I will use this comment to make an appreciation post about the turtle devs. The whole experience of turtle wow has been an amazing one, and the devs seem to be what the original blizzard devs should have been when expanding the vanilla game. This new patch has made such amazing changes to every class and the fact that they now have the gear to support each playstyle makes it even more amazing. Especially classes/specs like the paladin, arcane mage, druid, shaman, affli lock, etc have become amazing. Thank you for all the amazing content and the great job that you've been consistently doing!
@@leviathan091 i think paladin is a bit too strong right now but such is life of balancing it takes trial and error i'm sure the dev are monitoring the stuff, the classic Paladin was in dire need of attention no one can deny that.

I've always disliked that Paladin Healers are just armoured priests effectively. Giving them reasons to wear plate and incentive to engage in combat is good
I play priest and i'm loving the changes, so far in leveling smite and holy fire have been superior to wand unless you got a gigachad wand. Having these 2 spells being powerful along the shadow bits makes for an interesting damage rotation at the healer role. Holy fire seems to be superior to smite at all time i need more testing but i think their role should be clearer anyway, moving some of the instant damage to the dot would be a quick fix but giving it a cooldown and increased damage would be more fun but similar to mind blast, adding a mechanic where the holy fire dot increase smite and holy nova damage making them better button than holy fire as long as the dot is up is a bit more work but would be awesome ! As for the heals they're lacking identity, heal is litteraly just a double cast of lesser heal and i'm not sure what's the purpose of greater heal if i ever need to heal someone for that much it is no time to start a 3 seconds cast it's probably flash heal and power word shield time followed by whatever else besides greater heal who will overheal at that point i'd love to see a rework of them, flash heal and the shield have the emergency and prevention identity spot on and the dot heal is a life topper they're all happy button lesser heal ,heal and greater heal have all the "cost efficient" identity and lack another purpose, a simple synergy like casting one of the heals improves the others 2 like this or that for the next cast, we'd have multiple options depending on wich one we casted before the next wich rewards good healing prediction and sequencing between the 3. It could even have a greedy option where you consume the buff you got from casting heals to increases the next damage spell instead very fun wow version you rock

They are TBCing the class. Aka releasing changes on a spec by spec basis only for raid viability. And interesting specs or hybrid playstyles are gone as a well. No more ret reck. No more holy shock ret.
grats, you killed the most fun spec (shock/spelladin) to play and on top of that take the ONLY ranged spell paladin had... also, melee plate healer in theory and lore sounds like the right choice but in practice just doesn't work - as a pve healer with 0% hit you are expected to hit a boss 3 times to proc 9% haste and reset holy shock which in turn you will use on yourself because cleaves. in pvp that means running into the fray where you will be (more quickly) pulverized to dust by ultra buffed warriors, rogues and enh shamans... good job indeed.
ur wierd lmfao, we leggit have mortal strike itsa 1 - 1 copy paste of it except it require mana, an on top means more SoC proccs aka more dmg so its around the same as it was before
@@mawofdread147 Nah queueing up Holy Strikes for burst damage felt rewarding. Now it hits like a wet noodle and you're forced to make an arbitrary choice every 6s making the rotation clunky and focused on tracking buffs, which is boring. It reminds me of retail class design.

In other words, HS is the new junk spell that feels bad to press, except its cooldown is also tied to CS resulting in clunky gameplay. All they had to do was add a short cooldown to CS to address the spammy gameplay. They went overboard with changes.
*Paladin & Shaman* got spoiled with their armor sets , tho , only negative would be Horde Racial nerf , Horde are supposed to have PvP OP racial , the novelty of rolling a Horde character.
I actually quit the game because i was just onehitting everything at level 10 with crusader strike. Isnt classic supposed to be hard? And I read a little bit on other classes and they were also just plain buffs with some placebo nerfs... Maybe you could make Crusader Strike be only available at level 40? Same as Mortal Strike for Warriors? That wouldnt make the leveling be on very easy mode with god mode enabled.

Split up the cooldown of Holy Strike and Crusader Strike and it will be fine. Like this the rotation is dull and sluggish.

Its an amusing first few levels especially with dragon buff. No reason to quit the game. It doesnt last long.
