Hey some years ago I ran into a fella who used goats to help get rid of wisteria. A couple of weeks of rotating them goats and you saw some major progress.

Little George and I spent many weekends exploring backroads and dirt roads also during that time period.... I learned to love spicy bbq sauce and had just begun taking photographs with a film camera... good times for sure.

My oldest son is a old car fan!!,he owns a 79 Monte Carlo,he bought in 2005 and has won car show trophies on,he bought a 1981 two tone Buick Regal last year, and is now restoring a 1960's Pontiac Firebird that sat in a field for 30 years,it is now totally naked of any running parts...he bought, restored, drove and later sold a 78 Monte Carlo when he was 16...self taught mechanic...he works in a medical supply company, so proud of him,he has come a long way. He would love that truck. I'll have to show him your channel. Be safe out there.

My father had one just like that. He bought it used from a neighbor who returned to Puerto Rico from serving in the USARMY. My fondest memory is going to the drive in to watch Cinderella with my parents and some neighborhood kids. Of course there are other memories riding in the Van, but Cinderella at the drive in is the fondest.

The "Robert and Robert" show is very intertaining. My uncle used to have a panel truck. He used his to haul coon dogs and moonshine in it. Usually at the same time.

That's the kind of truck my grandfather would have used to get his produce from the farmers' market each Saturday for his grocery store back in the 40s and 50s. Same style. That is amazing.

My dad, Jack was a carpet layer when I grew up in Amarillo. I remember vividly his 1 ton Dodge Panel van. Next after that was a 1964 C20 Chevy pickup. It was white over blue and he had a camper shell topper. He wore it out and next was a 1969 Chevy C20 (3/4ton), same color and the camper shell fit just fine. I worked weekends and summers with dad starting at 12 years old in 1964. Different time and different values.

We had a panel truck like this when I was eight years old. No heat. Mom had to let the sun heat it up before we went to the store in the winter time. We named it Snoopy.

Love the Truck! I bought my dad a 1965 Chevy P/U in 1980 and he had it till the day he passed away. The truck came back to me and sat for 4yrs (broke my heart to hear it run). Anyway in the end it went to my son who absolutely loves the truck and worshipped his Opa. Enjoy your truck. I love the story of the hood.

I have a '66 panel van of my own and I love it! It's been rebuilt sometime in the '90s and has a 454. It's a mean machine and I don't think I'll ever let it go. Glad to see another one, there only seems to be a few left.

That's a really great find. Panel trucks are rare. It actually looks pretty cool with the 61 hood. It makes it unique. My daily driver is an even more rare 1959 Chevy one ton panel. It's been in the family since 1971, and I have personally owned it since 1985. I don't ever plan on getting rid of it.

      Brian for the truck.
Brian is a male given name of Irish and Breton origin, as well as a surname of Occitan origin. It is common in the English-speaking world. It is possible that the name is derived from an Old Celtic word meaning "high" or "noble". For example, the element bre means "hill"; which could be transferred to mean "eminence" or "exalted one".
