The excavators for North America are made at Victoria, Texas.
CaT excavators are American my guy
The fact that these excavators are coming from over seas really makes me think twice about if I’d even consider buying one. Why would I want something made outside the US if all my jobs are in the US. Guess I’ll have to look at other companies.

Cat in China seems comfortable and suitable
The Chinese may make 40/day for the Chinese market. I saw the Japanese make 110/day 20 ton and larger machines at Akashi for the Japanese market about 10 years ago. They make about 500 per day in the USA, Brazil, Japan, China, Frannce, Russia, Italy, Germany, India, etc. Design control is in Akashi, Japan.
I prefer made in USA CAT not China
Because USA labor cost is 5 times than China.
But wy close the plant in aurora Illinois is going to put many people out jobs

Would it look better if you weren't biased against its country of origin? I like the new styling a lot better than the Fs. I still would rather it be made in America. I still run C series hoes, you know the engines in them are from Mitsubishi?
