Good looking car. I'm really not a fan of the interior especially the dash, they shouldn't have included everything on the tablet. The car doesn't accommodate tall people at the rear, it's cramped.
The speedometer issue could've been alright, if it just had a HUD

Thank you for the review. To manage the price point they went with an adaptable design hence the door is not Lefthand right hand dependable. Also Manufacturing is in China not Europe for now their Belgium plant will start production soon. This platform is also shared by other cars with in the Geelee group (Volvo's Parent Company) just a FYI.

Please be honest about the real world range. We all know 480km is unrealistic.
In my personal experience: take 75% - 80% of that as real world range …
@@ritafernandes7218 that’s city driving numbers I reckon, would be great if it could achieve 300km - 350km of highway speed @100km/h average
I saw information from a UK website saying that it has a real world range of about 360kms.

How long does it take for one's order to get into the country (South Africa) in this case???
Secondly, the glass roof case, Switzerland is or most Europe is snowing so I think it will attract much of heat and sun. Did you learn anything on the sun roof case???
3 months from placing the order. Yes the sunroof retains too much heat in my opinion, having test driven it recently, so I personally have ruled out the ultra, as it has no sunshade, and you’re forced to take a panoramic roof with the ultra . It was rather uncomfortable in this current heat wave (oh! And there are no aircon vents in the back for the passengers, it relies on the front vents cooling the entire car). A considerable amount of cost cutting was undertaken 😂

Why no launch control 0-100 displayed? Or did I miss it? The 20 to 90 you did was not even less than 4 sec
It is indeed that fast. My husband has a Porsche 911 and he’s worried if I get the ultra spec. I love the look of this car but the interior quality is trash and it has no comfort features for passengers in the rear (no armrest, aircon vents or cupholders etc.). I test drove it in the heatwave - and the panoramic sunroof makes it feel like a greenhouse in there - it doesn’t have a sunshade .
What is under the front hood?
A storage compartment, usually to place your charging cables.
The decisions they made regarding the interior were stupid. A speedometer needs to be in line of sight as has been the case for decades, why hide mirror adjustments in the damn touch screen. That alone is worth ignoring this car.

If Volvo is giving you the car for a week to make content with it and you rely on carmakers giving you cars to make content and therefore money, how can we be sure that what you're saying about the car is true? How do we know you're not just praising it because you just want another car for another video?

@@biggeststeppa1Just as well this has been rated one of the safest new Cars to come on the market 😂 Full marks for crash test. It’s actually overboard the safety systems on this.
@@SWR112 I know Volvo has a great reputation, but a lot of cars this channel specifically has hyped up have dubious crash results, terrible overall reliability and exceedingly dangerous ADAS systems.
At some point we have to ask ourselves why we're allowing a few to endanger the lives of South Africans just because they want ad revenue.
There's nothing wrong with labeling these videos as ads because that's what they are. You're compensated to overstate the positives of a product while glossing over the negatives.
The same for all tech and car reviews. They focus on positives more than negatives, and never tell us to avoid something.
