Arrma really struck gold with the Infraction. It has taken the RC world by storm and is almost universally loved.

Legit! Between this monster and the Limitless roller, and now the Vendetta showing even their 3s platform is perfect, NOBODY can touch Arrma in the road car department. Nobody. Not a single company makes an out of box experience like Arrma does. Traxxas lies and prohibits aftermarket support, and the rest are even less mentionable 🤣🤷♂️
I Hate to sound fanboyish but Arrma is the Name in RC now. Everyone else is just trying to match that energy, even knockoff brands rip off Arrma designs now (looking at you ZD racing! Haha)
I just bought one brand new from dealer!!!! Thanks to your video and several others like it I feel like I got a great rc. I mostly have Traxxas and do really great with them. Seem very user friendly. But I know there are other makers out there I can’t keep myself stuck in a cave with just 1 brand. When I saw it I fell in love, it seems very well built for the type of driving I’ll be doing with it.

I have an earlier version, no handbrake, it rips. Great cars these. I feel the same way as you. Xmaxx is great out of the box, but as you stated, different type of bashing.

Yeah I agree with you that it's different to the x maxx BUT I wouldn't call it a different type of bashing,as I don't think street racing counts as bashing. I'd call the x maxx a basher and this a street racer,I don't think it counts as bashing at all.
I know people call it street bashing but I really can't see how it's bashing, IMHO it's just normal road use/street racing, I think bashing is what the name suggests, you bash it about with jumps etc ( don't have to go Kevin Talbot level lol but you have to bash it to call it bashing

@David Mellish that's what makes Arrma road cars street BASHERS and not just "racers" They're faster than everything else, AND more durable. Idk anyone who DOESN'T launch their Arrma street cars lol. Do that with a 4tec or TT02 and you'll be building a whole new car.....do it with an Arrma and you just did a cool thing and kept driving 🤷♂️ it most certainly IS a street basher lol
I just got one of these a couple weeks ago in the same color, I have wanted one since they first came out and finally couldn’t resist any longer! It is so much fun and you hit on all the things that make this such a great and fun truck. Thanks for putting out the amazing content that you do 👍

I remember about a year ago seeing videos of this and loved the drifting capabilities of it! Went on a Facebook group and everyone was saying take out the e-brake because it sucks. Wait, WHAT??!! So it kinda turned me off from buying one. Left that group.
Fast forward to last week and a new group starts sharing a link for them being on sale using a 120. 00 off of price. Sooooo, last week I placed an order for a Blue one and should be here this Friday.

Great video! One of my absolute favorite onroad RC cars of the last few months. The design, the power, the tuning possibilities are unbelievable, but everything has its price...
After a 30 year hiatus from RC cars I came back to the hobby in January of 2021 and bought an Infraction V2...and it blew my god damned tits off. I think you're right on the money in your assessment. I've since taken to speed running and have gone head first with a running start down the rabbit hole and have modded mine to a fairly extensive degree with a bunch of kit from Scorched RC, TP Motors, SRC, Castle Creations, Futaba and some others I'm not thinking of right now and I absolutely love this beast. My PB before rebuilding it this winter was 119mph and I'm looking forward to the 2022 season.

I love my Infraction V2. Such a fast and fun RC. Don't use the speed pinion with the stock electronics. It will fry the ESC very easily. I've done it. I did two speed runs back to back. That did it
I love these rigs. I don't a lot on the street and I never do speed runs but I know I will eventually own one of these trucks. I own a few different arrma trucks so I know you can do a lot with the platform. And it just looks badass. Arrma does very well with their esthetic designs.
I just got one of these for my birthday, I’ve only run on 50% because I need a larger area, I have to say, you feel the tyres and they seem hard as rock, so I was completely shocked at how fast it pulled. Just saying your vid dropped in good time for me. Add titanium skids for sparks on an evening run…. 😁

Infraction & Felony definitely unchallenged. Can't afford one, though, but I am working on making a used Limitless an on-road course racer. Lucky enough to have a track near me with a 1/7 class! All I've really managed to do well so far is crash, LOL.

