    You could be picking up some noise from your power booster or another pulse source. You can: put a shield around the power booster, put a variety of filters on these various circuits, you could twist paired wires & route these wires away from each other. A combination of all of these techniques in order to reduce/stop noise.

    Good work bro... The noise seems to come from the boost converter, the switching frequency of boost and buck converters usually generates a lot of noise. My suggestion is using higher voltage batteries (2s ou 2 of them in series) and use a linear regulator, you will probably get a much better signal/noise relationship.. Keep it up dude, thx 🙏

      Indeed buck and boost converter modules produce a lot of noise and also disturb the signal receiving and transmitting sensitivity of the transceiver

    Great project. I would recommend you to use an STM32 blue pill microcontroller as it can run at 3.3-volts and has much better features than Atmega microcontrollers and cost lesser than an Arduino UNO or Nano.

    1) Nice work.
    2) Add a low pass audio LC filter with a corner frequency of about 6 to 8KHz suppress that PWM whistle at the output of ATmega.
    3) Forget 3D printing the case and use a metallic enclosure instead.

    This is very very cool! Bravo! I know where the noise is coming from, it's the mic leads. You could try putting .001uF cap across pins on the mic itself, or using shielded wire from it to the board. Those mics have a FET amp in them so can pick up RF noise and amplify it into audio and send it back out.

    Instead of boost convertor, you can use power bank module. It will be used to charge the battery also.

      I am also interested in circuit board development I found that fusion 360 also has this feature for circuit board development I understand the basics of electronics parts components and assembly but design I'm a newbie and very green. Maybe we can learn from each other on a standpoint you're great at this electronic development and I'm great at manufacturing product development through years of experience of making parts out of metal reading and understanding development blueprints and taking a print to product through manufacturing is my specialty. Look me up and educate me and I'll help you on the other end for mechanical engineer and design maybe we can trade experience.

    How does this CAD software compared to a fusion 360? I have recently been doing product development in fusion 360 for work. I am new to it, and the whole 3D model and rendering development thing, but my work specifically uses the cam/post process as I am a mechanical engineer/machinist by trade and heart. So I need the cam/post processor software/tools to design toolpaths with tools to write out G-Code for subtraction process for CNC. I'm also interested in addition process for 3D printing in the future as I'm developing my skills. I've used (Rhinoceros 3D) or rhino 6 3D in the past and I found plugins for it, for CAM processing.
    At work I recently gained access to fusion 360 but I still find myself using rhino 6 and I can import the STL files from Rhino into fusion and then from fusion use the cam post processor for manufacturing to create toolpaths and G code for my CNC HAAS mills and CNC Okuma lathes at work.
    My history as a CNC operator/setup machinist has gone to a whole new level with this product development understanding the engineering side and actually doing it has given me a new light as being in this industry since 2010 all I knew was how to write code by hand with a piece of paper, ruler, and a calculator with using G-code long hand format plotting 2D sketches and going through MDI process on the machine or manually by free hand to get results.
    I remember and understand g code without 3D modeling and without a cam processor and did so free-hand/long-hand programming. So going from this level to going to a product development level creating models and allowing the post-processor to write the code out for me is a completely different way of looking at things and it's a great educational experience I find myself still taking the spit out code from the system and fine tuning it manually understanding how the cheat code works through years of experience doing it manually. I find myself changing approach points exit points needless machine movements and changing codes to something that I know that works by hand adding in safe codes at the beginning of the program and proving programs out locking them in and creating a new setup sheets that are finally detailed so future Machinists can look at the setup sheet and have a full understanding with different viewpoints in a simplistic way of understanding and being able to set up or substitute different tools by having notes and instructions on how to do so. I feel very impressed even for myself at this level.

    Nice project! Though I`d use ready made radios. Even cheap radios work well. The most important is ability to communicate with other standard radios. But these ones only can work with same ones which is not convenient. How far can it transmit signal in clear view distance, in forest, among buildings? I guess 2.4 MHz wave can not pass through far enough in obstacled areas.

    Mic and speaker are too close to each other which creates a feedback loop.if you place them a few centimetre away than you can get rid of the noise.

      @@EtDiscover no, what i am saying is that when you speak in one walkie talkie the speaker of the second one amplifies it which is picked up by the mic of the same and sent back.this cycle repeats and creates loud pitch noise.
      Place them like in a mobile phone.

      This is really unnecessarily complicated. You can make the transmitter only from two folding gates of some 1xIO and passive electric components - 2xC (47uF), 2xR (trimmer 1k) and 1x old Mic. All this is smaller than a box of matches and easily fits into the FM pocket radio. Power supply and antenna are common. I intentionally do not describe the scheme, because it is not my channel and it is a very effective and simple spy technique. :)
