    From experience my experience,you pretty much on point 🎯 . Most nurses sleep 💤 on this field! I am UR nurse speciality in psychiatry and SUD. Perks & Benefits: $avings on car expenses , flexible work schedules, ( plenty of downtime = free time) pre-authorization is easy. Able to live anywhere within 5 states ( north east) , no traffic rolling out of bed to my computer.

    I would like to hear from you after about 5 years of doing what you’re doing. It seems like theses jobs don’t last, and everyone on TH-cam are making videos about their…”NEW EXCITING NON-BEDSIDE NURSING JOBS “…..then going silent, and only to return a few months later crying that they had to quit. I appreciate your video and wish you all the best in your endeavors. I just want to hear the reality of what’s really going on. Thank you!

      after about 5 years !? 🤔 not sure where i'll be in life let alone a job but sure we can try that ... as far as these types of jobs not lasting not sure what you mean ?? do you mean the nurses get tired of them and go back working at a hospital !? i can tell you for sure i prefer working from home i love the work life balance i can take my laptop anywhere i want to get work done, i make every single appointment & meeting for my child now i get 4% annual raises , pto, paid holidays, etc. a lot of ppl go to wfh jobs for their own reasons the same reason others go back to bedside after being on this side of things .. how about i update you in a year !?

    Thank you for all the detail! I’m a bedside nurse now working overnights for 5 years and I’m getting so tired out. So my main question that I’d love you to cover in a video is how the training is and what exactly you do all day. Like do you get sent a list of patient contact info and do you have to call people. Or do you get sent over profiles that you have to to through to verify patient information. Or maybe it is a medical claim that you are looking over?

    • @nyreshadchae9510
      @nyreshadchae9510  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      in utilization review jobs on the insurance side you are considered the "payer" of that insurance so id be following the progress of yes a list of patients to ensure their progress while they are getting treatment & making sure they don't exceed their alotted amount of hospital days or then at that point i do my part in assisting with making sure their condition meets criteria for additional treatment days and if they do i'd do my part in assisting with that . more or less BUT i am still in the training process so i won't get down to the nitty gritty until about September , it's a pretty in depth training so it'll be a few weeks but i can definitely do a few day in the life videos for you guys if you'd like that. & trust me i know the feeling of that overnight . it hurts & nursing right now bedside in general has changed so much it broke me down so it was time

    • @nyreshadchae9510
      @nyreshadchae9510  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      honestly i say this all the time , i had to tweak the hell out of my resume to make sure i wasn't giving "bedside nurse" vibes when i applied. in the beginning i kept my same resume thinking i'll get a job bcuz i had so much experience & an advanced degree but that's not how the game goes, before the resume even gets to a recruiter it goes through a system based on key words, read the job description of the job you want , adjust your resume & then apply

    Thank you for this! I have been in for over 10 years and have my masters degree… With the various fields and experience, including my current role, which includes components of case management and utilization review. I am looking for something else, since I am a single mom and the commute to my job is over an hour without traffic. Needless to say, that becomes an issue when you are trying to rush to pick up kids in time from after school programs. day today stress never ending pressure to stay on a timeline to make it out on time is getting exhausting. I am in DFW which is a really competitive market… Do you have any suggestions on where to meet people to connect back on good companies and connect with someone who might be looking to make a referral bonus and help you get your foot in the door?