I use the limitless chassis for my offroad bashing, and even after a year or more it's still not bent, and i don't bash lightly with it, i have to say those chassis are pretty durable
Hell yeah! The Arrma road car chassis has way better angles stamped into it for rigidity. It's a bit wide for my tastes off road but stronger than the kraton chassis that's for sure! Lol

Phil I got the same infraction and GPS, got a bracket from eBay that clips onto the roll bars and holds the GPS meter. It was less than £10 delivered. It’s 3D printed but fits extremely well

My infraction v2 did 95mph stock. I made no changes but the reason the v2s are so much faster than the v1s is because they have different differential gearing. Sadly the stock spektrum esc caught fire so its now running the castle mmx8s and 1717 1650kv motor on 8s

Arrma for life 👍 I'll own any brand but Arrma was my first hobby brand and my favorite by far. I love my Limitless 8s! It's geared for 150mph hahah Hit 114mph so far 🚀👍 Would love to pick up a Infraction and or Felony! Have 2 Kraton 6s, Outcast 6s, Typhon Mega with 6s system and my Limitless 8s would love to own one of each model hahah Looking at Outcast 8s next

Good stuff buddy. Check the sales that are going on right now, just got a K8 EXB roller for 500 :D I almost got the Outcast 8s but after doing the research it just isn't the right choice, poor handling/steering and you lose the shorter-truck durability factor because of the weight. Get the KING Kraton, my bro has one and it's insane!

And I'm just looking at the Outcast 8s cause my buddie has a mint one with M2c Chassis, Vitavon bulkheads, bearing carriers, etc with Hobbywing 1100kv and Max5 with all the stock parts plus spares for a decent price so that's why I'm leaning towards the Outcast 8 for now 👍 I had a Kraton 8s v2 stock and it was a rocket so I'd be happy with both for sure! You'll love it for sure! I'm not super rough on my trucks but this Outcast will be able to take a BEATING 💪 hahah

The mojave and kraton are very far from brittle i have both and i absolutely beat the shit out of them before either of them broke if your breaking arrmas to the point you think there brittle you gotta learn how to drive
Nothing Arrma makes is "brittle" lol. People just do way crazier shit with Arrma trucks than they do with other trucks, hence you think they break easy. I've a 6s notorious V4 that I've done nothing to except RPM arms (which are cheaper than arrma arms) because I wanted the extra shock mount points and only time I broke anything was after a 70mph launch off a 40 foot hill and nosedive directly into the side face of a sidewalk 🤣 it cracked the diff housing ever so slightly and bent the FF lower pin retainer. Nothing else could have survived that with such little damage. I'd rethink that stance if I were you lol

Would be awesome if Traxxas challenged the Arrma 1/7 line up. The XO-1 needs a make over!
@@TomleyRC it was great when it was great but now it’s just an outdated platform people are not going to pay $1000 for what is basically a motor and a differential. Do a side-by-side comparison of an ex 01 and any of the arrma 1/8 platforms and see how much more you get for your money just by looking at them with the bodies off!
I just bought one for 310 USD with over 1000 invested into it. Thing is a beast

Very nice! We just picked up a Limitless (same chassis) with a Spektrum 6s system a few weeks ago and it's fast!
Funny enough i pulled the motor out because it really would have 8s.... I know you'll call me crazy but that chassis can take it all day! And the chassis is so heavy, it needs a better brake force!
I've seen 12s on all stock car minus ESC and motor. They're fuckin bulletproof!
It's a great truck luv mine upgraded the motor.servo.gear go it running 89 mph 💥

