Airbus. 330 - 200/300 is successful in long haul travel..Must continue on this success, with newer fuel efficient /quiet engine model as 800 series can offer...With more 34 pitch seating room space, plus wider double gangway movement for passenger comfort.
Well, they still have Mcdonald Douglas and boeing aircraft that are covering the same jobs, boeing is still producing the 767 for freight and military use.
Strategic steps to boost A330-800neo sales
Airbus also need to weigh up the cost of keeping the production line open with the legacy airframe to just fulfil mrtt orders
Working for Boeing
My understanding is that MRTTs are mostly converted airframes, and very few are brand new airframes.
@@jaysmith1408…there are arguments both ways.
I don't think so. Canada's A330 MRTTs are all newbuilds.
@@michaelrmurphy2734 so are the RAAFs and the RAF I believe are all conversions. I think the RAAF have or are converting some old Qantas A330-200s.
Wouldn’t say just the B787 also swapped their A330CEO for A350. Maybe in years to come look at A350 being aMRTT?
I believe it’s too soon.
Perfect place for the 330neo 800!!!!!! Excellent!!!!😊
Aha! Airbus A330NEO MRTTs would be perfect for the RCAF
We just got the CEOs so unfortunately I don’t think we’re gonna get any soon

What's the potential market for such aircraft after 2030 considering those that are currently in service? 60 airframes?
AWESOME IDEA!
Base it on the freighter - bigger door would help
