🙂
You didn't have to, but thank you very much ❤️❤️
Cool video. Stay safe out there.
Super robota..
Damn! Imagine how many beaver hours did it take to make that dam?
Imagine how much free time you would have if you were in their place ⛱️ So they have to deal with boredom somehow 😉
Gdyby nie głos chłopa to nie pomyślałbym nawet, że to Polacy. Pozdrawiam ;)
Dokładnie... To samo pomyślałem, myślałem że to za oceanem 😂
Dziwne miejsce 🤔
Co to za budowla betonowa .
Trochę za szerokie na jaz
Holding a lot of water that was pretty good 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
This dude is a true operator.
Good health and safety @ 11:28. Well done chaps, be safe out there.
The beavers are gonna come back like HEYYYYYYY!! And get right back to it 😂
Boa noite É UM TÁ BALHO LINDO ❤

Anyone missing Camera Number 2? IYKYK 😂
Post 10 reporting
I’m pretty sure he has a camera set up downstream for a future video though.
My first thought was "I wonder if this is the idiot with an excavator who wrecks culverts that Post moans about" 😂
@@retrolover1990 hahaha right on!
Whoop! Sound test
Having a spotter/ signaller for those blind lifts would make that job easier and safer. 15 years as a NCCCO crane operator, having another set of eyes guiding you helps a lot for time and safety concerns. Liked the video though, that water needed to flow correctly.
Excavators don’t need baby sitters
😅😂
Was there not two dudes?
That was one big beaver dam. Great job😊
I love Beavers!!!
Good job on this one,..
Очень грамотная, почти филигранная работа экскаватора.
👏 👏 👏 beavers! 💧 =życie!
Nice work
I have the feeling you cleared a dam from there not that long back. If so they had got a good solid rebuild done in not much time.
I love beaver stew I hope those beavers didn’t go to waste
Bit OTT with the excavator...ive heard all you need to clear a beaver dam is a rake 😏
Beaver watching this video..."dam you hoomans!"
Nice video. Im amazed you are allowed to let so much debris and sentiment flow downstream doing this... We would not be permitted without silt curtain and many mitigations
The Beavers 🦫 must be pissed 😡 off 😂
The human:😎😊😀
The beavers:😱😖😣
😋😁
we should hire beavers to build our roads, they do a very good job in engineering.
Great video no music
Good job guys😊
Nice video buddy
Beavers are impressive
Amazing
That's what you call a smooth operator!
Fantastico
💖💖💖
Cześć Maciek 😊 pozdrowienia z Międzyzdrojów 😏
Miłego wypoczynku Małgosiu 👋❤️❤️
Bardzo dziękuję 😊♥️
I live about a mile downstream... my whole backyard was flooded. Still can't find my lawnmower or my trampoline!
A good Beaver is a terrible thing to waste, I like beavers also😉
God love you
Hello 💖💖
post10 would be impressed^^
Beaver sees running water : well i gotta put a stop to this 🗿
👍👍
意味があってやってるのかも知れないが、いい釣り場がひとつなくなったような。

🇧🇷😃🤝
😂 I'm sorry to laugh, but my 12 year old son is watching this with me, and he says, "Jeez dad, even I can operate that better, lol.
My young lad is really smooth. Puts me to shame lol
I have demolished a beaver dam with my cousin but it was very useful cause it could cause a flood on a road that leads under a railroad to some distanat residencies
Unbelievable these animals now start using concrete 😮
Meanwhile the beavers watching this from afar
Just think, you can make your own hydro-electric station there!
Nice
I’m not lucky enough to have the beavers dam where I can get a machine to..lol
At the end of the day, we all hunt for the beaver. Namely the wet ones.
Leave the beavers alone for gawds sake. I would be mad if I was a beaver and huge excavator shows up and destroyed my hard work
Great job guys.
Making Beavers homeless: Human Edition
Fuck beavers
The Dam is not the home of the Beaver
You think they live in the dam lol?
Excavator go brrrr
This one was more than likely abandoned an active beaver wouldn't have allowed that one section to be free flowing as it was.
WOW !!! That one beaver is like WTF !!!!
I am curious what the point is if destroying the beaver dam is for? Was it hindering water flow somewhere? They didnt build that overnight.
❤❤❤❤
If you put a mineral block in the pond close to the lodge all the beavers will leave
HOOVER DAM : HOLD MY BEER.
Good job
Interesting 🤔
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Jeżeli można wiedzieć: gdzie zostało wykonane nagranie? Co to za część Polski?
Pozdrawiam 🙂
why cant just let it be..its kind natural water preservationv and erosion control
Ta druga łyżka to 2 dni palenia zimą 😎. Jak one to zbudowały?
Tysiące lat ewolucji nauczyłem je budować 😉🦫🦫
Anybody else notice that the beaver used a chainsaw to cut down a log? Scary. 9:55.
👍👍👍👍
Dam!
Now there will be stagnation and flowering of the main reservoir.
Cristo te ama
Porzadna tama ze az podnioslo maszyne jak chcial wbic łychę hehe
If you leave the sticks & branches by the water, a beaver would just drag it back in to start again.
Couple questions , would this be built by a single beaver? how long do you think it takes to build?
Could be a single beaver. Usually a beaver family. Takes a few summers of building this tall they do it in layers per yr from what I’ve seen
What happens to the beavers after
Наковырял, что половину хлама унесло дальше по каналу... Надо было немного расчистить русло, где уже текла вода и дождаться, пока объем воды, что перед плотиной, большей частью сойдет, а потом уж разбирать саму плотину
Sure hope the beavers were out of town for the weekend!
