Very few actually understand who mooch really is. I really wish this would’ve been uncut due to mooch being able to speak more freely. This interview was butchered where only the highlights were taken from this. He would’ve never put a 20 minute interview like this one turned out. This has been cut from over 2 hours of raw film. Mooch sincerely cared about his brothers. I was struggling with work and family issues and I came home from work after a 14 hour day. When I opened my garage door he was in my garage picking up take off bike parts and cleaned up my entire garage. He only did this due to him knowing what I was going through, and wanted to help ease my stress. He always helped his brothers any way he could. I didn’t come from the major club, I just helped kick off LTR. Love you mooch, I’ll see you soon.

I once interacted with a group of Mongols on my wedding day. My groomsmen took me to a restaurant close to the venue before the ceremony so that I wouldn’t see my bride before then and we we got a table that just happened to be next to a group of Mongols (and their “old ladies”). Since we were all in our nice suits, we certainly stuck out as much as they did and thus caught their attention. So we ended up chatting with them for a bit and they were actually very nice, much to my surprise and relief. I doubt anyone like that could ever be a part of my social groups, but maybe it was a good omen that we ran into each other for I ended up having one of the best days of my life. I only hope those folks are doing okay despite the lifestyle they chose.

One thing about the Hells Angels beef with the Mongols. I've heard the bottom rocker story for years but a few years ago I saw a docu series with George Christie. He said that a formal Angel ratted on club members or got some one killed. But basically that guy ran away and joined the Mongols. At the time the Mongols accepted anyone that can ride. When they saw him at an event the traitor hid with the Mongols and a war began. From the way that Mongols still take anyone fairly easily, it's a plausible scenario.

I remember someone suggesting that gang kids weren't able to follow rules so they shouldn't be expected to..... A local youth counselor burst out laughing. She said, "The first thing that happens when you want to join a gang is they tell you all their rules. And why you'd better follow them."
Marginalized people, but also dysfunctional people are attracted to outsider lifestyles, but if you want to join a group like a biker gang, you have to be willing to accept their structure, expectations, and follow the rules. Of course, at some level there is chaos, but usually controlled chaos.
A student one time threatened that her father, a gang member, was going to kick my butt at Back To School Night. Latino society is generally more polite than Norte Americano society so it's always best to act respectfully. It's a good lesson anywhere. He came into my room, I was respectful, he was respectful. And my student, his daughter? She absolutely beamed with pride. Another time he came in with his arm in a sling. He'd been shot. I hope she's doing well.

Was in the upstate NY chapter. Came in around the same time as Mooch and his twin Brother. We went to visit with the few guys trying to get baltimore up and running. JD and Gringo. Both of whom turned out to be atf. Well anyway, they found out my Chapter president had a well sized bike trailer and when i tell you they jut would not stop trying to convince us to transport stolen bikes. Like every day they just kept trying to wear us down and get into the stolen bike game. None of us however were committing crimes like that. We all worked legit jobs, paid taxes, had families, etc. Finally we broke of contact with those guys down there. Eventually they moved to virginia and started a Mongols chapter there. And when they couldn't get crimes going or bust anyone they dropped out and moved on to the Outlaws MC as a Prospective chapter. We ran into them again at the waterbury Outlaws clubhouse during a funeral for Johnny 1%er. JD, Gringo were both atf. Charlie Falco was a snitch/informant. Their entire chapter was fugazi. They put some good guys in jail for crap they not only dreamed up and instigated, but literally pushed on those guys. One of the guys eventually told me he gave in simply to get them to shut the f**k up and leave him be. THAT is how persistent they were. Anyway, Love & Respect Mooch. ~Bandit from NYC/Long Island

The American Motorcycle Association stated: “99% of the motorcycling public are law-abiding; there are 1% who are not.” So as a response, they started wearing a patch to indicate they were that 1%. So it wasn't about following the rules of the association it was a sort of joke response to the motorcycle association saying 99% of bikers are decent law-abiding citizens.

Who would have thought a story about being in a motorcycle gang could be so boring.

These videos are awesome! Please keep making them!
For the ones with foreign language speakers, has your team considered dubbing over the audio? At least into English? There was at least one that I didn’t watch because it was subbed and I couldn’t focus on it and my work at the same time.
You could even upload both the sub and dub version to honor the voice of the original speaker, while giving accessibility options to viewers.
Thanks for all the hard work!
