Cool truck but 1. the price and 2. only being able to run it on pavement makes it a hard buy for me. I look forward to seeing you guys thrash it though! Try to keep it right side up for a few minutes. It's too pretty to scar it up. Yeah, I know 😉
Totally true. My Infraction has been used once for about 30 minutes and, even though I didn’t flip it, here’s what I noticed:
1. The underside of the chassis is quite severely gouged and scraped where the downforce and low ride height pushes it into the asphalt at 80mph.
2. The inside of the car got filthy with rubber particles/marbles from the tyres. Not looking forward to cleaning that lot out. I’ve ordered inner wheel arches now.
3. It’s insanely fast but you need a LOT of space to pin the throttle and it takes an age to slow down, even with max braking. I’m not sure if this handbrake on the V2 will actually help or whether it’s just a gimmick that will chew through pads and not do much to slow the truck down. I notice in the manual it says DO NOT use the trigger brake at the same time as the handbrake!!
All true I cleaned her up new tires and back on shelf we need those pieces you ordered, i knew going happen threw insulation tape on the bottom sure protect guages,but now I need goof off to get residue off , I noticed all how look at it you can pay destroy and fun was your money worth most like us want keeping top shape thats the hobby alot work 😉

While the new Infraction V2 is "very good", the Felony (which is based on the Infraction V2) should be even better...MUCH better. As for the single 6S vs two 3S, you DEFINITELY want to stick with two 3S - the single 6S WILL throw the balance off
Can you explain the difference? I thought the Felony was basically an Infraction with a different body?
@@maddoctor99 Not much in difference - the Felony body is slightly bigger, and more aerodynamic. One's a car, the other a truck. On one (Infraction), the appearance is 'fixed'...on the other (Felony), you can give the vehicle slightly different appearances, using the included optional parts. The Infraction includes the "hand brake"...with the Felony, the "hand brake" is an optional 'accessory'. As cool as the glossy/flat paint job is on the orange body, the black body looks ripe for a "Mad Max" conversion.
Robb Ryan ah cool. So when you said the Felony should be much better than the Infraction, you meant aesthetically. 👍 A Mad Max Pursuit Special would be awesome!
@@maddoctor99 For the most part, yes...but, at the same time, I think the Felony should also be slightly faster. Both are (approx) the same weight, and both have the same electronics, so, theoretically, both would have the same top speed...until you toss aerodynamics into the ring. I'm not saying the Felony would be excessively faster, but it should be faster. I would like to see the two go head-to-head, in a scale drag race (137ft, if I remember correctly), as well as a longer-distance run (long enough to achieve true top-speed...say, at least 500ft).

They’re awesome for drifting and short distance drag racing. I can’t wait until you have a test run video. I’m curious about the new hand brake feature. Once again congratulations!

Arrma is a British company so any stars are coincidental rather than U-S-A patriotism but glad it made you so happy!
Arrma is no longer a company, its a brand owned by Horizon Hobby which is a U-S-A company...try nor to read so deep into it, its just an RC car bud.
Earl Mauger I know what you’re trying to say but you’re not quite right. Arrma IS a brand but Horizon Hobby is a distributor who owns the brand. Horizon Hobby doesn’t produce or design their vehicles. Either that or my friend is lying when he says he’s still employed by Arrma’s R&D team in Derbyshire, England...

As fast as these cars are getting, I can see a drag chute in the near future. I'm a novice so perhaps some of these cars already have them. If not it seems the next logical step as they progress.

FYI the rear “aerodynamics” is called a diffuser and the front is called a splitter. I didn’t know they added an e brake- that’s pretty sweet. The restomod Chevy c-10 body

I'm a day late, that looks AWWWWWSOME! I like how the stars kinda squeeze as they go towards the bottom of the truck. I saw Aaron from RC SPARKS got the car, black one, that looks amazing as well! Does that spoiler get replaced with a painted one, or is it just an 'invisible' can't wait to see this in that parking lot (where you blew that tire on the one ?truck) y'all need a big open area for this thing, for sure!

My LHS in Canada says that they haven’t had ANY new stock from Arrma since January because Covid has shut down the factories and shipping routes. I have no idea whether all of Arrma’s stock for North America hits the USA first and then gets trucked over the border or whether the hobby shops in the US are out of stock too. I was trying to get a Kraton 6S for months and no luck. Strange thing is that the border is open for commercial traffic and even Horizon Hobby seems to be out of stock of ALL Arrma vehicles so I’m guessing they just can’t get any stock out of China. Weird that it’s radio silence on their website though.

BTW just wanted to let you know that running on the high speed gearing, the electronics get very very hot, and it is recommended that you only use that gear when doing speed runs. 🙂
