M60 is the Giga chad of all guns solely because of ammo efficiency. It actually has a really bad dps compared to all the other guns around it, but an entire belt last you 9.6~ seconds of constant auto. It’s fire rate is kinda the reason it is both good and lacking, especially compared to weapons similar to it( mk18, mg42 )
the MK18 is excellent for free running on high waves, but mediocre on camping, while the M60 is essential for endurance, which is why it’s great for camping on a spot
I just got the mk18 an hour ago. And it shreds small horde or big horde. Its so strong yet small ammo capacity and a big problem for finding ammo. Those 2 are the only problems for me. Op as heck and ill prob use it for running and save up for m60. M60 is gonna be my camping or horde killer gun.
Not gonna lie im not sure what to get i feel like the m60 is better for survival since the ammo lasts you longer especially in higher waves compared to a gun that looks cooler, has similar penetration, faster firerate, but Terrible ammo

It's the literally the most brain dead gun to use in any mode except hsrdcore Barret and the mm8 gives more fun and is a tuslly good

MK18 looks a bit more play for fun then the m60 where as the m60 is more practical but both are really similar

I love the MK18 but I’m saving up for the SVD. The MK18 Shreds but that and it’s fire rate are a problem because you quickly empty your ammo reserve

Mk18 is just a better M4. It looks cool but has no right to cost as much as it does.

Mk 18 is better than m60 IF you can sacrifice the lower ammo count