15t out of the box
Got the Limitless last month. Got it as a roller. Saving up for electronics and maybe a alternative body from Delta plastics. I still love my Senton. The jumps were sweet, does the hand brake disengage the rear drive shaft and diff?
The limitless is a beautiful chassis. The handbrake just holds a disc on the centre diff… doesn’t disengage anything
I saw a handbrake for the limitless on ali express and it attaches to the back instead of the center, but yes you would need a center diff instead of a spool and the rear output on the center diff would be disengaged and the front output would keep going, that's what I thought but donno.
I bought 2 limitless's last month and all the parts have not arrived yet so I never tried them. I also want to buy a delta plastic body for them, the f50 and the 1949-51 mercury coupe looks so sick
The asphalt were you live is really coarse and stoney. Seems rough especially if you are comparing it to scale cars and how it might effect handling. The asphalt in Canada is generally a lot smoother or less coarse. Definitely a different mix. Just an observation for no reason probably noticed because I used to lay asphalt.
Cool speed truck, I plan to get an Infraction or Limitless V2 after i build my XO-1 and get an X-Maxx i think Arrma made a great platform with the Infraction, Limitless and Felony. Can't wait to get one and drive it with my XO-1 and mod both to go 100mph.
I have a feeling that XO-1 is going to collect a lot of dust once you get the arrma lol! Xo1 is a one trick pony. No aftermarket support, nobody uses them. Nobody mods them. Nobody cares about them. They handle like shit, drive like shit, have no adjustability....but they sure do look nifty! 🤣🤷♂️🫡
@@Lord_Pistachio_Nut That might happen but i'm going to try to drive every now and again. Current i'm having a war with myself if i should buy the 2022 RTR or if i should build the one i have which is the older version. If i plan to build my current one it will get a Castle MMX 8s with 1717 1,650KV and a RC8X radio. If i buy the new RTR i might keep or sell my current one.
I forgot to mention what i would do with mine if i didn't get the new rtr. I would build mine with a Castle MMX 8s\1717 1650KV Combo or a Hobbywing Max 6\4985 1650KV Combo i might end up with the Castle since i don't think the HW motor would fit. I'm having trouble deciding what i should do.
What about the Traxxas XO-1? Isn’t that even faster out the box?

I still can’t believe it took you over 5 months to drive this! Kevin T would of Driven it, broke it , rebuilt it, driven it, broke it… 6 times in the first day! And probably would have done 101kph as well as put in the speed pinion on that same day, and then break it at a skate park launching it to the moon! And breaking it again! 😝😂✌🏻😊

Imo, the xmaxx of on roaders
It would be nice to see a vs test, "expesive" speed demon vs "cheap" speed demon, wltoys 124017/16 this one out of the box can hit 99km/h as you just showed us, and you know the wltoys can reach 91km/h on 3s, one could say, yeah but the wltoys comes with a 2s not 3s, but since the arrma doesnt even come with a battery I think It would be fair out of the box, I know the arrma Is in a way diferent ligue, twice the size of the wltoys, but its 5 times More expensive than the wltoys, hell only the cost of the 6s battery for the arrma can cover the cost of the entire wltoys, and even get some change to Buy some spare parts, I know those two cars are worlds apart from each other, but still I think maybe a good test, anyway cheers mate, hope you are having a nice week so far!!

Traxxas has some thing under wraps that they’re developing right now that will be released later this year. There will be competition, and Traxxas parts will be cheaper and more ready available

Watching your video my understanding is you don’t need the hand brake to drift this truck? Reason being is I need to change the transmitter and receiver out on this truck and obviously it won’t have that special switch in it.
Now you need the wheels that spark and run it at night

With the batteries loaded on how much do they weight ? 20 pounds ish ?
I’ve run mine one time and only ran the battery down half way and the rear tires are completely gone and the fronts are past half way.. so 75$ every half pack!! I’m not sure what to do? I’m thinking sell it.
They should last a few packs at least… maybe you have a heavy trigger finger!
I definitely do but speed runs aren’t fun to me and they advertise it as a drifter, hell it’s even got an e-brake.🤣🤣 I’ll try the silver hoons.

On mine i duct taped the front down and got an extra 5mph and i bumped up to a 28t or 29t but consistent 93 without tape
